This cozy getaway has everything you need, including a full kitchen, comfortable living room, and plenty of outdoor space to relax. It's perfect for families or couples looking for adventure by day and peaceful evenings by night. Visit our nearby farm stand, take a scenic drive through the Sierra foothills, or simply enjoy the quiet surroundings and star-filled skies. Your perfect California getaway awaits!

The space
Perched on a hill in Ahwahnee, our 3.8-acre property offers a peaceful retreat with stunning mountain views. Our cozy cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada.

We're just a short drive from Yosemite National Park, with easy access through the South Entrance or via Mariposa's scenic Merced River Canyon. Oakhurst is only 10 miles away and offers grocery stores, restaurants, and other essentials, while historic Mariposa, 19 miles away, features charming shops, art galleries, and local dining.

Enjoy scenic drives, hike nearby trails in the Sierra National Forest, or visit our farm stand for fresh produce, eggs, baked goods, and other seasonal offerings. We're open daily from March through November.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house and yard. The large private yard around the home is fenced, well-kept, and ready for you to enjoy. You’re welcome to explore beyond the fence, but please be careful—there’s a lot of poison oak, which can cause an itchy rash.

From June to October there is an area dedicated to growing flowers for local markets. If you’d like to visit the flower farm, please ask the host for permission. The flower farm is for looking, not picking. We appreciate your understanding!

Other things to note
Based on feedback from guests we have added a portable air conditioner in each bedroom. We also now have great WiFi available for guests.
