Beautiful and walkable
Guests say this area is scenic and it’s easy to get around.
A London getaway, in the heart of Kew Gardens, ideal for visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens or The National Archives, both of which are a 10 min walk from us. Alternatively, central London is only a 40 min Tube ride away. This private and independently accessed cabin offers visitors a snug oasis in the rear of our garden and we will be on site to welcome you, and to 'show you the ropes'.
The space
Our heated cabin is provisioned with a king size double bed, work-desk, en-suite shower room and a kitchenette containing: fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a Nespresso. Additionally, there's fast Wi-Fi, Netflix TV, ceiling fan and a patio with further table and seating. Note that power sockets are UK 230 volts. Pillows and duvets are synthetic and the bedding is cotton or cotton-polyester. Access is via an illuminated gravel path through side passage gates. A starter, self-service continental breakfast is provided (e.g. tea, coffee, sugar, milk, juice, cereal, bread or crumpets, butter, jam) .
Please note that there are two steps, one into the cabin and one into the bathroom; this regrettably precludes wheelchair access. Also, be aware that bathroom ceiling height is restricted to 2 metres and the premises are unsuitable for children, nor are extra beds available.

Getting to us by Public Transport
Take a westbound District line train (tube) to Richmond (not Ealing Broadway) and get off at Kew Gardens. On exiting the station, turn right and walk about 5 min.
Arriving by Car
Roadside parking is readily available, though a parking permit is required for each weekday between 10 am and 12 noon. For limited periods we'll provide free permits for a single vehicle. Be sure to ask for parking tickets, on arrival, should you need them.
Getting to central London from Kew typically takes about 40 min, either by Tube from Kew or by train from Richmond. Additionally, from April to October, you can take river boat trips from Kew Pier, either upstream to Hampton Court, or downstream to central London, as far as Greenwich and the Thames barrier.
Getting around Kew is best done on foot, as most places are within a 5 to 15 min walk. There are several local cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops, as well as a monthly market (first Sunday). For those taking courses at St Luke's House (Kew Studio) or Zita Elze, both are a 5 min walk from us. Slightly further afield, there's the river and its pubs, or Richmond which is just a 20 min walk (or one stop by Tube) and offers more pubs, restaurants, shops, cinema and theatre.
