Welcome to Gorgeous Gorleston and our stunning 4-bedroom Edwardian terraced house - the perfect choice for your next family holiday or weekend break.

Gorleston-on-Sea is a delightful Norfolk seaside town with miles of beautiful sandy beach, recently named one of the UK's best beaches by Trip Advisor.

The house is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the beach, seaside attractions and a traditional high street with shops, cafes and restaurants.

The space
As you step into the light and airy entrance hall, you’ll notice the house has a relaxed, homely feel and lots of period features, including hardwood floors.

Watch TV or relax in the large living room with bay window to the front, and play board games or curl up with a book in the cosy library.

Prepare family meals in the fully-equipped kitchen with range cooker, and eat together in the adjoining dining room.

A bright, sunny garden room leads out to the courtyard where you can sit peacefully or enjoy an outdoor meal. The courtyard and garden room face west, so are perfect for enjoying the sun on those light evenings.

Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms feature comfy beds with Egyptian cotton bedding, plenty of storage space and some great views!

Two of the bedrooms are doubles, one also has a large sleeper sofa. The third bedroom is a flexible king/twin/triple. The smaller fourth bedroom is perfect as a children’s room and there's a sofa bed downstairs if you need some extra space.

The large, family bathroom offers a bath plus a brand new separate walk in shower, and super soft towels are provided. Downstairs, there’s a second loo just off the kitchen.

Guest access
The whole house is yours to enjoy during your stay.

Other things to note
On street parking is available for one car in front of the house or on the adjacent roads if you need extra space. Please be sure to leave space for our neighbours to use their gates. Sorry but EV charging is not possible at the present time.

Neighborhood highlights

Our house is just a short distance from Gorleston's beautiful sandy beach - 7 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive with free parking available.

In the other direction, it's only 5 minutes walk to the high street, with plenty of familiar shops plus local boutiques and cafes. There's a Morrison's supermarket open until late with plenty of free parking.

Enjoy our traditional British seaside at Gorleston beach, which stretches for three wonderful sandy miles. If you're looking for a relaxing, tranquil beach, with amazing views and golden sand, you've found the ideal place!

Patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months, this is a fantastic beach for building sandcastles and very child friendly. The whole beach is open to dogs from October to April, and there's a large dog friendly section year round.

The newly installed Splashzone is great for cooling off the kids during the summer and the model boating pond is a lovely reminder of Gorleston's Victorian heyday.

On the clifftop, there's a large play area, fitness trail, tennis courts and lots of green space. This is the setting for the annual clifftop festival and many other community events.

If you fancy an ice cream, or some traditional fish and chips, head to one of the cafés on the prom. And the seaside shops are stocked up with buckets and spades, souvenirs and fishing supplies.

Or simply relax on a bench on the prom or cliffs, looking down onto the shoreline, watching the waves gently break on the golden sand.

There's plenty to do in the evening too - visit the historic Pavilion Theatre, catch a show at the Ocean Room or a movie. And plenty of choice of restaurants, pubs and take-aways, within a few minutes walk.

Just 3 miles north is the much busier town of Great Yarmouth, a lively seaside resort with beaches, piers, the Golden Mile and Pleasure Beach.

Continue north and you'll find beautiful unspoilt beaches at Winterton, Sea Palling and Horsey, home to seals and an abundance of birdlife. The spectacular Norfolk Broads are within easy reach and you can hire a day boat from Wroxham, Acle or Potter Heigham.

Head to historic Norwich to visit the Norman Castle, cathedrals and museums. Visit the vibrant outdoor market - named the UK's best - and the many independent shops in the lanes. For big name stores, head to Intu Chantry Place or Castle Quarter, which also houses a Vue cinema.

Head south into Suffolk and you'll find Lowestoft, another Victorian seaside town, and Pleasurewood Hills family theme park. Further down the coast are Southwold, Aldeburgh and Henham Park, home of Latitude Festival.

My work: Gorgeous Gorleston holiday home
Lives in Norwich, United Kingdom
I absolutely love to travel and find joy in experiencing new things. I've visited many countries and always try to get close to people living there, as they know the best places and hidden gems! I've met so many amazing people while travelling or working overseas, and have friends all over the world. I'm a real beach lover and I'm lucky enough to live close to the stunning coastline of Norfolk. I can't wait to share it with you!
