The space
It’s Always Sunny in Salvo is your perfect coastal escape for making unforgettable Outer Banks memories. Whether you’re a couple seeking a romantic retreat or a small family ready for some sand, fun and sun, our cozy cottage offers the ultimate in privacy and comfort.
This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat features a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom and a living room sofa bed, accommodating up to 4 guests.
** If you intend to have 3 or 4 people stay and will make use of the sofa bed, you must bring your own queen size linens, pillows and blankets (double linens are a bit too small). Please let us know if you will have 3 or 4 people, as only 2 sets of towels are provided as a standard.**
If you’re traveling with a small child who can sleep in a portable crib or pack n’play, one is available for you to use. Please bring your own bedding for it.
The kitchen comes fully equipped for your stay, featuring a gas stove, refrigerator/freezer (no ice maker), microwave, blender, toaster, and both Keurig and drip coffee makers for your morning brew.

Walk to the ocean in less than 5 minutes with deeded beach access right at the end of our quiet, residential street. Salvo’s tranquil, uncrowded beaches are perfect for a long walk, shelling, swimming around the historic shipwreck, or playing fetch with your pup! Anglers will love the local fish market and the bait shop right on the corner.

Start your day with coffee on the deck or wind down with sunset views over the sound. After a day at the beach, enjoy the convenience of our outdoor shower, relax in the hammock, or enjoy a meal on the deck.

You’re perfectly positioned between the Rodanthe Fishing Pier and the dog-friendly Salvo Day Use area which is ideal for kayaking and biking. Local cafes, shops, and restaurants are just a quick bike ride or drive away.
🐶 Pet stays:
We welcome your well-behaved, house trained dogs! (Max 3) Please bring all necessary crates or dog beds, food, toys, bowls, and leash. There is a $20 flat fee per stay.

**Please note this is an absolutely smoke free home. No smoking, cigarettes, cigars, vaping, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes or any other sort of products are to be used anywhere on or in the property. This includes the deck and the underneath area.**
Guest access
You have access to the whole house except for the shed and owners closet.
There is a laundry room, outdoor shower, and hammock underneath you may use. There is also a charcoal grill out by the shed for your use.
Other things to note
IMPORTANT NOTES, PLEASE READ:
1. Included in listing price:
- Bed linens for queen bed (must bring your own queen size linens/blankets for the sofa bed if using)
- 2 standard sets of towels (bath towel, wash cloth, small hair/hand towel). There is laundry on-site if you need to refresh your towels during your stay.
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 roll of toilet paper
- Dish soap (there is no dishwasher in the property)
- Dish towels/ sponges
2. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this property.
3. Smoking and/or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere in the house, on the deck, underneath the house, or anywhere else on the property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vape pens, and other related products.
4. The house is on a residential street with many year-round residents. Please be respectful of all neighbors, their pets, and property. We ask that you observe quiet times of 10pm - 8am.
5. There is a 4 person maximum. No large gatherings or parties are permitted.
6. While we love your furry family members, they are not allowed on the furniture or on the bed. Additional charges and/or cleaning fees beyond the standard pet fee will apply for any damages or broken rules.
7. Trip insurance is recommended as weather and road conditions are unpredictable. We will not issue refunds for weather related emergencies.
