The Wolf Creek Guest Ranch is the perfect place to experience an original log cabin on a private working horse ranch. The cabin was originally built in Arkansas in 1851, carefully taken down and rebuilt into a very comfortable rental. Guests will find this beautiful cabin equipped with air conditioning, heat, a soaking tub, and a huge stone fireplace to enjoy on those winter nights after a day of wine tours, shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities that Fredericksburg has to offer.

The space
The 1851 cabin is one of many properties on the ranch and sleeps up to 3 guests. Upon arrival guests may be greeted by the ranchers goats, Goaty and Rosy. The 2 miniature horses, Moonshine and Smoky and our mini donkey, Bella are also available for guests to pet and love on as well. The 1851 is located on 60+ acres of beautiful Hill Country land that includes a catch and release fishing pond, swimming pool, fire ring and so much more. The cabin is located 11 miles from both Fredericksburg and Kerrville making it the perfect location for a fun day trip to many of the hill country favorites. When you come to the cabin you will sure to enjoy the full length porch overlooking beautiful secluded land, nature and wildlife.
The cabin has a huge stone fireplace in the living room to keep you warm in the winter. The queen bed is upstairs in a loft and the full bed is located in the living area and doubles as a place to relax by the fire.

You will have your own private parking area at the cabin.

Other things to note
You will be sure to enjoy the ranch animals in the Pony Petting Pasture. The miniature horses, Moonshine and Smokey are sure to delight you, as well as the goats, Goaty and Rosie. They love to be pet and brushed.
The shared pool is located behind the ranch house off the circle. The ranch house and patio are a private rental so please go around it to the pool and respect the pool hours of 10am-5pm.

Neighborhood highlights

My favorite walk is down the driveway and on the roads. This is a large ranch community with no thru traffic. Our neighbor to the north has a high fence ranch with lots of exotics from all over the world. You will most likely get to see some of these magnificent animals.

I love my life here on the ranch! My mom and I bought this 61-acre ranch in 2017 to develop into a modern ranch lodging and equestrian facility. The ranch has become a favorite with my family, friends and guests. Since we have opened my daughter and one of my sons has joined me here. They are a great addition to the ranch. I am a Happy Horse Happy Life Master Instructor. I love teaching horse owners how to train their horses naturally and become partners with each other. I also enjoy hosting guests and sharing what we love so much. We love the wildlife, dark skies, views and seclusion the ranch has to offer. I also love providing interaction with my ranch animals, Goaty and Rosy The miniature horses, Rowdy and Smoky are also favorites with our guests.
