This was an amazing stay, our host gave us the royal treatment. Five stars all the way around.

Great location with plenty of space. Because it was shoulder season we spent a little more time in the house and used the kitchen more than we thought. Which was excellent! Grocery stores are reasonable and there is one in the neighborhood. However it is open limited hours in the "green season"...Would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Great great place, check in and check out were so easy. Very well equipped, everything worked and right in the middle of town. Highly recommend it.

Great location in Potrero, walking distance to the beach, lots of local food options (sodas) nearby and they're building a super market just down the road. The surf side market is a five minute drive or 20 minute walk on the beach. Lots of great restaurants on the main drag. Very relaxed and chill place to be but also close enough to a lot of more touristy areas for day trips etc. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed for an extended stay, AC worked great in every room, games for the kids, even extra batteries for headlamps, freezer packs and hard cooler for beach trips, and an extra beer fridge which was very useful. The villa staff were lovely and we felt very safe. The pool and grounds were kept very clean as well. We also met some amazing people who regularly visit this villaggio for months at a time. Already looking at booking for next year. Thank you.

Ilya was super friendly and helpful. He met us at the gate for check-in and showed us around the unit and property. Everything was clean and easy to access. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and a couple min drive into downtown you can find a ton more. The beach is also within walking distance. It’s a calm beach with black sand. Not a lot around there but we had fun with our kids. This place is peaceful and relaxing and has great views of the ocean. Would recommend!

The bed and breakfast inn was close to action but pleasant enough. Did hear a Friday night party from the Main Street which went with the vibe of the town. Beach was literally 3-5 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants. The hosts were very kind, had breakfast at the inn. Cooked to order eggs, fresh melon smoothie, toasts and coffee yum. The place was very clean, looked better than the pictures. Balcony was a sweet spot and only regret was we didn’t pack our tennis shoes. They had a lovely tennis clinic and pickleball lessons that we watched. Overall, two thumbs up. Loved our stay. accommodations very quiet ,great private area. NIce swimming pool PLaya hermossa very quiet beach music done by 830 at night . If your looking for a more active night life playa cocca is a quick bus ride ,or twenty dollar cab ride . Elzbieta is a lovely lady . Was always helpful,pleasant.She made us feel very welcome. There are a few long term tennants at thi s complex, they also made us welcome . It was a wonderful .positive experience to stay at this AIRBNB

Breathtaking view! Location is key! Supermarket and main drag with shops & restaurants just minutes away. The private infinity pool and amazing view through out the home. Regardless of what room you’re in the house the view is spectacular! The host was super responsive and accommodating with any issues that arise. The sounds of nature, sunrise & sunset were breathtaking! Thank you for making our experience an amazing one, we will definitely be back next year!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Colonial in July. The place more than lived up to the picture and reviews. The outdoor common spaces with the pool was a hit every day. Our kids lived in the pool. We enjoyed watching the howler monkeys in the tree next door and the house geckos on the walls every night. It’s definitely outdoor living and can be pretty hot in the common areas but the bedrooms are very cool and the AC works great. Showers work well and beds are comfortable. We were there 3 weeks and cooked a bunch. We loved playa langosta beach sunsets and being a little further out from the touristy tamarindo. It was an easy 10-20 min walk (which can be hot). Best surfing for beginners was 15 to 20 minute walk- or an easy Uber in the rain. So it was nice to rent a golf cart for part of the time. There are great restaurants, close in playa langosta and fun sports bar with pool ping-pong and more just down the block. Very responsive host! Highly recommend.

This was a great place. Right on the beach. Safe, clean. We only stayed 2 nights. I would definitely stay here again. Great if you have a larger group because of the 4 bedrooms and 7 beds.

I had an amazing experience here and Isaiah & Tatiana are amazing hosts! They helped me book an airport transfer from Liberia, helped me with renting a bicycle for local cruising, and with a transfer after completing my stay. They were very responsive with answering my questions, and their place showed a lot of love & care. Totally recommend!

Ideal location, right in the heart of everything in Tamarindo, you call it restaurants, beach, supermarket, coffee shops, gym… The apartment if extremely well kept, surroundings are beautiful. Alexander and Gabriela are very friendly and helpful. Very fast internet for digital nomads. I recommend it to the Airbnb community 100 %

Luanna was a fantastic host.was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was spectacular and looked exactly what the images showed. Super clean and had everything we needed. Very peaceful. As well as an incredible HUGE space. Location was perfect. Close to town and all the restaurants that we went. all good and 100% would recommend staying here. This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Tamarindo.

Beautiful place near a very small town. 15 minutes from the National Park (Rincón de la Vieja). It’s not a big or fancy place, but a good rate, nice little pool, and a short hike to a beautiful local swimming hole on the river. And Jorge was great: helpful (he helped us figure out a problem with the NP reservation), very friendly, and easy to communicate with. We had a great stay (and the NP and area is amazing!)

An exceptional stay! The accommodation was even better than in the photos: impeccably clean, tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The host was remarkably kind and available, always ready to meet my needs. The location is perfect, quiet while being close to everything you need. It was a real favorite, and I can only recommend this place 100%. Can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lois’ place! It comfortably fit 5 adults and 2 teens. Super clean. Beautiful view from front porch. The shuttle was helpful getting down to the beach - but also not necessary. The walk was quick and easy to do. We bought groceries and ate in along with eating out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great location for a trip to Costa Rica! We would definitely stay here again.

Jose is an awesome host and his place is an excellent place to stay in Tamarindo. It’s nice to get away from the busy town, and it’s definitely a bit cooler up on the hill. He gave great suggestions for places to go, and most importantly the best surf breaks to hit depending on the swell. Can’t wait to go back and visit again soon! And can’t forget about Luna, his friendly welcoming pup. Thanks for everything amigo!
