Monthly Rentals in Gruene Historic District

We loved our stay at this Airbnb! The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature, and the friendly neighbors made us feel right at home. The house itself was fantastic. All the amenities worked perfectly, and we especially enjoyed the big screen TV and the washer and dryer. The living room was our favorite spot – spacious, open, and seamlessly connected to the kitchen. The lighting throughout the house was lovely and could be dimmed, which made for cozy evenings. The office room was a great bonus, complete with a nice monitor and a monitor arm, which was very convenient. The 3rd bedroom’s Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable, and we had no issues with the water heater or heating system. We did encounter a minor issue with the guest bathroom, but the owner was incredibly responsive and quick to resolve it, which we really appreciated. Overall, this place was everything we hoped for and more. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone and would love to stay here again!

Quiet neighborhood close to restaurants for a pleasant evening walk. Friendly neighbors. Many good hiking trails within easy drive. We found the residence and amenities just as described. Would stay again.

This was our 3rd stay in Lynda and Marks little historic cottage. We love the wildlife in the neighborhood and right in the yard. Downtown New Braunfels is walking distance from the cottage. Lots of restaurants and shops downtown. We spend a lot of time at our son’s about 10 minutes away but then can come back to our favorite little cottage. This area has a lot to offer. We’ll be back again next year!

We enjoyed staying at Marc's lovely, cozy cottage in Gruene for a month! It was very comfortable for the 2 of us and our small dog, and we were thankful for the large, fully fenced back yard and covered patio. We appreciated the comfy furnishings, linens, and pillows. We were happy to have a well stocked kitchen with dishwasher, large shower, and washer and dryer. Marc was a great host, helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
