I recently stayed at this amazing Airbnb and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The hosts were absolutely fantastic—kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, even recommending a stunning restaurant that became the highlight of my trip. The accommodation itself was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located, making it easy to explore the area. I truly felt at home and can’t wait to return. We were searching for something compact and located in a quiet neighbourhood. This apartment delivered, a few short steps from the heart of the town, the piazza, a hub of activity. Every day we had the choice of a different cafe for our coffee and cornetto. The train was close by and only 30 minutes into Florence. Lots of lovely local shops, a supermarket all in the historic centre of Figline. We loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter break in Tuscany and the only choice for us was this exceptional villa that we’ve been following the restoration of on social media for some time now. The work done here is really excellent. The interiors feel classic and charming, whilst being clean and surprisingly cosy despite the large size. The exteriors and parkland were just as we’d hoped. One thing we weren’t expecting is how inside the villa has been modernised with lots of “smart home” tech. It’s also the little details that will never get picked up by photos or videos but the owners have done anyway, like charging stations on each bedside table, or the lovely welcome hamper, which made us feel well looked after. Another point I must mention is location! It was a relief that the villa is ideal for reaching both Florence and Chianti with ease! There is a lovely nearby town with plenty to do in the area. I stayed at Mario's place for 4 weeks and had a wonderful time. The "barn" is tastefully furnished and has everything you need (kitchen/bath). Furthermore the little house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with great views of the nearby mountains. Since I stayed a little longer it was very convenient that I could use the well functioning washing machine. Apart from that it was a big plus that the heating worked perfectly well, since during my stay the temperature during the nights was quite low. With regard to activities you can reach most trailheads (if you like to hike) within 15-30 minutes by car. If you're interested in city trips, Arezzo, Florence, Siena etc. can also be easily reached by car or train (from Montevarchi). Last but not least, Mario and his wife are very kind and helpful hosts. They live on the same property so that you can always reach out to them.
