Vacation rentals in Griswold

Second time renting this house. Great location, host and house for a country getaway. The house accommodates everyone, and has many activities onsite - game room, theater room, fishing, pontoon, fire pit, and a great pond if you have kayaks or able boards.

We had a very lovely stay by Panorama Lake. The house is situated above the lake on a bit of a hill, allowing the deck a gorgeous view of the lake. Even though the water was chilly, we were able to use their water equipment, and the hot tub was a welcome warm up afterwards. Kelsey was very helpful and responsive, and the place was big enough for our party of 12.

This was a large beautiful home with a ton of character. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay together as a family instead of at a hotel so we could hang out after putting the kids to bed. This was an awesome house for our situation, having tons of beds/upstairs bedrooms. We were able to fit our entire family and separate the kids from the noise on the main level! We were so grateful to find this place that fit our needs perfectly. It was a very well taken care of place and made our stay work out perfectly!

We loved this home. The location was great, and very safe and quiet. We had a great time playing with the games that were available to us. Next time we are coming to the area, we would love to book this again!

Bobby was a wonderful host, very friendly and had great stories. The place was nice, comfortable and clean. Bobby was very responsive to any of our needs and very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying there if in that area and if we go back to iowa will be staying with bobby again.

Amber went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her 100 year+ home is in a historic district of Council Bluffs adjacent to the Gilbralter Neighborhood Trailhead. Several of our family members took advantage of its proximity and went hiking during our visit. Her home is a mix of old and new - 19th and early 20th century craftsmanship, such as a beautiful central staircase, combined with 21st century technology such as WiFi, and numerous televisions throughout the expansive home. Fun amenities include a pinball machine and a treadmill for exercise. My family especially enjoyed competing on the pinball machine. Amber’s home was stocked with all sorts of treats ranging from muffins to a charcuterie tray. Whenever we had a question either about something in the home or some activity in the area, Amber was very quick to respond. I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rental properties. This one stands out in all the right ways. I would definitely recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lakefront property, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. The home boasts a breathtaking view of the lake, offering a serene and picturesque setting that is perfect for unwinding. Its location is also ideal—conveniently close to both the airport and downtown, making it easy to access local attractions while still enjoying the peace and tranquility of a secluded lakeside retreat. The house itself was immaculately clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It was fully prepared for our arrival, and we experienced no issues throughout the entire weekend. The quiet, beautiful surroundings combined with the comfort and functionality of the home made for a truly enjoyable stay.
