Had a great time staying here with family for the weekend. Very private, but only a short drive to a grocery store. Beautiful view out of the front. Hot tub and fire pit were much enjoyed. Responsive host, very helpful. Would stay here again!

We headed to the Noridc Cabin for a late-January getaway, and we had a wonderful time. The mountain-woods setting was exactly what we were hoping for. Strolling around the roads was a delight. The house itself was cozy and comfy. Winter hot-tubbing was also a real plus.

This was a beautiful cabin! My girlfriend and I stayed here in order to visit Snowshoe mountain. Activities on the mountain ended up being a bust, so we spent a majority of our time at this cabin and it made our trip wonderful. The hot tub is great and the view from the bedroom deck is beautiful. The house was spotless and very cozy. If we ever visit again, we will definitely stay at this cabin!

Couldn’t ask for more. Josh and Joan’s place was perfect for our 3 night getaway. They were so quick to respond as the trip neared and the area was getting hit with weather. The cabin was clean, beautiful and relaxing. Could have stayed forever!

Andi and Billy's Riverside Retreat was the perfect location for a peaceful weekend away! The cabin has thoughtful touches in decor throughout and is truly better than the pictures can depict. It is right on the river and is completely quiet and private. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the cabin was well laid out and spacious. It had everything we could want for cooking and lounging. It is a short drive to Elkins from the cabin. For nearby drinks, I recommend checking out The Crossing Coffee Bar, which is inside a very charming local shop and across the street from the Railroad history museum. I also recommend stopping by Big Timber Brewing Company, which has excellent beers. Amazing activities nearby included a trip to Brickle Knob, hiking up Seneca Rocks Trail, and checking out Blackwater Falls. I would absolutely stay at Andi and Billy's place again.

Perfect spot for a cozy trip in the mountains! We stayed dry and warm during an especially rainy/snowy weekend. The space was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. We were even surprised with a bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day and a collection of toys for our pup.

It’s great location on the Shavers Fork river is a trout fisherman’s dream… we went as a group of 3 and really enjoyed our time in Bemis over the weekend… thank you Abby for letting us enjoy your little cabin…

this was our fourth time staying at Sally and John's cabin, and as usual we felt right at home curling up by the fire. We appreciated that since we've last been at the cabin they upgraded the heater in the bedroom (definitely helpful as it got very cold out second night!) and added a full bed in the upstairs loft (a great place to sleep, including a nearby outlet, if you're too hot). We love coming here and would love to come back! 😃

This was in my top 2 relaxing, peaceful stays I've ever had. The property is beautiful, we woke up to horses right outside every morning. sometimes they seemed to be excited to see us and would come right up to us and would let us pet them. We cooked all our meals there, kitchen was well equiped and they had a grill. The firepit gave us that camping feel. we did take out dog and that was great as well, the property was secluded and we were able to let the dog roam a bit. My husband already wants to go back and our dog whimpered a while when we left, dhe wanted to stay. We will be back!

Great place to get away and enjoy nature while having modern comforts! This place exceeded my expectations. Loved the holiday decorations and the personal touches that made it feel like home. Notes: They have a hard water softener, which makes the water taste metallic, so bring bottled water or a water filter. Also, it is secluded from major stores, so be sure to bring all your supplies with you.

Absolutely beautiful place! Loved every second of it! Very peaceful! Perfect for getting away from the everyday hustle! It was exactly what we needed!

Absolutely beautiful property! Very private, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the trails with our dog and since we had mostly rain, relaxing in front of the fireplace reading and listening to music. We did venture out to walk the Chessie Trail, see the Natural Bridge, cross the James River on the footbridge, and check out Lexington downtown area. Would love to come back in another season. Thanks for being pet friendly!

My husband & I had a wonderful time staying at this adorable cabin. Everything was immaculate upon our arrival & it had all the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay. Great location to relax & unwind in nature while still being a reasonable distance from gas & groceries. The host was friendly, informative, & responsive. Overall awesome experience, would recommend it!

Cloverdale cabin really is a gem tucked away in the mountains. I've stayed in several mountain cabins and I think Cindy's is my favorite so far. Super clean, smelled nice right as you walk in, tastefully decorated including Christmas trees as it was the weekend after Christmas when we stayed. Very cozy and peaceful place and will come back again. Thanks Cindy!

Place was very clean, beautiful and historical, one of the best cabins we’ve ever stayed in. Would Highly Recommend. The hot tub was a plus!! The host was great and very responsive.

This place was wonderful! The air bnb is a very beautiful, unique and fun historical home! Janeen was very accommodating and very responsive! The air bnb is stocked with everything you could possibly need! The back porch over looking the river was my favorite spot! Very peaceful and serene! I loved this place and would definitely stay again.

We had our bachelor weekend ski trip at this cabin. Getting up the road was a fun adventure and when we reached the top we were floored by the stunning view and the picturesque cabin. Everything was top notch, the amenities were great, the decor, even the sheets were amazing. Our whole party of 7 couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved this spot. I can’t wait to bring my wife and kids here! Thanks so much to Merry Jo for making our weekend that much better.

This cozy cabin was perfect for my family of 5 kids! We came to go skiing for the first time at snowshoe and the cabin was a perfect private retreat for family time, games, and a hot tub for aches and pains from skiing! Super clean, cozy and we had everything needed including laundry detergent we forgot! Filtered cold water tower was extra nice for all our yeti refills! We were party of 7 but 10 can sleep comfortably, plus two full baths! Crockpot, two types of coffee makers, toaster, all cooking utensils needed for big breakfasts and convenient supper! Victoria was very nice and provided us with all the info we needed. The cabin is gorgeous as well the scenery around it. 10/10

Situated in a private peaceful location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal to include coffee/tea, coffee filters, storage bags, foil, oil and S&P and other spices. Large BR downstairs with a comfortable King size bed and large screen TV. One king size bed and two twin beds located in loft area with dark steep narrow stairs leading up to them. Floor is very old and squeaky up there as well. Large bathroom but no area to keep your toiletries (a small table or shelf area would be a nice addition). I really didn't care for the heated toilet seat as it leaves you with a wet butt. Cabin is very old and a bit dark and dreary but relatively clean except for a few cobwebs hanging from lighting. Outside area a bit overgrown with no clear path to reach water for fishing although there is a beautiful view of Shaver's Fork from the deck, outdoor seating/eating area, a nice big hot tub and fire pit area. Quick response from owner to questions.
