My stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly welcoming, and responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The location was perfect—close to all amenities, yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the space feel like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay!

My sister and I stayed in this beautiful cottage in the heart of St Albans for a long weekend to visit family who live in the area. Perfect location, close to the lovely town, cathedral etc yet wonderfully peaceful and quiet. We also visited London for a day and transport links were excellent. Leon is an extremely accommodating and responsive host. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend away. opened the door on the saturday morning to a view of a rainbow stretching over the fields. place was very clean and well looked after. short drive into Bedford for a walk around the shops and the local museum and gallery. will be booking in again asap!

Booked an overnight stay to relax after half marathon. Comfortable and cozy. Perfect. S’mores in the evening around the fire. Charlotte was very responsive and even organised an early check in. Booked the night before and the accommodation was clean and tidy. Hamper was nice little touch

Delightful situation on the quayside with all the Thames Barges and view across the river and estuary. Perfect for an early morning walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My family and I wanted a large, sociable and peaceful space to be together for the weekend when we were celebrating the lives of our Mum and Dad/Nan and Grandad, and scattering their ashes. The Old School House fully met our needs. It’s a great space for families to come together, had all the home comforts you need and the bonus of a beautiful log fire and fantastic views. Ian was a perfect host - informative, proactive, friendly and not intrusive at a sensitive time. The large kitchen and dining space was great for family mealtimes. The bedrooms catered for us all including young children. Whilst there is only one shower, we organised ourselves so it wasn’t a problem. Two of us also had a lovely long bath in the beautiful bath tub. The village is lovely. Some of the family enjoyed local ales at the pub and we all enjoyed a walk and playing with the children at the local play area. Thanks Ian for a lovely stay.

Esther is a fantastic host, really responsive and helpful. We were lucky enough to stay at both Hour cottage and Time cottage. Both are absolutely beautiful, exactly as described, really comfortable, spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Lavenham is a very pretty place with loads of dog walks on the doorstep and plenty of good pubs and places to explore. We had a great weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Esther and her stunning cottages.
