Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Grand Union Canal

My hostess was Jane, James' mother. She was absolutely lovely and made me feel completely at home. The manor house is full of history and has been lovingly restored by Jane and her late husband. Jane is a font of knowledge on the history of the house of which she is rightly proud. The gardens are beautiful, containing many rare species and in June must be spectacular with the roses in full bloom. I was lucky enough to be able to watch an amazing play about Shakespeare's women in the Manor barn as Jane's guest during my stay. The village itself is also beautiful, with a local pub just a short stroll away and an award winning pub in a neigbouring village 5 mins drive or 40 mins walk.

Me and my daughter really loved our stay. Shame it was only for 1 night. It was a short notice booking and Beverly was flexible about our check in time. We really had the best sleep on the comfiest bed . The house is full of charm and both of them made us feel so welcome oh and not forgetting the gorgeous Florence the doodle. I enjoyed having breakfast and having a chat with Beverly. We would definitely go back next time I’m in Moulton.

I needed a place to stay as I was working at a local running event nearby with my daughter. Dawn and her family welcomed us and were very attentive. I’m gutted we didn’t have more time to spend with them as it was almost a flying visit and they were very kind and offered us various snacks etc. We highly recommend staying at their place and would not hesitate booking again when in Bedford. Just stayed with Gail and little Max in her cozy and warm home. This lady has the proper sense of welcoming guests, from tasteful handmade treats to really nice conversations, to useful tips and advice. I also loved the premises , from perfect mattress to fluffy duvet, squeaky wooden floor, huge and sunny bathroom, comfortable armchair, soft sofa, well kept little garden with apple tree and flowers. Kamna and Chris were excellent hosts! From my arrival to the end of my stay, they really made me feel welcome and comfortable in their home. The room was large and well-furnished, the bathroom was clean, and breakfasts were delicious. As a student moving to Oxford, I could not have found a better place to land before moving into my permanent residence - I greatly enjoyed my conversations with them, they had great advice on living in Oxford, and their pets are adorable.

Simply idyllic countryside village, the Old School brings back memories of childhood days and Sall-Anne is its caring Head Mistress. My 11-year-old son loved it, which says everything.

The hosts were very kind and welcoming during my stay! I was not around often as I had a full conference day, but they provided anything I could possibly need and communicated well, despite issues I had with my own technology as I travelled.

This place is the best Airbnb we have stayed in. Liza pays attention to detail. The breakfast choices are amazing, and she effortlessly caters to your requests. Honestly, it matches a 5-star hotel. You need to go there to experience it. We loved the peacefulness and how civil it was. It's not for noisy guests, but for those seeking tranquility and relaxation. We highly recommend this place. Best ever!

My son and I stayed here for this year’s British Grand Prix. We could catch the shuttle bus from Whittlebury Park so it meant we could get to the track without using the car. Rebecca and Chris were great hosts, made us feel very welcome and we felt like nothing was too much trouble. They leant us a couple of items that we had forgotten. We’d definitely stay again if we ever get the chance to go back to the Grand Prix!

The hosts, Christine and Gary, are the nicest and most helpful hosts you can imagine. The house and apartment are just beautiful, tasteful and freshly renovated. Breakfast is excellent with home baked bread, fresh fruits and everything you wish for. Though it is a bit of the City Centre, you can easily get there by bus directly and your hosts are even helpful with commuting difficulties. A quiet and homely place. I strongly recommend this excellent B & B.

We had a delightful stay with Peronel. She was very kind and welcoming. She gave us good advice on getting to her home and on restaurants. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with delicious whole wheat bread. We highly recommend that others stay with her.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of this quaint cottage box village. The hosts were very welcoming and our room was clean with what looked to be a recently installed ensuite. Good gin selection too :-)
