The Granary at Crooked Creek Ranch

TudorRating, 5 stars55 months ago
We had a wonderful stay. Pam and her husband were charming. We were pleasantly surprised after having read some of the previous reviews. The two houses are not lavishly furnished, but they were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A/c would be nice, but we did ok with the fans. There are a lot of bugs in Michigan, so the screens on the windows and doors were a must—we were careful to keep them closed, and were fine. The property is expansive. I enjoyed walking around and pick apples from the untended trees. Made a fantastic apple pie with them. We rented kayaks from the bike shop in Suttons Bay and paddled around the lake! Bought wood for $5 and made s’mores in the fire pit. Drove to the dunes and hiked. Visited friends in Northport and the town of Leland. Made some great dinners in the kitchen. I could go on and on...

Charming Apartment with beautiful view.

Jan-AndreasRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Brenda and Jim’s place is great if you are in the area as it’s very quiet and private, beautiful surroundings and not too far from TC or the Frankfort area. We spent the weekend for the local Ironman and it was the right choice. You get all the rest you need and are close enough to both the race venue and some other small towns with nice places to eat and chill. The property was very clean, well organized and really spacious. I’d totally recommend it.

Leelanau Peninsula Orchard House

VictoriaRating, 5 stars53 months ago
The house is situated in an absolutely gorgeous setting surrounded by beautiful orchards. There were two apple trees in full bloom right in front of the property! The Fall colors were at their peak during our stay, and the views from every window of the house were just spectacular. We loved every single detail inside the house, from the candles on the chimney and the textiles in every room, to the very well stocked kitchen (where we even found a cake stand for a birthday bundt cake we baked) and impeccably decorated corners and tables. We loved the antique finds in every bedroom as well, as well as the farm sinks and beautiful faucets that felt right out of Downton Abbey. Meghan gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do in the surroundings, and was very easy to communicate with. We would love to return to the Orchard House, perhaps next time during the Summer.

rustic modern free standing studio on 15 acres

PeggyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Abundant Heavenly Views! Saw so many shooting stars in the big night sky. Fun as we travelled to different very unique buildings for our needs…1. Cozy little barn-like sleeping quarters beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bedding. 2. bathroom building so unique with rain shower inside (and outside shower too), nice big farm-style sink & fresh towels 3. Unique kitchen/gathering barn w/great sitting area to enjoy morning and dinner table. Minimalist kitchen w/everything you need to cook a complete meal! We grilled burgers on outdoor charcoal grill! Had a bonfire at night which wood was provided! Had so much fun here with my grandkids and family!

The Farmhouse at JA! Farms

AngelaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The home and surrounding land were wonderful. It is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed having a fire inside many nights and also outside. Wood was available and easy to access. The kitchen has everything one would need and all the space you could ask for. Bed was comfortable. Bathrooms clean and fully functional. Washer and dryer worked perfectly. The home has many of the owners designs and we enjoyed the vibe. It’s close to town but secluded as well. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Cozy Leelanau County Farmhouse

JanelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is our first time staying Up North in the winter and it won’t be our last! Planning a trip with our best friends—where each family rented a cottage next door to each other—was the perfect weekend getaway!!! The cottage was cozy and warm with a roaring fire in the wood stove when we got back from skiing at the Homestead (just fifteen minutes away!) and to top it off, we walked across the yard to sit in a bubbling hot tub with our friends to soak the night away. Melissa was incredibly responsive and left the sweetest welcome package when we arrived, plus the cottage was so cute and so clean! We will absolutely be back this summer—spending time here for a whole week would be a DREAM. We can’t stop talking about this place—we’d recommend it to anyone who wanted to escape downstate for a weekend away.

Serenity Shack

A little gem along M22… great location between Northport & Leland. Great trails to walk or run about 400m down the road. The carriage had everything one could need… kitchen well stocked, fresh towels, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds… they didn’t miss a beat when thinking about their guests:) My 2 kiddos loved it too-for a quick 2/3 day stay. Thank you!

Farmstead | A farm stay on the Leelanau Peninsula

MikeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fantastic house and property! We were here in February for a long weekend and the house was perfect. It snowed several inches and this was the best place to curl up by the wood stove with a book, explore the property with our dog, and play games with the kids. One of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed at and every thing was just as pictured. Location is great - short drive to Northport, Suttons Bay, and even Glen Arbor for an afternoon of skiing. Cannot recommend enough!

Lavender Farm Bed & Breakfast at Luna Rosa Farms

KanoeRating, 5 stars6 months ago
There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible our stay at Luna Rosa was for an entire weekend. For starters, Fernando and Arminda are the absolute best hosts we have ever met. The property, the entire bed and breakfast, the views, the area surrounding, it's all absolutely gorgeous and incomparable. But the best part is truly the experience of staying with such amazing hosts - and the BREAKFAST?! Unreal. We rented the entire home, all four rooms, and had our best friends stay with us while at Luna Rosa as we had our wedding up north and celebrated all weekend. We truly could not have found a more perfect place to call home the whole weekend of our wedding. Truly if you have come across this Bed and Breakfast and are thinking of booking - this is your sign to BOOK IT! It will absolutely exceed all of your expectations in every way. It's such a special, special place and such a gem in Leelanau County. 1000/10.

1974 Airstream Argosy in the ol’ Woodcutter’s Lot

MahmoudRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Tim and Curt are seriously the sweetest and most accommodating hosts I’ve ever had in Traverse City. My girlfriend and I took a visit up to Camp Dubonett for our one year anniversary and it was everything we had hoped it would be! Their property is gorgeous; especially in the Fall with the leaves changing colors and the friendly animals roaming around their space in and around the barn. They gave us plenty of great local recommendations to check out and even offered discounts at some of their recommended spots. We stayed in the Airstream, which was a really cool experience and was so tidy and clean when we first arrived. They had even prepared us a welcome basket with a smores kit which was perfect to use with the fire pit just outside of the RV. They also accommodated our late arrival due to the traffic we faced on the way from metro Detroit which was really nice of them to do. It truly was such a wholesome and peaceful experience and we would definitely love to return one day!

Vineyard Views House & Guest House, Suttons Bay

LisaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Mercedes was such a warm and responsive host. Her husband met us and gave us a tour and some history about the property, upon check-in, which was so interesting. The property itself is stunning and the perfect place to unwind and connect with the gorgeous natural beauty of their surroundings. It is adjacent to a winery and allows for nature walks and has a lovely viewing ridge to star gaze at night, and in our case, watch the northern lights. The house is historic, beautiful, well stocked with all of the essentials and has plenty of sleeping accommodations. The beds were comfortable and the attention to detail of the guests needs were noticeable and appreciated. I can’t say enough about this property. It truly was a treat to stay there. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful country setting close to it all! Pets OK

JustinRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Rachels Farmhouse couldn’t have been a better backdrop for our Annual golf trip. Multiple entertaining spaces and living areas with a wonderful porch and hotutb made this a great stay. The setting is only 2o mins from airport and things to do. Nearby Casino was a plus. Setting is quiet, idyllic and private. Rachel is the best host. Very responsive. Helped me shipped many boxes to the house for the trip and communicated very responsively. Would recommend 10/10 and stay here again.

Serene and Clean! Near beaches and wineries!

LindsayRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The home was very spacious for our group of 5. We did struggle to find Ubers and Lyfts and taxis seem to book up quickly so we would suggest planning rides in advance. Other than that we couldn’t have asked for a better space and location for our trip! Annemarie is a great host and kept us informed and up to date throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend!

EricRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Our stay an Anne’s place was great! Very well appointed and charming decor. Kitchen had anything/everything for cooking. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. Location is close to so many things to do including Traverse City, Sutton’s Bay, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Glen Arbor, and of course Lake Michigan. Was a great spot and a great vacation!

BuckWild Farm Stay

Jordan & KristinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Sharon and Dave are the sweetest people ever. They were very responsive and contacted me to give me details on how to find the house. They helped us when we got stuck in the snow 🤦‍♀️ And they were so so sweet to our kids. They gave our kids some sleds to use on the hills, showed us around the farm, let us meet the animals, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was cozy and clean. There was an abundance of toys and games for the kids, which was awesome! They even went above and beyond and delivered hot, fresh baked muffins Sunday morning. We can't wait to visit again in warmer months so we can do even more! Thanks Dave and Sharon for being amazing hosts.
