Family-friendly vacation rentals in Golden

Great location for our family winter/ski trip. Walking distance to bus stop to Winter Park. Walking distance to the sledding hill and Fraser River Trail access is out the front door. Great condo for a family with small children- games and puzzles for little ones, kitchenware for kids, and interior bedroom with no window for daytime naps. Heated pool and hot tub access as extra amenities. Perfect stay for a young family! Clean condo. Pictures are accurate. Highly recommend for a great condo in a walkable location close to Winter Park resort.

As a host, Dennis was great. The only area of concern was the lack of full baths.

Smooth sailing at Anna and Mathew's. Very clean home, attractive amenities, and a strong west side location. All of us in the party agreed we would look forward to coming back.

We took our daughter on a University of Colorado Boulder tour. The house was the perfect location as a jumping point for snowboarding and visiting the school. The house itself was the perfect vibe, and is actually one the reasons she now wants to attend Boulder - ha. I just have to let her know the dorms wont look like this. Great location, unbelievable house and gracious host.

The property is beautiful, quiet, remote. The snow was beautiful, the quiet was refreshing. *disclaimer though there are no consistent ubers lyfts, or usual fast food options in the area it is very secluded so go prepared but it is worth everything and the host are great responsive and helpful. Highly recommend

Roberts cabin is awesome, really good location and very spacious. Hot tub and ping pong table were awesome amenities to have.

We had good time in the house. Very clean and spacious. The parking on side of the house was a better choice than the heated parking in the basement especially in summer.

This place was fantastic! The house was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The purple line picked us up so close to the house that it made skiing a breeze. Would highly recommend this place and may be back in the future!

This house was a great place to stay in Denver; the neighborhood was quiet and close to parks, groceries and other places of interest. It was larger than we expected from the photos. We have family in Denver and were able to gather at the house for some meals and games. Darrow provided plenty of paper goods to start with and left notes with instructions for various amenities. I hope we can stay here again when our family gathers in the city.

My stays here have always been enjoyable, as the home is so clean and bright, and the hosts so welcoming. The location is nice and convenient, as shops and restaurants are nearby, and the freeway is relatively close. Dianne and John set out a few holiday decorations, so the apartment felt festive. My 24 night stay was wonderful, and I look forward to returning.

Great place in a good location. Quick Uber or scooter ride to downtown. Kat was very helpful and responsive. Very satisfied.

Enjoyed our stay in Idaho Springs. The home was right on the she of downtown so it was nice and quiet but easily walkable to shops and restaurants (though weather dependent). House was really lovely, beautiful artwork, nice furniture, and cozy. Had some trouble checking in but Susan responded with minutes and we got in very quickly! Highly recommend Susan's home if you're looking to stay in Idaho Springs!

This apartment is quite large with a bedroom upstairs and downstairs, small kitchen open to living room with a fireplace. Lots of light throughout. Daniel had so many amenities and thoughtful touches, even left us homemade cookies at our door on Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the holiday there with our children and were able to create a nice Thanksgiving dinner with almost everything available in the well-equipped kitchen.

Amazing stay! Paula and Charlie were such delightful hosts! Probably one of best Airbnb’s I have stayed at thus far! Sooo many personal touches she added that made the stay so comfortable! Will be back!

Mario’s house was perfect for our group in town for the National Western Stock Show. Comfortably slept all of our group, close to the stock yard and tons of different eatery options in close proximity. We arrived early to get ahead of weather and Mario made it so we could check in a day early. Great spot, thank you Mario!

This house was everything we needed for a party of six. The hangout space was open and comfortable, and there were multiple tables - one for dining, and one for gaming. We loved how many towels there were and we especially loved the York peppermint patties! The location was great. Just steps away from the downtown area, and a short drive to Loveland ski area.

The place was everything she said and more the only downside to staying here was i had to smell her delicious cooking and couldn't have any hahha, everything was labeled n in order very organized, clean, and noise wasn't an issue at all while staying there. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone coming to the Denver area.

We didn’t spend much time at the Carriage House, we primarily used it for sleeping because we had relatives in town. When we were at the Carriage House for a leisurely moment we were comfortable and didn’t feel restrained. We notice an interesting selection of books to read and plenty of board games. We would stay again.

This is a very nice house. The kitchen was super-stocked with dishes, pans, etc. The house was nice--it has three temperature zones, probably for necessity, but this was convenient for us. We had Thanksgiving dinner with family and the kitchen/dining was very good. The area is "Boulder" so there are restaurants, bike trails, amenities. The hosts were communicative and the instructions for the house were clear. We would do this again.

Such a great and convenient location. Easy walk to Mines and Golden. The apartment is super cute and has everything you need. The walls are a little thin; you can hear walking and chairs moving in other units. But for the most part it’s not terribly loud. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Perfect place for my work trip. Lynn was super easy to work with and the place had all needed and great location. We even made it work for my colleague too.

It’s our third time staying at John’s place, the first on this unit. The location is unbeatable as it is walking distance to Sloan’s lake and a bunch of restaurants. Will stay here again when I get back to Denver.
