Fabulous little break! We were here right over storm Bert, and can’t imagine a cosier little spot to ride out a storm! Took advantage of the books and jigsaw puzzles provided and just completely chilled out. Beautiful cabin, very responsive host, stunning surroundings. Not sure what else you could ask for!

Cefn Bach is a delightful little cottage on Richard and Mai's property, with another holiday cottage next door. Richard and Mai are 'on site' but are completely respectful of their guests' privacy. However, they are quick to answer any questions or issues that you may have. They're lovely hosts, who are clearly passionate about this area of Wales. The TouchStay guide you are sent once you've booked is brilliant, full of all the information you need. It was a mild week while we were there so we didn't feel the need to use the fire much. The cottage is very well heated so we were always warm. It was well furnished, and the games room was particularly appreciated by our sons (equipment provided, plus footballs, cricket set, skipping ropes, etc). We enjoyed exploring some walks along the Llangollen canal, especially walking across the Chirk aqueduct (quite a sight, with the railway viaduct running above it), and had a brilliant day at Chirk Castle (NT).

First ever stay over in Llangollen and it won’t be our last. Fabulous host quick response to any questions. Ideally equipped with everything you could possibly need. Absolutely spotless lovely big comfortable bed. Such a lovely welcoming touch with a sponge cake and bar of chocolate left out for us. Only a five minute walk to an array of wonderful restaurants pubs and cafes. Would 100 % recommend a visit. Will be back again next year . Thanks James for a memorable experience 👍

What a lovely little cottage that was tastefully decorated. The fireplace warmed it up beautifully. It had snowed prior to our arriving and Nick made sure we choose the safest route to travel on. His friendliness added to our welcome. Our stay was filled with warm memories and I would definitely recommend it.
