Monthly Rentals in Gloversville

I wish I could leave a 10-star review -- five for the guesthouse and location, and five for the hosts. Hubby and I decided we wanted to spend Valentine's Day in "true" February weather, not the unseasonable warmth of NC. Starhaven did not disappoint! We arrived to approx. 6 inches of snow, and Jeff and Dawn shoveling out the walk to the cottage. They graciously helped us carry in our luggage, and then Jeff gave us the tour of the home. It was spotless, cozy and inviting. The hosts thought of everything (fully equipped kitchen incl. coffees/teas and spices, extra linens and bedding, and extra toiletries), and we couldn't have been more comfortable if we had been in our own home. Jeff and Dawn went above and beyond what we expected. Jeff even scraped ice from our car windshield and parked our vehicle for easier travel the night before we left. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay or hosts, and we can't wait to return to Starhaven to experience its beauty in another season.

We stayed at Alexandra's place for a few nights . The apartment is cozy and welcoming, very clean, with great art on the walls and good books on the shelves. Alexandra was very responsive and nice - she lent us her snowshoes, told us to park in her garage during the snowstorm to avoid being snowed in , offered good suggestions for local places to eat.

We will definitely be back. This home is perfect! Extremely clean, nicely decorated, & great attention to detail!

Deana was super responsive from day 1. We had an extended stay and we needed something that wasn’t initially included in the listing. Deana helped in assisting us with what was needed right away. Excellent host and would highly recommend. If you are a traveling nurse or in law enforcement needing an extended stay. Deana’s place is ideal!
