Absolutely lovely place. My second time here and it is just perfect. Amenities are top tier with clear instructions - we booked the games barn extra and had a lovely night playing games and making pizzas in the pizza oven. The house is extremely homely and cosy, with plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub and sauna are great. Love the animals in the garden. Lovely location for gentle walks and pub just over the road or a nice walk into the next village. Well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen including some little treats, and even robes, extra towels, toiletries and flip flops etc. Really excellent home & hosts. Thanks very much!

Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

We had a fantastic midweek break here as a base for visiting family in Northampton. Caravan was perfect for us very well equipped, comfy beds and spacious. Excellent hosts communicated throughout and thank you for the welcome hamper. Great location with loads of walks on site and surrounding. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Good location for Derby and National Trust properties. Very quiet. Cosy bungalow with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you Suki and Jas. Little pointer. Press quite hard on the numbers of the key lock to release. We were a little to gentle at first and took ages to get the key🤣

Lucy was great - always responsive and helpful/clear with instructions. The place itself was fantastic, I was there with my wife, brother and some friends over New Year, and we were very comfortable. We had our dogs as well, who loved the garden! (Though note that the garden is not fully enclosed). We had a wonderful time - thanks Lucy!

What a little gem. Wonderful hosts, super friendly and kind. Being right next to the farm was great and my 4yr old really enjoyed the hot tub and having the chickens there, so much so whenever we suggested going off-site she just wanted to stay! Normally we like a key safe and never to see a host, but these guys have the balance just perfect of being around and friendly but giving you space. The cabin was the perfect retreat for our little family and the village is great with all amenities too.

This beautifully decorated cottage in the picturesque village of church Langton was our home for 3 days. Myself, husband and cockapoo had a wonderful Easter break catching up with the family here. The cottage was stunning and had everything we needed & the tea, milk and biscuits upon arrival was a thoughtful touch . Highly recommend and hope to return in the future. Thank you !!

My wife and I had a rare weekend end away from the kids and this was just perfect. We loved it, the atmosphere of the place, the amenities provided, we very much enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. It has so much to do there, tons of games and thoughtful things provided. We are going to come back in the summer but bring the kids with us. They will just love the water, the games, exploring the woods and the fishing nets. Thank you for a wonderful break.

A real home away from home :-) The hosts are really friendly, approachable and helpful. The location is so quiet, with breathtaking views. The property was spotlessly clean (which is so important in the current climate), with comfortable furniture and all the amenities you could need. Seeing the animals on the farm was a constant source of joy.

Gorgeous, peaceful scenery. Spotless Cabin interior which was decorated wonderfully. Hot Tub was fantasic! 10/10 would recommend for a peacful staycation to relax away the stress! We will be coming back as we kept saying we wish we just lived there :)

The place was so amazing, the bedrooms are big enough, the house was clean, all house appliances did work well nothing to complain about, the WiFi speed was great, one of the best airbnb accommodation so far, Tracey and her husband were so helpful and responsive, will definitely recommend it for others and we shall book it again.

James was a very good and responsive host. Communication, directions etc. were spot on! The house was great. There were 6 of us in total - all adults. We did have a problem with a blocked toilet but James had this fixed quickly. There are 3 toilets in total so not a big problem. One star lost on cleanliness rating. On arrival there were crumbs across the dining table and a tea cup stain which we wiped away. Also, could have done with a towel in the downstairs bathroom. We also only had 1 tea towel which was done very quickly. We borrowed from family. Also, a lack of extra pillows meant we had to borrow cushions from the sofas. All very minor problems. I still felt it was value for money and would certainly book again next time we visit family in Nottingham
