Family-friendly vacation rentals in Glastonbury

The apartment is really central to all the sites, shops, restaurants etc and less than a 10 min easy walk from the station. We found the beds really comfortable and the apartment was both spotless and spacious. The hot tub was a welcome bonus at the end of the day & the fairy lights made it feel even more relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

We stayed at Ed’s place for two nights over the weekend and it was everything we needed and more. Set in an idyllic peaceful location, we had a huge field to ourselves which was extremely quiet where we heard nothing but birds and nature during our stay. The dog loved it! We asked for the hot tub to be lit for arrival which was a perfect end to the afternoon of travel. We stopped off at Waitrose on the way to stock up for the weekend and on the Saturday drove 30mins to bath which had beautiful restaurants and pubs. The cabin was fully equipped with everything needed, the robes were a great touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, keep windows closed to keep spiders out! Thank you to Edward and Carleen for a lovely and relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the stables. We only had two nights here but they were lovely. The location is beautiful and surrounded by countryside however it is very close to bath city centre only a ten minute drive, so it was a perfect location for us. The stables were beautiful inside, it was equip with everything that we needed. It was very clean and looked just like the pictures. We really enjoyed being able to use the hot tub too which was one of the things that stood out to us when booking. Nancy was really quick to reply if we had any questions or problems which was really nice. She also gave us clear instructions of how to get into the property and where to park etc which was really helpful. We would definitely recommend the stables to anyone who is looking to stay in bath!

Kate was a fantastic host. The accommodation had everything we could need and was spotlessly clean. It’s in a fantastic location, very close to city centre but in a very quiet road and close to a brilliant pub. We will definitely check availability next time we return to Bath!

We booked for my husband's 60th and had friends join us. The cottage was perfect, spotlessly clean, loads of space so didn't feel we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils and everything even down to a food processor should you need it. The pool table and dart board was a hit with my 15 year son and the hot tub was great, even sat in it whilst it was -1 outside. All in all we had a great weekend chilling. Definitely will be back. We had a gorgeous stay at the shepherds hut. Fiona greeted us on arrival, was very friendly and helpful showing us how to use the hot tub. The hut itself is lovely and perfect for a cozy retreat. We had such a relaxed time and are already looking forward to returning. Thank you so much Fiona for your kindness and our beautiful stay!

A second very comfortable stay, thank you! This is a beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfy property. The hot tub is brilliant, with lovely views over the fields behind. We also appreciated all the thought that has gone into making guests comfortable, from the fresh milk and local cheese in the fridge, to the home made cake, to the stove made up ready to light, and not to forget the extremely comfy beds. Communication was always prompt, friendly and helpful - we were very grateful for the flexibility around check in and check out times. We will hope to come back!

Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely town to stay in and to explore, and is also a great location to stay to access Bath. This house is so close to the British Rail station that we were able to use the train as a 10 minute shuffle service and avoid the hassle of Bath traffic and car parking.

Pretty cottage in beautiful surroundings. Well equipped & lovely furnishings & attention to detail. Location great for visits to coast & local attractions. Highly recommend.

We had such a nice stay at Happy on the Hill. The views were beautiful the wagon was super cozy and the bath was the icing on the cake. Neil was super responsive and helpful giving us walking recommendations and places to see but also gave us our space and to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would happily come back again!

What a great place to stay, its in a nice quiet street and is home away from home. me and my son both thought it was a great place stay!

We had a lovely stay for my partners 30th birthday. It was perfect for all 8 of us who stayed. It was close to Bath city centre and was able to get either bus, train or walking to get to the city centre. The only thing is with 8 of us it was hard using one bathroom however, we made it work as best as we could. We would definitely recommend this place to friends/family and may even be back.

Needed a place to stay for our group of friends to watch the rugby, Danny's place was just what we needed, room for us all, & within walking distance, weather permitting, of millennium stadium, large taxis cheap enough, if not. Like staying at a mate's house but your mate's not there 🤣 Great pub about 10 minutes away, The Lansdowne. Easy check in & out. Danny was very responsive to all our needs.

Sally and Steve have a lovely cosy cottage, you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Sally was very welcoming on my arrival, told me a few things about the cottage and had left a much appreciated cake in the kitchen. Woollard is a very pretty village, with lovely walks and a choice of pubs that serve food. I recommend this as a good location, with easy access to Bristol and Bath. Sally and Steve are very friendly hosts and go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Thank you.

Really great stay, in a really unique place. Everything was just as it says - and the added bonus of high ceilings, two levels, and the pool being attached to the living room really makes it a special stay. It’s a working farm, and just loved being around that country life energy!

Honestly this is a hidden gem and is definitely hijabi friendly... We had our own private space, including hot tub and outdoor heated swimming pool. Keith sourced produce so that it was accessible, he helped us in getting appropriate taxi services.

We had a fabulous stay at Lois’ for a weekend friends reunion. Lois and Paul were welcoming and took the time to talk us through local information. The house had more sleeping areas than we’d realised, which was great. We used the pool and were delighted to find Lois had left us an array of treats in the kitchen. Thank you for having us, I am sure we’ll be back to this fab location.

Great place to stay and good location

Catherine is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. The welcome basket and homemade cake delicious and much appreciated. The house is wonderful, very spacious. It was everything we hoped for and more. The garden and orchard are delightful with several seating areas both near the house and further afield. Although we didn't use it I thought the fire pit and log stools were a great idea. There's plenty of space for 5 lively boys who enjoyed it all, especially the pool and the hammocks! Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.
