Beverly Beach House- Upper Deck

RachelRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed here for a week, and fell in love with it! The house has so much charm and character. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and want to stay there again. It was within walking distance to many places, including a beach. A definite charm in Beverly! The host was amazing! She was very responsive to our questions, and checked in a few times to see if we needed anything, which I appreciated. You are missing out if you don’t stay here!

Beach House on a Private Beach!

The stay was a lovely combination between relaxing and adventurous. My son thoroughly enjoyed a successful hunt for sea glass, while my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the view in between adventures. Totally zen.

Couples Retreat - Apt in Charming Colonial Home

YangRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I would rate my experience at Lisa’s property a 5 for its extraordinary decoration and the convenient location. Also, I sincerely appreciate Lisa’s quick response to my messages. Overall, I had a pretty pleasant stay. The only note I have for those who are considering this Airbnb (especially those who are very voice sensitive) is that the noise insulation between this apartment and the basement apartment is not good.

Sunny & private cottage in Lanesville Village

KimRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The cottage is cozy and comfortable, including the beds. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet very accessible to hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, and shops. Fiona was extremely friendly and helpful. She is definitely a Super Host! We would happy have stayed longer if we could have! For those who like to ride your bike: Rt. 127, the main road that goes around Cape Ann, is very narrow and has no shoulder, so I don't recommend planning to bike there.

Beautiful beach-front 4 bed, 2.5 baths available

ArielRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Hosts proved themselves to be very responsive when an unexpected house issue arose immediately after check-in. Although a solution wasn’t feasible overnight, they got the problem fixed right away the next morning. After that hiccup, our stay was quite lovely. A beautiful location and even though we were there during a cold time of year, the view was still remarkable. The space was clean, quiet and well equipped with everything our group needed to be very comfortable. Would love to stay again during the warmer months!

Nxt to ocean, 5 min dntwn by T

AndreaRating, 5 starstoday
This place was a great place to stay for our week visit in Boston. The apartment is very conveniently located to the subway, so getting around was very easy, and it was close to the airport as well. It was also very clean and fit the four of us very comfortably. The walls are thin so it’s a little loud with street noise in the front bedroom, but nothing some ear plugs didn’t fix. The TV didn’t really work, but as we were there to explore it didn’t really matter.

Newly Renovated Ocean View 2 Bdrm Apt

ColetteRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Visiting a large family for Thanksgiving can always be hectic but staying at Anna's and Milan's house provided that 'calm base camp' it is always nice to come home too. Since the T stops literally at the front door you really don't need a car. But if you do have one there is parking spot in the driveway so what more can you ask for in Boston in regards to transportation. The view is beautiful from the second floor apartment and I literally only had to go across the street to gather my most important collectible on each trip, native beach stones. there's no better place to stay in Winthrop

Property was just as pictured, which I find extremely important. This spot is off the beaten path and quiet with a nice little walking bridge for a stroll. Close enough by car, to all the attractions of Glouchester when your ready to get out and about.

Waterfront Escape! In-town with onsite parking

Sarah A.Rating, 5 starstoday
This is a lovely suite. It's beautifully decorated and nicely equipped with amenities, including an umbrella in case you didn't bring one with you. The suite has a fabulous water view and there is plenty of outdoor seating to get that much closer to the ocean. The location can't be beat, it's right in the center of all the action! I was there during the off-season so it was understandable quiet. But I'd stay there during the busy summer season any day, as the ambiance of the suite has a very peaceful vibe. They were wonderful hosts and very quick and responsive to any questions. I'd definitely recommend!

Oceanfront Pool. Close to Boston. Free Parking.

Carol and John’s home is a hidden gem! It is located right on the beach and you can wake up every morning to the most beautiful sight. My husband and I wanted to go away from the weekend but not have to travel too far. This was the perfect place to allow us to relax and unwind for an extended weekend. The hot tub and fire place made everything even better! We’ll certainly be back! :)

Stayed over Christmas Holidays- 10/10 Views and Vibe! Gas Fireplace kept us toasty warm. Located a short dirve to town/ main street with GREAT food ooptions. Only drawback for those who like to cook, kitchen is limted to bare essentials. Cooking and serving large meals was a challenge, but would definetly rent again!.

Walk to Everything Great about Marblehead!

RoryRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We loved our stay at this property. The house is much more historic and lived in, if you are after a pristine and modern stay, this might not be the place for you. But the house more than made up for it in character and cozy vibes, and it fit in perfectly in the charming historic neighborhood in Marblehead. The area has a lot of wonderful spots you can walk to, and the host provided historical information about the area and the house as well! We were so grateful for John’s proactive communication, we didn’t have any issues but I’m confident if we had he would have quickly resolved them! Overall my family had a wonderful weekend and we spent the drive home saying home much we’d love to make another trip in the summer to enjoy the ocean more!! Thanks John for a memorable weekend!

Cozy Lakeview Guesthouse

StephenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Nola was very kind, responsive, and helpful. Our impression was that she genuinely wants her guests to have a great experience while staying at her place. We especially enjoyed the upstairs, which has a lot of open space, including room for exercising and yoga. This the only Air B&B that I've stayed in that actually has a genuinely comfortable and practical dedicated workspace, with a dedicated office-type desk in a room that can be separate from the rest of the space for focus and concentration if needed. We brought 2 dogs with us and were impressed by the welcome for them. We were able to walk from Nola's place to trails and a dog park. The location is close to a lot of things to do but is on a quite private road such that it feels like you are not in a busy area. We heard bird and spring peepers in the morning and felt like we were more in the country than in suburban Boston. Overall, it was a great place to stay for a couple of days.

Her space was spotless, and I felt safe. She was an amazing host, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Dreamy Waterfront Oasis | 5★ Location, ♛Queen Beds

AndreanaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I recently rented this Airbnb for my tenants, who found themselves in a tough situation due to their house losing heat and hot water due to a boiler replacement. Thankfully, the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating! When my tenants needed to extend their stay by an extra night, the host made the process seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend this host for their professionalism and willingness to help. Thank you, Sadi, for making a challenging situation much easier!

It’s better to wake at the Lake 2BR guest suite

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Clean, quiet, lots of space. It was wonderful to not have to do a long list of tasks at checkout, just gather the used towels! That was ultra refreshing. It was raining a lot of our stay so we didn’t utilize the outdoor space, but it was a beautiful view! As of note, there is a steep ramp into the bathroom; we put additional items along the ramp as a visual reminder. My father is in his 70’s and had no trouble navigating the ramp.

Your guide to Boston

Welcome to Boston

One of America’s oldest and most important cities, Boston intertwines quaint New England charm with well-preserved history. The Massachusetts state capital’s scenic and strategic location, where Boston Harbor meets the Charles River, imbues it with a natural beauty while keeping the city thriving economically for almost four centuries.

The bay, and the Atlantic Ocean from which it’s fed, shapes Boston’s seafood-focused culinary scene, and also keeps the city center small, making it an easy place to navigate; you can hardly walk a few blocks without running into historic Revolutionary War sites. But even squeezed into the peninsula, the city’s “Emerald Necklace,” with 1,100 acres of linked parks, holds plenty of wide open space. Meanwhile, Boston’s dozens of colleges and universities attract a sophisticated crowd that upholds the long traditions of cultural entities like the Boston Public Library and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Boston

Autumn in Boston paints the city in classic New England fall colors while threading the needle between hot, humid summer and chillingly cold winter. Late spring offers similarly pleasant weather, though the thaw from winter and slightly rainier months can turn things muddy. April’s marathon weekend, officially a state holiday called Patriots’ Day, draws huge crowds on the third Monday of the month. Average low temperatures in the winter rarely climb above freezing, but armed with plenty of warm clothing, you can take advantage of the off-season to book your vacation rental and visit high-traffic tourist sites without the crowds. Warm days with humidity make Boston summers sticky, but staying close to the many waterways around the city will help you stay cool.

Top things to do in Boston

Boston Common

The country’s oldest city park remains a jewel of public space in downtown Boston. Its 50 historic acres began as communal grazing grounds for livestock, then hosted British soldiers in the Revolutionary War. The park now offers open greenspace, lined with trees and dotted with fountains and statues, forming the southern terminus of the Freedom Trail, and bordering the stunning Boston Public Garden.

Black Heritage Trail

Where Boston’s Freedom Trail gives you a window into the city’s role in the Revolutionary War, this lesser-known but equally important 1.6-mile walk shows off what happened next. Take one of the free guided tours that tells the story of Boston’s large free Black community between the Revolutionary and Civil wars through 14 national historic sites, including the African Meeting House, built in 1806 and the oldest surviving Black church in the United States.

Boating

Boston’s harbor and rivers have shaped the city, so seeing it from the water offers the best way to both learn about and enjoy it. Choose from one of the many harbor tours, scenic sunset excursions, and fascinating architecture cruises offered to visitors, or rent a boat to paddle the Charles River or sail to the Harbor Islands.
