Waterfront vacation rentals in Genesee County

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

beautiful little place on the main strip in Frankenmuth. we enjoyed the balcony so much even in the rain thanks to the wonderful awning that can be pulled out. the only real draw back for us .... was one, me and my friend are pretty short (lol) so the microwave on top of the fridge wasn't such a great thing. the other is having twin beds in the sond room, although great for kids, it's not so great for adults. I did know that when I rented the place tho. outside of those two things. ..what a beautiful lil place to stay . we had a wonderful time

We had a wonderful stay at Carol’s spotless, cozy apartment right in the middle of downtown! Highly recommend.

The house was absolutely beautiful and Rachel was very responsive and kind! My only complaint is it was not easy to find but Rachel was up front about that so it wasn’t a surprise. Our group had a great time!!

The beach access was incredible for quiet mornings. Well stocked with things to do, it was a joy to watch the other renters take the boats out to fish and relax. The neighbors were all friendly, the neighborhood a short and sweet walk. It was an incredible stay, we ended up extending because we weren't ready to leave! Loved the fully equipped kitchen and though we didn't utilize it, free laundry facilities are always a plus for lake vacations (no more smelly bathing suits on the way home!) The thermostat was straightforward and the wifi connection was strong. No complaints here!

This is our fourth stay at Carol's. It is in a fantastic location. It feels like home! We had another great time! Carol is a very sweet lady to deal with. This is our second Christmas there. We also was there for the Bavarian Festival. We were in the center of all the activities. We also take long weekends for shopping, music, relaxation, and fun! Love the horse and carriage ride. I was in town for a serious family matter and I needed a peaceful, comfortable, quite and homey resting place. This property was exactly that for me and my family. I so appreciate my time spent here. Thank you, Haley!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

Our stay at Vivian's beautiful lake house was a long series of pleasant surprises. Where most airbnb's have the bare minimum of cooking supplies, her kitchen was fully stocked, with every appliance and spice you'd need for home cooking right at hand. The beds were comfortable, the sheets spotless, the bathrooms were pristine, and the whole house had a clean and welcoming feel that only comes from dedicated work. The lake equipment was extensive, and allowed us to make many treasured memories out on the water. And to top it all off, she left a platter of homemade chocolate chip cookies on the counter as a welcoming gift. We would happily stay here again, I can't emphasize enough how well kept this house is.

We had a great time at this house. It was very snowy so we brought sleds. Great fun! There was an ice fishing tournament on the lake during our stay. House was very clean, beds were comfy, everything we needed to cook our meals. Driveway and sidewalk were shoveled before we arrived which was nice.

Cannot beat waking up to the swans swimming in front of the house! House was amazing, I’m a foody, so a well equipped kitchen is a must - and it was! Very pleased with the stay, we come to Michigan a few times a year, we’ll be back!

Exactly as expected and I bet it's even nicer during the summer. Would definitely stay here again. Daniel was an excellent host and super communicator. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
