Our family felt right at home. We loved the privacy of this beautiful home. We always felt safe. The location is very convenient to the interstate. We could not have asked for a better temporary housing experience. We really fell in love with housing amenities like the family room, kitchen, walk-in shower, beautiful large completely fenced backyard, large windows to look out and feel at peace. Our Family had a very enjoyable stay with Host Julie. It was the Thanksgiving Holiday week and we rented the main house and lower apartment. Julie's operation was professional and attentive. The house was great for our family staying onsite (super comfortable beds) and served well for hosting Thanksgiving Day dinner of 9-10 people (total) as well. I'm sure having the pool when in season and less fall leaves would make the experience even better. Convenient access to highways, airport and downtown Birmingham was a plus. We cooked a bunch onsite using the nice kitchen (including Thanksgiving Dinner) or travelled 10-15mins to got to various restaurants. Besides some fast food and a few local places, the neighborhood did lack some dining options, but that did bother us or our stay. We would definitely consider staying with Julie at this home in the future, everyone enjoyed the house.

This is a large, lovely house built in 1914 featuring beautiful wooden trim everywhere. The location is great. It's walkable to restaurants and near the edge of a safe residential neighborhood. Those restaurants have music at night and you can hear them. The central air is inadequate to cool the upstairs bedrooms to a nice sleeping temperature in the Alabama heat, but the managers have added portable air conditioners in every bedroom. The units are loud and have bright control panels; to sleep, I covered the control panel lights and dealt with the noise; other family members turned off their units. The 4 bedrooms are spacious. Sheets were microfiber. Linens were all clean and bright. There were no dressers. C/S was excellent. Aside from the building itself, this is not one of those places with a luxe visual vibe; art was cheap and crooked and furnishings were sparse, neat and practical. The house had what we needed. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but it was very nice and we'd go again.

Taajah was a wonderful host with a beautiful home. It was very clean, comfortable and was perfect for what we needed! Very peaceful neighborhood! We stayed a full week for baseball. We were able to enjoy the pool, cook dinner ourselves and we were very close to shopping. Taajah’s instructions and descriptions were very clear and easy to understand. Highly recommend booking with Taajah if you are staying in the Hoover area!

This place was amazing. We came from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, this place was exactly what was on the website and we loved it. My children had a great time. It was a spring break. She came through for everything that we needed and I couldn’t ask for a better place and when it comes down to it, we’re coming back to me. This was amazing and thank you for everything.

Diane was very welcoming and gave helpful instructions. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Great location! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Barber Motorsports Park.

We visit Birmingham once a year and will definitely stay here again. We have a smooth and easy stay, the home is very comfortable and functional, and the kitchen is very well equipped for actually cooking. The location is great — easy to the airport, to downtown, and to Barber Motorsports park. One of our phones wouldn’t connect to the WiFi and Natalie was immediately responsive and helpful with us to get it sorted. All in all this was an excellent stay.

I spent the night here the night before my wedding and got ready with my bridesmaids and it was perfect!! James was kind and accommodated for us to allow a late check out so we had enough time to get ready. The house was roomy, clean, and beautiful. Highly recommend!!

We booked last minute after a disaster of an Airbnb nearby that we had to leave. Had to stay in a hotel for a night before checking in to Chris’ place with less than 24 hours notice. It was such a relief walking in and seeing how clean it was and how it was exactly as described. Highly recommend.

Felicia was very communicative before check in and explained everything perfectly for check in, WIFI, etc. The house was very clean, spacious and inviting. The area was quiet and close enough to get to the places I needed to go while in Birmingham. My only dislike was that the camera in the living room is technically on while you are there, even though it is covered, I feel as though that camera should be disabled while there are guests. Other than that, this place was great. Thank you Felicia for having such a nice home for travelers. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The house was comfy,the neighborhood fun to walk around,convienently located,not use to the trains running at night,loved the front porch,a very pleasant stay.

Martin’s place is the perfect pet-friendly place in the perfect location. The fenced-in backyard is awesome. This Airbnb had FAR MORE AMENITIES than any other Airbnb where I have stayed. The kitchen had plastic wrap and aluminum foil and soap and dishwasher pods. The laundry room had detergent pods and dryer sheets and an entire box of trash bags. The bathroom had hand soap and body wash and hair dryer and tons of other toiletries. There is SO MUCH STORAGE EVERYWHERE. My only word of caution is that this is marketed as a three-bedroom but it only has two beds. Feel free to bring an air mattress or sleep on the sofa if you truly need additional sleeping options. I still give this place FIVE STARS. If you are THINKING about it, BOOK IT. If you don’t, someone else will. Good job, Martin. Pearl and I can’t wait to stay here again.

My 90-year-old father and I stayed at Andy’s place for a night on our way to visit family. We were so impressed with this space! First off, the space is huge and could easily accommodate 6 or 8 people, possibly more. I can’t remember how many they recommend it for. (I booked last minute and needed 2 bedrooms, which is how we ended up with this large space for just my dad and me.) Secondly, it is immaculately clean. Beyond that, the furniture and beds are very comfortable, the kitchen and dining room are large, communication with our hosts was very timely and helpful, the area feels safe and is quiet, and it’s close to a couple of restaurants and a grocery store. I have nothing negative to say and would definitely stay here again if I find myself near Birmingham. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely loved it. The only thing I would recommend is to tell people the third bedroom is in the basement. We thought that door was just a closet. I was completely amazed when I realized it was a basement room. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Fantastic home! Less than 15 minutes from the airport and walking distance to a good number of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Home was updated and had plenty of room for all four of us. I will definitely be booking Ericas place again next time I am in Birmingham.

The bungalow was just as pictured, spacious and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Uniquely decorated and had a homely vibe as soon as we walked inside. As stated in other reviews the blinds do let all the light in both bedrooms. We managed to park both cars right outside on the street which was ideal. Would stay again!

House felt right at home. East check in and check out! Host responded quickly! We enjoyed the house and loved that it was close to downtown.

This was our second stay at Frank's place while visiting our daughter in Birmingham. Tucked in by the river, it is a quiet location and still easy to access main roads around the city. The space was perfect for our needs!
