We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing us with plenty of helpful tips about local attractions and hidden gems—we truly learned so much and benefited greatly from their insights. The room was spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making us feel right at home. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

The room at Gudrun's place was perfect. It is sufficiently large and has access to a balcony. Kitchen and bathroom are shared, but this is not a problem. We loved the breakfast. Gudrun is very friendly and told us a lot about the area and Iceland. We would book it again.

This venue is very good. The hosts are very informative and give you all the attention you require. Their two assistants are also friendly, but as they have 4 legs and a tail (cat & small dog), they only come to you for company on occasions. They are well trained and will not bother you. The accommodation is large enough, and all amenities to make light meals are provided, plus there is a coffee maker ! It is placed just north of the capital, so it is easily found and is not too far from the airport. Overall this was an ideal opportunity to be next to local people who can assist you, but you also have your own floor of the building to yourself. The hosts offer various ideas for days out, and they print off A4 guides for you to take with you. The photo and video gallery they have is quite extesive, and their personal recordings of visits to the volcanos can be seen on request. Birgir and Björg offer a very friendly service, I fully recommend this option!

This is a perfect location if you want to stay in the center of the city. Everything is within walking distance. The room was beautiful and clean. The bathroom was tiny but served its purpose. It can stay loud until late due to location but closing the window blocked out most of the noise. It was a great stay!

I stayed in Arna's house for four days. The house is easy to access and well-decorated. The room is big, clean, and cozy. Arna is a kind host who made me feel like home. Highly recommend!

Excellent location but parking is difficult especially if you’re toting luggage. Expect to find a side street about 5 blocks away. The bed was outstanding!

This is our 2nd time staying here - perfect location if you're flying out of KEF early. We had a 7am flight and it's a 5 min drive from the airport. Plenty of free on-street parking on a quiet street. It's also great how flexible they are with checking in/checking out. And the free breakfast room is open from 4am and they had a delicious homemade chocolate cake, cold cuts/cheese/breads, cereals, yogurts, juices, and milk. There are 2 shared bathrooms, which we normally don't choose, but they are very clean and both times we stayed here we never saw anyone else or had to wait for the bathroom. Beds are comfortable and the hosts are very nice. This is the perfect, affordable spot to stay if you're wanting something close to the airport!

Linda is the best host ever! Their home is really clean, very impeccable. in add Linda offers us a delicious breakfast. i absolutely recommend their accomodation.

Booked as arriving very late at night at airport, this location was 13 minutes drive from airport. Very comfy and clean. Perfect. Messaged owner a couple of times with quick responses each time. Thank you so much.
