I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! Birgir was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was our Iceland story time with Birgir—his captivating stories gave us a deeper appreciation for the country and its culture. His passion for the environment was truly inspiring, motivating me to become more proactive about global warming and environmental responsibility. Birgir also recommended trying an Icelandic swimming pool, and we absolutely loved it! This was a truly memorable stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing us with plenty of helpful tips about local attractions and hidden gems—we truly learned so much and benefited greatly from their insights. The room was spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making us feel right at home. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

Johann was very pleasant. We did not have the opportunity to meet Karen. The place was clean and exactly what was shown in the photographs. Hard to find the right address in the dark but that was us, not because they did anything wrong. I would recommend staying here especially if you need a close location to Keflavík Airport and want a nice place to sleep.

The room at Gudrun's place was perfect. It is sufficiently large and has access to a balcony. Kitchen and bathroom are shared, but this is not a problem. We loved the breakfast. Gudrun is very friendly and told us a lot about the area and Iceland. We would book it again.

This venue is very good. The hosts are very informative and give you all the attention you require. Their two assistants are also friendly, but as they have 4 legs and a tail (cat & small dog), they only come to you for company on occasions. They are well trained and will not bother you. The accommodation is large enough, and all amenities to make light meals are provided, plus there is a coffee maker ! It is placed just north of the capital, so it is easily found and is not too far from the airport. Overall this was an ideal opportunity to be next to local people who can assist you, but you also have your own floor of the building to yourself. The hosts offer various ideas for days out, and they print off A4 guides for you to take with you. The photo and video gallery they have is quite extesive, and their personal recordings of visits to the volcanos can be seen on request. Birgir and Björg offer a very friendly service, I fully recommend this option!

This is a perfect location if you want to stay in the center of the city. Everything is within walking distance. The room was beautiful and clean. The bathroom was tiny but served its purpose. It can stay loud until late due to location but closing the window blocked out most of the noise. It was a great stay!

Lovely host, nice place. Arna’s place is a great convenient and clean option for a quick trip to Reykjavik.

Excellent location but parking is difficult especially if you’re toting luggage. Expect to find a side street about 5 blocks away. The bed was outstanding!

It was our second stay at Johann & Karen’s place. Its very close to Keflavik airport and walking distance from a bus stop to Reykjavik. Room was clean and warm. There are 2 clean bathrooms. Its also great that there is a big kitchen avaliable so we could prepare breakfast at the morning. Shop is also nearby. We really enjoyed it.

Linda is the best host ever! Their home is really clean, very impeccable. in add Linda offers us a delicious breakfast. i absolutely recommend their accomodation.
