We had a wonderful stay at Katharina’s apartment I would recommend and stay again on future visits. The apartment is cozy and feels like home. Kathatina was lovely and offered great recommendations.

Modern home for a big group

HuzeifaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had such a great stay at Vive’s. Firstly, the house is exactly as described. All the rooms, and more Importantly the beds were super clean and very comfortable. The house is spacious and located in a very beautiful and serene neighborhood which is like a 5 to 7 min drive to downtown Reykjavik. We walked along the beautiful bay that’s literally right behind the house, and kids enjoyed playing at a cute playground right next to the bay. Vive had several nice toys which kept the kids entertained at home. The hot tub was great to spend late evenings with friends with a few drinks. Vive was super responsive and helped with any questions we had! I would definitely recommend her place and would stay here again when I come back again to Iceland!

Really great. Olly is the perfect host. I was offered food and transport to make my stay work over the NY celebration period. So very welcoming — I was taken on a tour and offered warm clothes. So very generous, kind and helpful.
A spacious living area is highlighted by a modern entertainment center featuring a large television. A cozy sofa set surrounds a coffee table, complemented by warm wooden flooring. A stylish chandelier hangs from the ceiling, while a decorative mounted deer head adds a unique touch to the decor.

Family home, 10 min to center, 30 min to volcano

DavidRating, 5 stars19 months ago
This home was beautiful, modern and very practical for five adults with two bathrooms, each with a shower, though the showers were a bit small. Also worth noting for summer travelers is that two of the bedrooms do not have blackout shades, so bring eye masks. The location was great, very convenient for trips out of Raykjavik, and great parking, too. Very close to a supermarket, bakery and a nearby mall. Anna Karen was EXTREMELY responsive, flexible and helpful. When we had a small issue, she immediately had someone come out to resolve it. My whole family was very happy with this home! You will be, too.

Wonderful apartment by the sea in Reykjavík area

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This apartment is sublime - we loved it - so warm and cosy, so beautiful and calm - a wonderful place for a retreat (and I kind of wish I lived there!). Tactile bare wood floors, whitewashed timber walls, and calm warm light. Hafnaforthur itself is truly beautiful (& we recommend Brikk bakery!!!) and a great stepping off point for Reykjavik, the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon. We went in the winter, and were grateful for the strong radiators and the wonderful hot baths. Soley and her family live in the apartment below, and Soley was easy to reach and communicate with as well as sending lots of thoughtful suggestions for both practical things like groceries, and adventures like whale watching. Soley also provides a wonderful range of products from her own skincare range which smell incredible, and made our stay a really sensory experience. We greeted the display of her lotions in duty-free like an old friend, and I would have brought the whole lot home if I could have afforded them!
An outdoor seating area features a comfortable sectional sofa with plush gray cushions. A small tabletop displays colorful flower arrangements, and a modern outdoor chimney stands as a focal point. Wooden decking provides a warm, inviting surface surrounded by greenery.

Wonderful house in suburbs of Reykjavik

AshvinRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Great for families and convenient location for Reykjavik and the airport. Would highly recommend. Pros Quiet neighbourhood. Responsive host. Honoured the booking even though there was some sort of mix-up. Super helpful and the additional information during bad weather was really appreciated. Clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Great for families with young children. Improve Netflix on the main tv would be useful.

Bright and modern townhouse

LilyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A lovely beautiful home in a newly built development, easy to find with grocery shops close by to do a food shop. Very spacious and good size bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen for when you are eating in. Love that there were facilities to wash/dry clothes. Great location to be able to get onto the main road to drive to all the activities we booked in. Would recommend it as a perfect place to stay in Iceland and definitely would be happy to stay again if I decide to visit it Iceland again. Which I’m sure I will 😁
