Vacation rentals with a patio in Gampaha

We stayed at Silunas AirBnb for one month and loved every day of it. It’s located in a beautiful, fairly quiet area yet everything you need is close by – many restaurants and a supermarket are in walking distance and getting to Colombo city center by car or trisho takes less than half an hour. We really loved the big terrace surrounded by palm trees, banana plants, cute chipmunks and fireflies at night. Towards the end of our stay we did however have a problem with a lot of ants inside of the apartment that seemed to be emerging out of nowhere despite not leaving any food out in the open. Overall though we really enjoyed our time in Silunas place and felt very much at home :)

We chose Sanira's apartment as our place to stay while we worked on our wedding arrangements since it was at the center of Colombo and made it easy to travel to our vendor appointments. The place was impeccably clean, tidy and modern, which are all extremely important to my wife and I. The only problem we encountered frequently (which isn't a reflection on the host) had to do with the building's security. They've made it unnecessarily strict and complex to the point where it almost felt like they were constantly interrogating us and our guests, despite having stayed at this place for almost a month. Besides the few altercations that we had with security during our stay, this was an excellent pick and we were extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!

Incredible host — so accommodating. I appreciate Sumudu’s recommendations for restaurants to eat and places to visit. If there is a problem — Sumudu will fix it. 5* — wonderful experience!

Highly recommend staying at Silmiya’s place. The apartment and the block it’s situated in js stunning. The view from the apartment over the Lotus Tower makes the experience more beautiful and magical, especially when it’s lit up at night. The apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy. Essential items were provided to make it a home away from home. Silmiya is an excellent and responsive host.

Surekha is a wonderful host and took very good care of us throughout our stay! The place exceeded our expectations and is exactly as described and as in the photos. Everything was well taken care of, including the small details, and we felt right at home. We had all amenities and more for a very comfortable stay, albeit just for a day. Thank you so much, Surekha, for hosting us, and we look forward to the next opportunity to staying at your place while in Colombo.

Big nice house in nice location. Very close to small shops where you can find everything necessary. House is very clean with beautiful garden. Shanil and his father are absolutely amazing hosts. They help with everything we needed and even more. We enjoy staying here. Definitely will come back here in our next visit to Sri Lanka

Our Stay at Angela's Place When we arrived, Angela's mother, Ms. Anita, warmly welcomed us. Angela herself was incredibly responsive throughout our stay, promptly answering every message and inquiry. She is a fantastic host, and her home provides a safe and comfortable environment for families. A daily needs shop is conveniently located within walking distance of Angela's house, making it easy to purchase groceries and essentials. Ms. Anita is also an excellent cook. I had the pleasure of enjoying her delicious fish curry, which was beautifully prepared with a generous amount of pepper. While the stay was fantastic and the rooms were clean and tidy, I would recommend that vegetarian travelers bring their preferred provisions, as Indian cuisine may not be readily available. Highly recommended for traveller's.

In a nutshell, the whole layout of the house was beyond expectations and matched Australian standards. Everything was pristinely clean and the kitchen was fully equipped and even included an air fryer. Though we didn't cook during our six-week stay, as our friends and family supplied our meals, we appreciate the amenities. The beautiful garden and the peaceful and secure neighbourhood, made us feel safe as if we were in our own home. The owner's father who lived nearby was very helpful and approachable. Every little detail has been addressed and even the universal plugs and switchboard were thoughtfully provided for our own appliances. Another major attraction and a favourite was the washing and drying space provided on the rooftop, which gave us a good view of the surrounding area and the wildlife. Can be fully recommended to anyone who values a clean, peaceful and spacious home while travelling.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aruna's! The home is breathtakingly beautiful, far exceeding expectations for the price. The architecture is top-notch, with a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and cozy charm that made it feel like my own home. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, always available to answer questions or provide recommendations. Their warmth and attentiveness truly elevated the experience. Every corner of the property felt thoughtfully designed, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Whether it was relaxing in the living space, enjoying the stunning surroundings, or just soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, it was all perfect. If you're looking for a place that's both stunning and welcoming, this is the one. I can't recommend it enough and would love to return someday!

What can I say other than don’t miss the opportunity to stay in this exceptional home. I was doing some work in Colombo for two months and was fortunate enough to come across Chandi’s & Lucy’s place online. Photos can’t do justice to the true sense of calm which you experience as soon as you walk through the entrance door to the property which separates the garden of Colombo Retreat from the street (a quiet private road which runs off a busier street with a few shops/restaurants within easy walking distance). The property is all on the ground floor with a private garden for your own use which wraps itself around the space. Completely private. Inside the space is beautifully furnished with an easy blend of antiques and more contemporary Sri Lankan furniture. You know that this is someone’s home but you never feel like you are intruding. I could not recommend this beautiful home more. Finally, a shout-out to Asta (co-host) and Asuntha (housekeeper), both of whom were so attentive.

My family stayed at Priyanka's place nearly 03 weeks in Last Dec, It is a great property located at central location and very easy to access markets and other important places. We enjoyed great facilities in the apartment including top floor swimming fool and view ,guards were very helpful. Unit got large rooms with AC and showers with hot water system. large living room gave us more free space for our family. Overall it was a great stay..!

Indika was a wonderful host. The pla e was very comfortable with a beautiful TV to relax with after a day out adventuring. Lots of amenities including a gym and pool. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Altaf is an amazing host. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Anything extra we needed, he saw to it that we got. He is extremely responsive on text. This is a comfortable two bedroom property. The furniture is all brand new and all the appliances are brand new. Bathroom fittings etc are all brand new too. It is a perfect air bnb property as Altaf only stays there on the rare occasion so it is neat, modern and uncluttered with personal stuff. Agree, the pictures don't do it full justice. Plenty of storage for suitcases clothes. Excellent wifi (we used this a lot!!) and the TV comes with Netflix. The building itself is quiet in that there aren't many other residents yet so often we had the pool and the gym to ourselves. We ordered Uber Eats many times and they only got lost once. Lots of security and there is a person at reception to collect deliveries. MUST check out the roof which is available for booking. Massive kitchen and private party area (indoor and outdoor space). Incredible view. Location will be good once the Cinnamon Life Mall etc is built. Partial view of the sea from the balcony. Good sized balcony with enough space for four chairs and a table. The only thing is it is a low floor, and there was a lot of construction noise from the approach road that is being built. However, this is almost done and shouldn't be a problem in the near future. Overall we had an excellent month long stay and I can highly recommend this place. A big thank you to Altaf for going out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and for being so responsive. Excellent price point too.

We loved our stay at Dulaj’s property. Everything was great, and very convenient. We’ll definitely be back.
