Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gampaha

Suresh was an excellent host and very accommodating. I had booked this place for my parents visit to Sri Lanka to visit family. What stood out to me was the location since it made it convenient to visit family. My parents absolutely loved their stay here! The home itself was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and had a very cozy and modern feel. My parents felt very comfortable and safe during their stay. It was a pleasure communicating with Suresh, he replied promptly to all of my questions and was very flexible with the check in process. Overall, my parents really enjoyed their stay here and would definitely stay here again on their next visit!

My family and I, wanted a place in Colombo for a month. After looking for a long time, we finally found this apartment, which truly exceeded our expectations. The best thing is the property it self which has many facilities such as the gym, pool, supermarket and an ATM. There are many restaurants close by aswell. Overall the experience was great. The only drawback if any I would say is the height of the bed, which is very low to the ground. Other than that fantastic place.

Ranil should more clearly explain regarding the service being provided by the staff. When we ordered this villa we were not even aware of the fact there were services included and we had our own cook, maintenance specialist and a personal manager. Apart from that, everything was amazing. This villa is for somebody who wants quiet and be away from civilization for a while

this place and location is quite awesome. loved everything about it. a minute walking distance from good restaurants and the beach. really a treasure of a place and excellent value for money.

This is an old family house. You can almost feel the atmosphere of a large family. We stayed in three comfortable rooms each with an attached bathroom. There was hot water, wi-fi, plenty of plates and everything for a comfortable stay. The house in on the road and close to restaurants and shops. The beach is 5 km away. We liked our comfortable stay a lot. The owner was very helpful. Thank you, Malcoln!

We, a family of 4, stayed eleven days (booked for 10 days and extended the stay by one more day) and enjoyed every day there. This is a spacious house with a beautiful, well-maintained garden. Luckily, there was no rain during our stay and I enjoyed the garden almost every morning. The caretaker (Nimal) is very responsive and helpful. Once we locked ourselves out, and Nimal could help us as soon as we contacted him. Wi-Fi (mobile internet) setup is there and was helpful. (You may have to reload, pre-paid via mobile provider - Dialog, based on your usage). There is no air conditioning, but we didn’t need it as it was late December.

The biggest draw of this place is that it is right on the beach. It was ideal for us as we wanted to kick back and relax after two weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka. Step out of the house and on to the beach, go for a swim or a long walk/jog. The beach is secluded, there isn't much around the house except for an occasional fisherman, a lot of crabs and birds, and in clear skies, a view of the distant Colombo skyline. Keep in mind that there isn't a functioning restaurant anywhere nearby. Google maps might show you a couple, but none were serving food during our visit. There is a village grocery store 5 minutes walk away. The caretaker lady cooked us some really nice meals for dinner and breakfast, so we didn't miss having restaurant options around. There was a water outage on our last day, but the resourceful Mr. Lal managed to run a pump and get us all the water we needed.

Good place to spend the night before the airport, plenty of restaurants and a great breakfast place nearby and the beach is a 10 min walk. Pushpa was super responsive and very helpful, she gave us recommendations and made sure everything was ok. Check-in and check-out were super easy.

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

The house was very nice and we highly recommend it. It was very close to the swimming pool and several shops. It was also very easy to communicate with Ransika and her father. We overall had a wonderful time at this house.

We stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks with our two young daughters while we were looking for a long-term rental. The apartment was clean and exactly as advertised. Everything worked well, which isn't always the case in Sri Lanka. Wendy and her friend were very quick to respond and effectively addressed our concerns and requests. The apartment is close to and an easy walk to everything, so you can't beat the location.

We had lovely stay at the villa. It is very big and the swimming pool is great. Everyone was very helpful and the breakfast of Suneetha was very good. When we come back to Sri Lanka we will stay here again.

Friendly staff, easy check in, big beds with mosquito nets and an electric mosquito swat in the room - very handy! Nice little plunge pool, close enough to beach/Main Street to walk - within 10 mins or so. Very affordable. More like a guest studio, not a stand alone apartment Only small niggle was shower pressure/temperature was temperamental

wonderful apartment in a wonderful location, central Colombo. The host was an excellent communicator who helped us in many ways even including arranging a contact for airport transportation. wonderful recommendations, safe and spacious apartment with thoughtful touches, even a few snacks and refreshments provided. We were happy we decided to stay here. check in was super easy. The view from the apartment was nice. AC works well and the apartment even has a washer and dryer for clothing! easy to call a tuk tuk directly outside the apartment. the place is very safe, also great for families. strong wifi. 10/10!

Great accomodation for a vacation in Colombo. Perfectly located in the heart of the city with beautiful views from the balcony and pool! Great host, house was clean and tidy. perfect stay!

We had a great time at the villa. It is very close to the airport and was a great place to settle in to our Sri Lanka trip. The caretakers are super helpful and the food they prepared (to order) was wonderful! The pool is well maintained as well. Highly recommend!

This is a huge Villa conveniently located for the airport with a wonderful pool immediately outside the living room. We stayed for one night for the convenience of the airport and left early. We used the pool which was great. Staff we really pleasant and helpful.
