House vacation rentals in Franklin

My family and I had a great time. The place was awesome. First of all, it is super clean. We enjoyed the creek, playground, grilling, the pool, and were able to work at night with the WiFi provided. The location was convenient and peaceful. The house was also loaded with plenty of essentials. The coffee machine was very clean, I usually have to use my own but theirs was clean so I did use it. We would definitely book here again. The owners were responsive and very pleasant.

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

This has been yet another amazing stay!! We have reserved this Air B&B for 3 years now and each time Nina has provided an incredible and hassle free experience. Full of amenities, a complete kitchen arrangement, a quiet driveway and amazing views, this Air B&B has countless things to compliment and I’m happy to say we will continue using it as long as we can <3 It has gone from a vacation home to an ACTUAL home, just far away from our regular one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and when the clouds broke this morning there was a double rainbow over the valley. The house is decorated so cute. I loved all the artistic antique doors. It reminded me of my grandmothers house and the kids loved the pool table. I would definitely stay again maybe in the summer so we could use the pool.

Lynnette’s beautiful place was delightful! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and everything was spotless. We felt so at home with the Christmas decorations and especially the welcoming pie. We hope to come back soon. Great location- close to everything!

This is a beautiful house with a great view of the mountains. We felt right at home. The host was very responsive and helpful from before we checked in to after. We would recommend them and this house.

Sharon’s Cosmic getaway is a fantastic choice if visiting western North Carolina. The place spotless, beautifully furnished and a terrific view. It’s close to Asheville, the Smokey Mountains the Blue Ridge Parkway and lots more. The host is very responsive and great communication from check in to check out. Would highly recommend.

Always a 5-star place to stay. We have family in Franklin and always want this house and are very disappointed if it is already taken. Quiet, peaceful location. Easy to get to. It's always neat and clean, decorated so beautifully. Plenty of amenities. We've stayed in other houses (when we couldn't get this one) and the host only provided 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry pod, 1 trash bag, etc. - certainly not enough for a weekend. Cherisse is always available and helpful. A perfect host.

I think this was our 5th or 6th stay, I’ve lost count. We love this place and will come again!

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were in town for a quick weekend of house hunting, this made a great home base. Lots of little touches that made our stay comfortable and go very smoothly. Great location, private, peaceful. When we come back we’d stay here again for sure.

Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We thoroughly enjoyed the large fireplace. So warm and cozy! The large Christmas tree and decorated mantle was a beautiful addition to the holiday spirit. Thank you again for sharing such a special place!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Great place to travel between cities and visit Smoky Mountains. Nice, quiet area and the trails on the property were great. Rita's place had everything you need for a home away from home. We had a lovely stay at this charming new cottage. It’s bigger than expected and love the front and back porches. It’s in a great location, peaceful but close to the center of Cashiers. Will, Amber and Mark are great hosts! The cell service is weak but I was able to use my phone on the front porch. Would definitely stay again!

I have never stayed at a more well stocked rental. If you forgot anything, no worries, she probably has it in the house! Joan left some very thoughtful, personal touches like having the heated blanket turned on for me when I arrived, a bowl of treats, etc. My favorite part is a tie between the gorgeous claw foot soaking tub which I used every night, and the beautiful view of the mountains from a large picture window. The location was really beautiful, and had a grocery store and multiple gas stations within a few miles of the house. The only thing that kept it from being perfect, was the spotty wifi, which is understandable in the mountains, but all the lighting was hooked to Google, so Google either didn't understand, or the wifi kept failing for the commands. It just seemed it took 5x as long to turn on a lamp, than simply turning the switch. I ended up unhooking the one in the bedroom during my stay. I would highly recommend this rental, and Joan is an amazing host.

Looking for a private mountain top escape? This fits the bill! Beautiful views are a given. The house is comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. My kids were disappointed it wasn’t a full size pool table but still played several games. I’d caution anyone without 4 wheel drive not to try the driveway during the winter months or even very rainy times. We had a great time hiking nearby trails, hanging out at the house, and enjoying the peace of the mountain. There were a couple maintenance issues but we asked they be solved after we left. Our host was always quick to answer any questions and was helpful. We enjoyed our stay!
