Family-friendly vacation rentals in Forte dei Marmi

We had a great time at Graziana and her husband's place. The hosts are welcoming and easily available. The place is beautiful, quiet and pleasantly cool in the evening. Impeccable pool! Recommended.

Stefania’s place is a truly hidden gem! This apartment is exactly what you need for a luxury relaxed weekend just a short bike-ride from Forte dei Marmi city center. My friends and I spent there few days to celebrate a hen party and we couldn’t ask for anything more. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ask for; there is coffee and snacks, and it was spotlessly clean! Also Stefania was so kind to leave us fresh croissants outside the door for both mornings we stayed there, a really nice gesture. We asked her to manage a late checkout and she let us stay until 3pm, so we could enjoy the typical Forte dei Marmi Sunday market and an amazing lunch by the seaside. So this is definitely the right place to book!

Sara and Bryan were responsive and helpful even before we arrived. They sent us a comprehensive pdf with information for the area and were quick to answer any questions we had. Bryan met us at the parking lot with his tractor and helped us bring up our many suitcases. Although it was rainy during most of our stay, Metato was still magical. The views are phenomenal and the village is lovely. The place had everything we needed including rain boots and umbrellas. There was a lot of space and we all had our own floor at the house which was a nice perk. We enjoyed going down to dinner in village below which Bryan and Sara helped reserve for us. Everything was amazing and the hosts are lovely people. We loved talking to them and hearing about the story of the village. Can’t wait to come back!!

Andrea is a great host, helpful and responsive. The apartment is close to the center of Pietrasanta and very close to the only free parking lot (a big plus!). The bathrooms are great and stylish, the bedrooms comfortable and there is lots of space. Restaurants are very close by, but if you like to cook the kitchen is well furnished and the food shop is in walking distance.

Very nice place with everything you need for a successful vacation. The kitchen and especially outdoor kitchen were well equipped to easily cook nice dinners for a bigger group. The pool was very nice. The house was clean and the bathrooms looked completely renovated. The best part was the hospitality of the owners. Very welcoming people that know the answer to all your questions about the area. Would recommend!

Thank you so much to Rossella and Roberto for a wonderful week! The apartment is very lovingly furnished. Everything is provided. There is a great balcony and a large fenced terrace. The view from the balcony is magnificent. Everything is very clean. Rossella gave us many tips and was always available and helpful and very friendly. Everything was perfect :-) We would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful time at Zivile & Dante’s house! They were very thoughtful and kind hosts, making us feel right at home. Their creativity shined through every part of their home and property. We enjoyed a delicious vegan meal our first night as well as coffee and pastries in the morning (both for additional charge). The home is not in Camporgiano as we initially thought, but was just a quick 7 minute drive to it. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Our stay went great, Catarina and Narciso are very welcoming and available if needed. The accommodation is perfect for a family stay with a large well fenced garden, children's games that are kindly available, and the location is ideal for visiting the villages of Tuscany, we recommend it!

The house and garden were very nice and fully furnished! In the area you definitely need a car and you can start to many great attractions in the area. Paolo is a great host and he helped me a lot with your tips and was also able to speak German well;-) Unfortunately, the view through the trees is somewhat blocked, but you sit on the terrace in a beautiful garden - a few meters further you can enjoy the sunset and the sea view. The special thing about this accommodation is the proximity to the sea as well as to the mountains! I will definitely be back!

We arrived with so much enthusiasm and Samuele, the host, always present and communicative by phone, gave us directions and suggestions from arrival until the end of our stay. Really nice villa, also the place is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful greenery, relaxing and ideal for large families or 4 couples as we were. We had a great time and honestly great availability from the very friendly host. It's not easy to find people who are so kind and attentive to guests' needs. I highly recommend this property considering the very central location to reach many beautiful places.

The place is simply beautiful, surrounded by a huge garden that invites you to relax. The location is ideal – not far from the sea and perfect to explore Lucca or Pisa. Olimpia and Salvatore were incredibly warm and nice. Although they don't speak English and German, and we don't speak Italian, communication was very good. We really enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to returning again in the future.

Very spacious and equipped with everything! We stayed comfortably in two families with 3 small children; I would recommend keeping one or two camping beds available for children. Clean accommodation; about a 10 minute walk to the Viareggio waterfront. Nearby essential amenities. We had a very good time and Lorenzo was a very helpful host! Everything to recommend! Thanks!!

Giacomo's home is a beautiful rustic renovated on the hill. The location is splendid. It's close to the city, even if it's in a quiet location. The house is beautiful, a typical renovated Tuscan farmhouse. We were very well received by the owners and they immediately made us feel "at home". The environment is super clean and equipped with everything we needed. The owners are extremely discreet but available if needed. Kitchen is well-equipped. The owners made us find plenty of seasonal fruit and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. We had a wonderful week. We just left...and can't wait to come back.

What a comfy place! We loved staying here and catching up on work while walking the Via Francigena. The hosts were fantastic and we would love to come back.

Here is the final version of the review: --- We had a wonderful stay! The property offers a breathtaking view of the sea that we enjoyed every day, especially at the fantastic sunsets. The pool was beautiful and very well maintained, perfect for relaxing. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, which really helped us relax. We also particularly liked the olive trees on the property, which gave the whole thing a special charm. The hosts were always available and very helpful. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with fantastic amenities!

The property and location are great for families. We felt very comfortable. Although we do not play tennis, our children loved the tennis court and the facility is very nicely laid out and maintained. All residents and also staff were very friendly. It was stressful for us to climb the private road with the slightly larger car and we always had concerns that someone could accommodate us, on the other hand the view of the sea and the sunset was unique. Everything is superbly organized and explained and there are clear rules for waste separation. The necessary utensils for kitchen and co. are also provided.

You open the gate to the property and think you have landed in paradise. We spent fantastic two weeks in this dream house. The views of the bay and the village are amazing. The pool is huge and everything was well maintained. Valentina & Jacopo are very warm hosts with great tips who care a lot about their guests. They often came by and cleaned the pool, mowed lawn, etc . The house is super nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable there. The only thing I would have loved would be screens so you can open the windows at night without being stabbed, but that's all . So whining at a very high level ;). The village of Monte Marcello is super nice and idyllically located, with great views . From there, we made excursions to Pisa, Florence, Lerici, La Spezia, the Cinque Terre, etc. To put it in a nutshell, it was a dream!!!

I celebrated my 50th Birthday with 7 dear friends at Umberto's house last week - it was beyond perfect! This was my first trip to Tuscany and definitely won't be my last. Umberto, Sheriff and Valentina are extremely warm hosts and the house is huge! I still don't think I visited every room! There is so much space that we ate in a different room every night! We didn't hire a car, however, Umberto gave us the contact details for Mr Manrico who did all of our airport runs, trips to Lucca, and trips to a local winery - this made our trip so much more relaxing and obviously we could all enjoy a drink too! A well stocked supermarket is a 15 minute stroll if you don't mind walking along a road and we were happy to do that. Chef Giovanni on the last night was wonderful - a real treat and in a fabulous house! Thank you to Umberto for making our stay so wonderful!

We have fallen in love with Tuscany, thanks to Klaus's place and Francesco, the friend of his down the road who looks after guests and house. Everybody so kind, beautiful countryside, delicious food, and stunning Lucca not far. We were 4 couples, 3 stayed at Klaus's place the other two at Francesco's Antica Pergola, 200m away. This was ideal. We spent a lot of time in the large house with the big kitchen, garden and pool, or left together to explore Tuscany. What a lovely time we had!
