Places to stay in Fort Gaines

Wonderful stay as always! We had so much. Mark is always friendly and very easy to get a hold of if you have any questions. The view is beautiful and the house is always clean. Perfect for fisherman! Bait and tackle store right down the road. Can't beat it!!!

At first when we pulled in we were a little skeptical of the area and couldn’t find the address. Amanda immediately answered the phone on the first ring and helped us find the house. Once we arrived, we unloaded and found the “apartment”. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was also very comfortable. Even though we were skeptical about the area at first, it ended up being quiet and we had no issues. We were able to park our boat with plenty of room and able to charge it daily. All in all, it was a great trip and we would return.

Short family weekend to see my son. This location was perfect for the quick trip. We had everything we needed and the home was so clean!! Loved Loved Loved the screened in porch. We will be staying again.

We enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s place. The backyard was my favorite. The water and the view were so peaceful. The weather was perfect which made being outside even better. The master bed was comfortable and it had a big bathroom that was super clean (the shower was a bit slippery probably due to water softener?). We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was well stocked. The couches are a bit old and a little saggy which wasn’t good for my husband as he has a bad back, but using some throw pillows helped. Overall, it was very enjoyable. Would love to stay again.

The place was beautiful! waking up to an amazing view every morning and a good cup of coffee. Has super friendly dogs around the property and gave great recommendations on what to do around the area! Would definitely come back and recommend

We had such a lovely time staying at Dove Cabin. The hot tub was the perfect end to busy days visiting my parents in Dawson. Melinda was also so kind and communicative. The house was just as it was pictured and was cozy; it felt like being home. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful and tranquil place to relax. Great place with fishing close by and great space for a boat. On behalf and the couple with we throughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon

We enjoyed staying in this cozy little home. The house was perfect for it little family! We enjoyed the sunrise view on the lake and the deer in the evening. Chase was a great host and responded very promptly when we had questions. We will be back!
