The Ugly Marlin was stunning! It was exactly how it was described and even more. The location is perfect. We were is a small city with all the things we needed but so close to all the amazing Redwood sites. The view from the kitchen could not be beat. The home was stocked with everything you would need and it was so clean. We were so sad to leave! We will be back one day!

Great location for peaceful visit to northern Cali beaches, touring redwoods, etc. Sandy had super recommendations for kids and adults alike, and was very responsive to our questions. After traveling a very long day from the east coast, we found Mitch’s small cottage was exactly as he described on line. It’s a perfect location for exploring the Oregon coast and Redwood National Parks. The cottage felt safe and comfy, with a view of the water and a short walk down to the beach. The sunsets and sound of the ocean was so soothing after some of our long hikes in Prairie Creek. Thanks Mitch. This was our first time visiting the west coast and it was so perfect it was hard to leave!

Beautiful place to stay! The amazing sandy beach is just 3min walk away, or the mouth of the river just 2min walk. And, the big backyard is just perfect for kids and pets! Of course the pool was a big hit with our kids! Great location to discover the beautiful nature around, while feeling like you are glamping at a great place. Really recommend!

What a great Airbnb! We stayed only 2 nights on our road trip down the Coast but easily could have stayed longer. The bed was extremely comfortable! It was centrally located with lots of places to eat around. It was a perfect base for exploring the redwoods! I also liked the little touches for example, a seperate towel for removing make up, I commented on this multiple times to my partner.

This place is a gem of a find. For a group of 7 and 2 small pets this place is a godsend. I suppose this place will be busy late Spring and all Summer but I’m glad I got the chance to stay here. Our itinerary involves staying a full day to visit the Redwood State Parks and I know there’s only select places to visit given such very limited stay, but it was forecasted to be rainy the exact day! It was a storm and a whole lotta wind and rain. Our group was headed to Oregon coast the following day (also rainy😅) so we decided to just explore the place in the morning and stay in. It was the best decision we made! The place, the community, the vibe had so much to offer. Writing this review I know I may have a slim chance booking this place again in the summer but I sure would love to be back and book the same exact cabin again! Thank you Carina!🙏🏻

So if they had gave the correct code to get in I’d would have had perfect review. The weather had made it hard to communicate with them and the instructions to the place were not available. But besides all that we had amazing time together there. We definitely have to come back. We love this place.
