Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Formia

We recently stayed at Lucas House, a lovely villa in the mountains of Scauri, just a short drive from Rome. The house is beautiful, with lots of space and comfortable beds. The views are amazing, and we loved both the private pool and the larger shared pool. Most rooms had air conditioning, which was great. Driving in the area can be tricky, but the "authentic" Italian experience makes it worthwhile. There aren't many tourists, which makes it feel very real, but it might be challenging language and service-wise if you prefer more tourist-friendly places. Overall, Lucas House was perfect for our big family. It is child-friendly, though the large marble stairs make it more suitable for children over 3.5 years old. It’s close to many beautiful spots and beaches. Dealing with Luca and his team was easy and smooth. Thank you, Luca, for hosting us in your wonderful villa!

Carmine and his wife welcomed us very warmly. Despite language difficulties, we were able to communicate very well. The property is super maintained by both, every corner is clean. There are no weeds. The pool and surroundings are also very nicely laid out, lots of space. We had a very relaxing holiday. Thanks very much. Anja and family

Very nice villa near the sea, tastefully cared for and furnished, spacious and stocked with everything, with plenty of kitchen furnishings and to enjoy the lovely garden. The comfortable rooms with many closets, several TVs, air conditioning and fans are available. 7 are perfectly comfortable . The area is residential and quiet. The sea is a 4-minute walk away. Our dog also had a great time, with the fence around the house he could stay in the garden in the cool while we went to the sea. The host Nicola is very kind and helpful and Mr. Maurizio is always ready to help for any eventuality. In short, a perfect experience and to repeat for sure!

Superb location. Peaceful setting. Well appointed villa. Comfy settees and bed. Well equipped kitchen. Effective Wi Fi but no TV. Ideally situated for getting train to Naples and Rome. 15 min drive to local railway station where parking cost 8€ a day. Managed to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii, Rome for two days , Monte Cassino which boasts the most beautiful cathedral, local beaches at Sperlonga are beautiful and old Gaeta town which is well worth a visit. Mary and Salvatore were superb, super responsive in addressing any queries we had. Welcome pack was greatly appreciated. You must have a car to be able to enjoy this villa. Highly recommended

Cristina warmly welcomed us before check-in time to allow us to put our bags down and change us after the trip. The house was perfectly clean and tidy. The kitchen is also very well organized on two levels, so you can make the most of the terrace, which has a beautiful view of the sunset behind Palmarola. Cristina was kind and super helpful with us for any help or information. Thank you very much♥️

michela's accommodation is the perfect solution for those who want to visit the upper part of the island of Ponza. Easily accessible by car, but also strategic for walking through the beautiful coves of the area. Michela is always helpful and kind, highly recommended!

House surrounded by greenery and with spectacular views of the Tyrrhenian sea. Tastefully decorated a little retro typical of Italian seaside houses' 60s: a dip into the past but with all the comforts of today. Very full bedroom furnishings, bathrooms, and kitchen. The host is very courteous, flexible and collaborative. A highly recommended experience and for us to repeat. Marco

This was our second time in this sunny and spacious apartment, which we like very much. There is a large balcony with a view of the sea, a nice kitchen with microwave, small oven, etc. The building is extremely quiet with a small elevator; the beach is just 200 meters away. The location is perfect: there is a 3 minute walk to Conad supermarket and less than 10 minutes to the center of the city. Marco is a wonderful host, very communicative and responsive, who also organised a transport from and back to the Rome airport.

I was so impressed at the extent to which the Host and particularly her sister helped us get settled. As well, they were extremely attentive and helpful when I took ill. They connected me with a local Dr.; went to the pharmacy for me etc.,. They were amazing hosts from beginning to end. As well, the apartment is very spacious and comfortable. What a wonderful place to stay in Gaeta! I couldn’t believe all the extra things in the kitchen for cooking all kinds of meals. I hadn’t seen that in all the other places I stayed in my 90 days in Italy. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos. A quick walk to the beach or down to the port. Massimiliano was an absolutely wonderful host and always quick to help and advise, and a wonderful hairdresser, too! Such a wonderful end to my time in Italy and I will definitely come back to Gaeta! It’s a kid friendly environment with lots of parks and things for families. Gaeta is a must see! Grazie mille a thousand fold!

This is a perfect place to stay. Marco is a wonderful host - so friendly, helpful and responsive. The apartment has everything you would need and ranks at the top of my list for airbnbs. It’s in a perfect location in the center of everything and very walkable to all sites and restaurants in Gaeta. The apartment was larger than I expected and so clean and welcoming. Daniel’s place was immaculate and had everything you’d need and more! His place was pristine, clean, and had excellent heating and air con!! We wish we could have spent longer here! I’d recommend his place in a heartbeat and would definitely stay again!

great location.. small but prefect for a few days.. bed was not comfortable for us, but there the opinions always differ about what comfort is and not. furthermore, it is a super nice village to walk in the evening Bar for coffee drinks and possibly food is around the corner just like a small and somewhat larger supermarket. There was a problem with the gate to the parking lot but fortunately was quickly fixed. Oscar responded right away!!!.

Mrs. Amalia sent me the exact location, explaining that the viability of the country had changed. When we arrived,the lady and her husband gave us detailed directions on where to buy fish, groceries, what to visit nearby, which beaches to frequent. They made us feel comfortable, allowing us to use a covered parking space and leaving their car in the open. Even the various sorted waste, they offered to deposit them on the days of collection. Given their availability and courtesy, two small failures that occurred I provided in person without asking anything but they wanted to reciprocate at all costs with local products purchased specifically. We were very impressed by the hospitality, the cool positions despite the heat, by the details of the apartment that, if possible next year, we will try to return.

The location is excellent. Very comfortable accommodations. Spectacular views of the mountains and ocean. Super responsive host. Very helpful and informative. We really enjoyed our stay in Formia

i stayed 2 nights in Donato's studio and I had a great time. The room is bright, very clean and very comfortable. Communication and hospitality were impeccable. They made them find water in the fridge, capsules x coffee, a kettle with various types of infusions and snacks x breakfast. The room is air-conditioned. Scented linens, towels x days booked and bathroom with a very spacious shower. There is also a hairdryer. and the convenience of the parking space. i recommend it and will definitely be back. 5 deserved stars.

I could not possibly say enough about this rental. It was beautiful, comfortable and the location was amazing. Alessia was very helpful and check in was a breeze. My family and I would love to go back one day and we all agreed that we would rent the same place. Thank you so much for the awesome stay.

Flavia was so incredibly friendly and helpful and kind and she answered all of my many questions patiently and completely. Her English is fantastic. The apartment was spotless and bright and well equipped and it was super easy to walk to the beaches and the historic center from the apt as well as easily either walk or take the bus to the medieval section. On a particularly chilly nite, Flavia made sure I had an extra heater for the kitchen without me even asking (the rest of the apartment had plenty of heat and A/C). Parking was free and super easy which was great because I didn’t use my car once I arrived and never had to worry about parking while I was there. Lastly, the elevator was amazing to have in terms of luggage. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this property. Thanks for everything, Flavia!

We really felt like we were in our own home. The apartment is clean and really cozy. Equipped with everything you need. Giacomo is much more than kind, he recommended us on the best way to get to the apartment (I would not want to write it so as not to pass him for a service included but he came to pick us up at the station and took us back on the day of departure). She gave us directions to amenities and restaurants nearby. Always ready to respond to every request. The best airbnb I've ever lived in. Thank you

Everything was amazing! The house was quiet, clean, comfortable, with a beautiful view. Francesco was super communicative and proactive, he gave us local recommendations and helped with any questions we had. The restaurant he recommended us was amazing - he even made a recommendation for us, making the whole experience seamless. His mom, Paola, was really friendly and helped us navigate the check in, check out, and questions at the airbnb. When they saw us having questions navigating to the train station, they even offered us a ride! Truly the e best hosts ever!

I stayed about 2 weeks in Mrs. Ornella's apartment. Quiet place, clean and quiet apartment, welcoming and with almost all the refined availability. Easily connected to all the necessary utilities and the main streets. I highly recommend the apartment for those who want to regenerate . A applause to Mrs. Ornella who was present, friendly in her responses and available. I'll definitely be back!
