Katherine’s instructions made the cottage easy to find despite its remote and peaceful location. The place was everything we had hoped for and more. A gorgeous cottage with lots of room and yet very cosy vibes, especially when the wood burning stove was going. Enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and the views all around were stunning. The spacious kitchen had all the kit we needed to make a full Christmas dinner. We loved our stay and already planning when we can return.

We had an amazing weekend at Woody's Glamping! As the weather was poor (cold with snow and ice), and we had our baby with us, Tracey kindly offered us the use of her cozy annex instead of the bell tent. So I can't review the tent itself, but I can say we had a wonderful stay thanks to Tracey and James' hospitality. The cooked breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and we had so much fun with the pizza-making experience. We felt so welcome and cared for, highly recommend!

The cabin was exactly as described. Very roomy, comfortable and warm. Immaculately clean and the beds were so comfortable. Kay responded virtually immediately with any questions and we had, and there were no issues at all. The log fire was lovely, once we worked it out 😂, the wood was topped up during the stay. It was a lovely break, thank you so much.

This is the second time me and my partner stayed. It was lovely coming back and having just as a wonderful time as we did the first. Jennifer was very accommodating and quick to respond when questions were asked or requests made. Nothing negative to say other than thank you. It snowed this time around and it was very pretty.

I recently stayed in Alison’s Airbnb and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The property was exactly as listed and the views surrounding the property were picturesque

The cottage was quaint and out of the way, I enjoyed the garden, views & peace. Helen and her husband were friendly and helpful. The little touches like the beautiful cut flowers on the table. Home made goods and little notes left, all made our stay special. Thank you

Amazing place to stay. So clean tidy and very comfortable! Very queit and peaceful. Great location to get about and explore the beautiful surroundings. Lots of land for the dog to run around. Carol is so friendly and is always a message away if need any help. We will definitely be staying again!

We had a wonderful stay at Pinfold Barn! This beautifully restored barn perfectly combines historic charm with modern comfort. The barn is impeccably clean and well-equipped, with a cozy lounge, and thoughtful extras like books and family games. The farmhouse kitchen and three bathrooms, made it the perfect choice for our family. The location is peaceful yet convenient, with stunning views of the surrounding fields and easy access to Nantwich and nearby attractions. On top of all this, the host, Ali, was absolutely wonderful—welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. It’s the ideal countryside retreat for relaxation and quality time with family or friends. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend Pinfold Barn for a truly special getaway!

We had an amazing stay at manons pod, unbelievable location and close enough to Bala to get things you may need. Log burning fire was so nice to get warm and cosy. Also has the cutest collies on the farm which it is next to which was the nicest surprise !!! Ten out of ten would recommend

We had such a lovely stay at Alison and Patrick’s. Stunning location and we were so lucky with the weather which made the views breathtaking. They were really kind and flexible about our check in and check out time which was a great help. And gave super helpful advice about logistics, Conwy Castle is a must see. We had a wonderful few days and hope to come back some time.

Clean, beautiful surroundings, nicely decorated, soft bed, sheep, chickens and ducks about which is nice. Ted (dog) was also there to greet us with a waggy tail. Would definitely return in the future. Thanks for hosting us.

We were in the area for a couple of days so only managed a one night stay and would like to come back. Spacious house, big rooms, private.

We had such a relaxing time staying at the Loki Hut! The cabin was so cozy and peaceful - a perfect place to unwind. On our check-out day, it had snowed a lot, which made everything look even more beautiful, but it did make leaving a bit tricky. Thankfully, Dean, one of our hosts, was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure we got out safely and even helped tow us part of the way! He was so kind and helpful, and it really made such a difference. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting, we couldn’t recommend the Loki Hut more. We’re already excited to come back!

We had a lovely peaceful stay at Sian’s, the cabin was cozy despite the freezing temperatures and the snowy views were beautiful! The town was easy to walk to and we loved meeting the friendly goats!

Had an amazing time at the pod! It’s Just like the pictures and any instructions we needed for the hot tub etc were on an app (that you don’t need wifi for) and were easy to follow. The pod was lovely and cosy and Ceri, our host, was more than happy to help if we needed anything. Although we stayed during a storm (just our luck) we still had a great time playing games and relaxing in the hot tub. Definitely recommend, we will be going back 😁

absolutely stunning views and such a comfortable stay at the lodge. The host was very responsive when I messaged and check-in and out was very straight forward. It is very remote so just didn't stay out when dark with not knowing the area but if went when had more daylight hours we would be out and exploring the beautiful area. Will definately look at staying again and a lovely way to bring in 2025.

Julia was very helpful throughout the whole stay. The farmhouse was lovely and the local area had everything we needed. The house was very cold at first but after speaking to the host it was all sorted. Would definitely recommend.

No better hosts than Helen & Tony, thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful holiday cottage. This picturesque property is nestled amongst fields of horses, rare breeds sheep and stunning countryside. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean, cosy, welcoming and is of grand proportions. It is situated within a period courtyard and within easy walking distance to lovely river/ woodland walks… do extend your walk to end at the ‘Sugar Plum Tearooms’ in nearby Rhewl … a real treat! The log burner only added to the ‘zen’ surroundings and the unexpected snowfall created a perfect ‘winter wonderland’ that we all enjoyed … seeing the distant snow capped Clwydian mountain range from the comfort of the living room, was absolutely breathtaking. An ultra comfy bed made for refreshing sleeps and little homely touches around the cottage made the place feel ‘loved’. A wonderful break away… we will return.

A perfect stay in beautiful surroundings. The place is spotless and so homely, the little extra touches really added to our experience, we had fresh eggs and welsh cakes for breakfast and enjoyed some fizz next to the log fire in the evening. The walk to the pub was short and scenic and the pub itself is a must visit! We stayed for Christmas Day and it was just wonderful. The cottage has everything you need. We’ve already talked about staying next year in the summer.

I can not recommend this lodge enough. It's perfectly private and myself and family even had a little sing on karoke over Xmas. My little nephew loved seeing the horses and goats. The hosts were lovely. Renting the lodge gave myself an opportunity to host Xmas and Boxing Day dinner for my family who all had a lovely time. I would definitely come back here again. The hosts give off a very friendly, welcoming nature. The lodge is very well equipped and the mattresses are extremely comfy

I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough It had everything we could have possibly needed for the perfect weekend away and in the perfect location

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

we had a great stay here very functional, from garden we loved, especially first night as with no light pollution stars were amazing even saw a couple shooting stars ✨️ everything you need in this property for a very comfortable stay and a little bit more... Nice little welcome treat too 😋 bed comfortable, shower brilliant we go walking and so many walks right on your doorstep here although we had already planned the loggerheads country park walk before we came recommend the Drovers Arms for food we had a delicious meal there on the Saturday (hint book in advance) we did and it was fully booked the eve we went lovely views of tge Clwydian Range from the garden, bedroom and lounge would recommend this AirBnB 👌
