Amazing dual aspect views across the River Dee onto the Welsh Hills and out to the Irish Sea. Property has been refurbished to a very high standard. We have done our upmost to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing stay. Within walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the coastal walk. Our 3 bedroomed house is situated in a semi rural situation, in the historical village of Irby. Here you will find 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, shops and amenities. We are close to a number of beaches including Thurstaston and West Kirby, and are within 300 metres of Thurstaston common which provides wonderful walks through the ancient woods of Roydon Park. There are a number of golf courses on our doorstep, including Caldy, Royal Liverpool and Wallasey.

Wonderful few days here celebrating our 10yr wedding anniversary. The pod was brilliant with everything we could have needed and the perfect spot to combine relaxation and exploring! We enjoyed a meal and No.11 Ruthin one night and ventured to Aber falls for a circular walk the following day. The pod provided the ideal space to rest and recharge surrounded by beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend! X

Our expectations were immediately exceeded. The location is beautiful, the facilities are exactly what you'd hope for when you're investing in a glamping/outdoor stay. Joe was superbly helpful, even coming down during our stay to make sure the hot tub was lit and ready for use in the evening. Really superb, and somewhere I look forward to revisiting.

Amazing stay at Heron’s View with the rolling hills, private enclosed garden and enclosed meadow for the dog to run around. The house was warm and cosy decorated for Christmas, the bed was comfortable and modern decor throughout. A countryside retreat whilst only 5 mins from the town of Ruthin and its conveniences.

Everything about the cottage was wonderful. Great location, clean, tidy, there is everything you could possibly need. We were greeted by Tony who gave us a detailed walk round, we also had a lovely welcome pack ready and waiting - delicious Welsh cakes, milk, fresh eggs and Prosecco. Lovely (but expensive) pub in walking distance and not far for some great activities including Zip World. Thank you for a great stay, we would definitely return.

A beautiful, cozy cottage in a great location for visiting lots of places. It was incredibly clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Gaby was extremely kind and accommodating for our 8 month old daughter. I would highly recommend this air bnb for a family with a baby and would definitely return when back in the area!

Amazing place! This is a must book! Beautiful views of the coastline and dark starry nights. The pool and hot tub was incredible and such a luxury to use at anytime. The pool room was so warm and relaxing it felt like you were abroad on holiday as soon as you stepped through the door. Tracey is a lovely host and always on hand if you need anything. Best holiday ever - we are so relaxed!

Absolutely loved our stay, could have stayed much longer! Lots of space for our children, everything you could possibly need, beautiful kitchen/diner where we ate and played a tense game of monopoly!! Paul was super helpful when we needed his help to unlock the door, despite his clear instructions, i blame weariness from our long day of travel 😆 beds were super comfy and the living room was a lovely space to relax together and watch a movie. Would recommend to anyone for their Welsh adventure.

We had a lovely weekend at the caravan. Tina and her husband were wonderful, responsive and super helpful hosts. The caravan was absolutely spotless and was so homely, we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. It’s on a lovely quiet spot in the holiday park. The children loved the swimming pool, playground and mini golf and we had some lovely walks nearby. We hope to return for a second visit!

Really lovely stay with Richard and Paola. Richard was on hand all the time and is very laid back! The hot tub was immaculate; nicest one I’ve experienced at an Airbnb. Comfy beds, huge bedrooms and lovely bathrooms. Living space is small but with the outside space was perfect for us. Lovely log burner and everything was easy to use.

Anvil Cottage was the perfect retreat for my partner's birthday! We were looking for a cosy, relaxing weekend getaway and the cottage exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the coziness and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home and the pictures don’t it justice as others have mentioned. The highlight without a doubt was the private hot tub. After a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding area, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal: close enough to lots of lovely Welsh Villages where you can find some equally lovely pubs, restaurants and shops, yet secluded enough to feel like a proper escape. Lots of gorgeous walks and scenery to explore. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the small touches provided by Helen who was brilliant from start to finish. A truly memorable birthday celebration and we would highly recommend to others.
