A fantastic setting and a beautiful house with all that we needed for our stay. Warm, cosy with great showers. It was very satisfying to know that we were off grid and with all the convenience of home. Thanks for a great stay!

My partner and I stayed on the island for 4 nights over Easter weekend, and were completely enchanted by Gometra and the bothy. It was easier than we expected to get there, with the helpful community transport available on Mull, and the on-demand ferry between Mull and Ulva. A gentle 3.5 hr hike from Ulva Ferry, the bothy was easy to find, located at the foot of a crag with a beautiful view of the coast. The well-stocked honesty shop was around 1km away, making it easy to pick up what we needed for meals each day. The island was very peaceful, occasionally running into Roc and Rhoda, while Andy kept us well stocked with firewood . Our hosts were very responsive to messages and made a remote stay feel very easy to accomplish! The wood-burning stove was an absolute must, and we enjoyed being off grid and electricity-free for a long weekend of exploring, reading and relaxing.

An incredible place. I couldn’t have asked for a better location to spend an amazing weekend in Mull in the sunshine. Particular highlights were the deer outside the window in the morning, a golden eagle flying overhead, and incredible sunsets every evening. Thank you so much to Celia and family for being so welcoming and having me. A weekend I won’t forget for a long time!

Loved our stay at Maureen's place. It was charming and lovely touches like fresh flowers. An excellent host who gave great recommendations for our stay. Peaceful surroundings, and we even managed to enjoy a drink in the garden despite all the rain. Car would be essential to stay here and do your big shop before you come and you'll be sorted.
