A phenomenal location with stunning views. Great for families with tons of room for the kids and lots of places for people to roam. Lots of birdsong from New Zealands native birds every day and the sound of waves crashing into the shore is very soothing. Just be aware that the toilet and shower are both detached from the crib itself, which I missed in the initial description.

Great value for money. A beautiful place

The house is exactly as described and photos. We were there on a Sunday & Monday so local cafe was closed, but fish & chip van was operating. We also had lunch at Curio Bay and dinner at Lumberjack at Owaka, so if you don’t want to cook at home there are plenty of options. Steph messaged to let us know the house was ready early and about a local water issue which was much appreciated. Great verandah for a pleasant afternoon relax. Trudy

I don’t think I can adequately communicate how special this place is! We felt as if we had the entire beach to ourselves (and the sea lions) yet a cozy little refuge when the weather got rough. And enough cannot be said about how amazing the location is. Well worth the trip from the other side of the world!
