Don't expect luxuries or modern spaces. This house is a Costa Rican royal home. It felt like visiting grandparents, in a good sense of the word. It has details created with love and love. It feels like a home. The kitchen is very well equipped (we only missed the sugar). Some areas already require maintenance, but it is compensated with the large gardens and the singing of the birds. The area is very hot and humid, so the house remains that way. But, nothing extreme. It was fine by turning on the fans. We were in the rainy season, so it's best to have the repellent on hand. If we loved the location in a midpoint between Golfito and Paso Canoas and very close to supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants, bakery, everything!. Our trip was shopping, watching whales, going to the beach and getting to know the area more. For so much rain we can't go to the viewpoints, but it will be a good excuse to go in the dry season. We had time to learn more.

Rick and Lori's is the perfect getaway spot, right on the beautiful and usually empty Playa Zancudo with lots of amenities within a short distance, shop, bar, and restaurant. They were very helpful, providing lists of numbers for all your needs in the local area. The apartment is perfect for 2 or 3 and the place is a tranquil oasis with amazing natural beauty on view straight from the balcony.
