Very nice house with a pool and a big garden, everything is clean and comfortable. I can only recommend to stay here. We will definitely do so :)

Spacious and clean home with beautiful mountain views. All amenities are nearby and the place is easy to access because it's close to expressways. The only downside is the road in front of the house which is very busy day and night (maybe related to having been there in the middle of August). We had a pleasant stay and Hélder is responsive and accommodating. I would recommend it!

We stayed for 4 days. It took us a little to find the site because there are several places that are called the same in the area, but as soon as we called them by phone they gave us all the facilities to get there and it was a very warm and pleasant welcome. Abilio and his family are very kind and have been attentive at all times. The house is very convenient and close to tourist sites to visit: Braga, Guimaraes, Valença… at night, in July, it made us cool, but we were phenomenal.

Estadia was great, it's a perfect place for hot summer days with swimming pool and several balconies overlooking nature. Very friendly hosts. Site clean and well received by us. I hope to have another stay again.

Lara was very friendly and responded very quickly and with clear instructions before, during and after the trip. We loved the house, very spacious, many stays. The beds and pillows a pass, super comfortable and there were also more pillows and blankets in the closets. Maybe the car access was a little tedious and had to manoeuvre but 2 big cars fit perfectly. It's unfortunate that the garden was not suitable for being outside and enjoying it, just like the barbecue. But overall it was in superb experience. Thank you for everything.

From the start, Fernando and Liliana were incredibly helpful hosts, answering all our questions in a timely manner and doing their best to accommodate all our requests and needs. We were greeted with swift entry to the house upon landing and a welcome basket on arrival. When there was any issue, Liliana either repaired it quickly or tried her best to help. The house itself is in the most serene location, literally across the street from the sea with ample sandy beaches in either direction. It’s also a very short walking distance from cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops, nature reserve, surfing schools and a playground. There’s parking for at least 3 cars on the drive and free parking all around the house. Immediately opposite the house is a bus stop and scooter corral where you can hire speedy scooters for cruising the boardwalk. The west-facing house is treated to glorious sunsets each evening. The street in front of the house is one-way and incredibly quiet. A great house! Thank you!

My family and I had a lovely time at Quinta do Vale da Ermida. Very quiet and peaceful location with a stunning view, especially from the pool. Very spacious and equipped with all the amenities we required for our stay. Last but not least, Catarina was always very responsive, helpful, and proactive in her communication with us. Would definitely recommend!

The house is just wonderful, we really loved it, spacious and beautiful. The view is also amazing. We were a family of six people celebrating a 60th birthday. Included in the stay is a breakfast which is such a bonus, the grocery store is about 15 minute drive away so it was great to have this service. Adriana was just wonderful, she attended to our needs with help from google translate. Our only problem was that we could not stay longer, we had to leave two days sooner than planned because of wildfire situation in Portugal. It was stressful not to know how the situation would evolve and a little difficult to understand what was best for us to do. The host was understanding in these circumstances and communications were good. I highly recommend this house, just bring loads of food and stay there in the serenity of the beautiful surroundings. Swimming pool and outdoor area is excellent. I would love to come back with my family and stay a whole week:)

Amazing place and location

What an EXTRAORDINARY accommodation Casa Marmelo was for our group of 8 adults when visiting the Douro valley !!! Host Kate was super to work -- right from our initial contact for information through our date of departure. What an excellent WELCOME GUIDE she provided before our arrival - with valuable tips and suggestions for activities and dining throughout the area. Housekeeper Helene too could not have been more kind, charming, and helpful. What delicious breakfasts she made for us each morning. The entire property was kept so clean and tidy. What a memorable time we all had -- we all hope to be back!

We came to Antonio’s place to relax with our family for a few days after the wedding, before heading out to our honeymoon. There are no words to describe how beautiful and perfect this place is! The house is clean, peaceful, and the breakfast is INCREDIBLE. The fact that we could wake up every morning to the birds chirping, fresh air, and a whole table of fresh cheese, meat, bread, jams, yogurt, fruit, tea, coffee, etc. was one of the best parts of this trip. Maria and Antonio are extremely kind and helpful. If you’re on the fence, I promise you won’t regret staying in this sanctuary!

Loved our stay! Great location, definitely needed a car to get around. The host was extremely communicative and always answered any questions. Definitely recommend!

Very nice house, the caretaker Olivia was very welcoming and did us a favor. The estate is very large, many more peaceful (shaded corner, large pool...) there is a very nice dog who stayed with us during our stay. The only small downside is the automatic watering which is not too often too often, which is not necessarily necessary sometimes. I recommend this vacation rental with friends in Portugal! ☺️

We had a great time, the house is very large with quality materials, with space for everyone, the pool is large , shops are 6 km away by car, one of the best houses we have rented , we will come back, thank you to the host who welcomes us, very friendly and smiling .

We are really happy with our vacation… the place is just a paradise! So much better in real life than in the photo... the house is very well equipped, 3 bathrooms, 3 toilets, really everything you need (except washing machine) the paradise garden, very green, large, fruits everywhere, 2 swings, the pool is huge 🤩 the view is crazy, the owners are incredibly kind!! The managers always have good addresses… frankly amazing!! We highly recommend this area, this location and meeting these people who are great! Thank You
