House vacation rentals in Fayetteville

My family and I came here from Massachusetts. I grew up near here and wanted to show them. At the same time we chose the same week as the WV State Fair. Rick’s farmhouse was perfect! It’s a lovely, updated house in a rural, rustic setting and we loved it! The private pool and lake took this rental to the next level! In the evenings we cooked on the grill, sat on the porch and listened to music and the played games and put Lego sets together. A very quiet, peaceful vacation!

Sherry has a beautiful home with a large pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The interior was spacious, clean, and well decorated! It felt like a trip to the beach without leaving the mountains. I would recommend this home to anyone planning a vacation around Fayetteville.

This house makes an ideal base for exploring the New River Gorge! The pool/hot tub and upstairs lift were perfect play spaces for the kids, and the house was comfortable and stylish. We loved being able to walk into town, and having hikes and attractions a short drive away. Absolutely recommend!

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

Absolutely amazing Airbnb, wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Not only is it an incredible stay in an actual airplane hanger, but Ashley and her husband have included every amenity you can think. From the indoor fireplace, tvs, and stellar decorations, to the outdoor pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit, you’ll never be short of things to do. We loved watching planes come and go on the private airstrip, we can’t wait to come back and book a flight on the biplane! Highly, highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourselves !

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

several family members came from different states for a memorial service. this place was perfect for our group. we especially loved the back porch and the fire pit. Lura was a perfect host. we look forward to gathering there again. nice home with beautiful grounds

The NRG Pool House was nothing short of amazing! We had a big group down to enjoy some whitewater rafting and this was the ideal place for us to call home for the weekend. The kitchen is a dream, the numerous beds comfy, and all amenities that we needed for cooking, cleaning, and enjoying were there. Elissa was so nice and extremely communicative throughout our stay, our check-in/check-out was flawless and we immediately felt at home walking in. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place in the heart of the beautiful New River Gorge area! Comfy beds and great amenities. The bird feeder out back attracted tons of blue jays, cardinals, and various other birds. That was entertaining to watch in the morning. Thank you heather!

Rachel was a great host, and the house was exactly as described. The location was perfect to serve as a home base for climbing in the new river gorge. We climbed at Junkyard, Sandstonia, and Summersville Lake. We did not have to drive far to get to any of these locations. Additionally, there is a grocery store just a couple of minutes away. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Great experience!

This is one the best AirBnB’s I’ve ever stayed at. So many personal touches, beds were extremely comfortable, and the place just felt like a home away from home. The local recommendations were spot on and we had such a great trip. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area!

perfect location for National Park exploration. Within walking distance of two excellent trails, and a short drive to the park. host thought of almost everything to inlcude in the space. fun two days in WV!

Pictures do not do this home justice. The space was beautiful and calm. April and Josh were super thoughtful leaving coffee, packaged toothbrushes and some detergent available for us. The well thought out layout, cleanliness and location make this place five stars. I was super pleased to find this gem and look forward to returning every time we visit WV.

We (2 adults) stayed for 3+ months and I can’t think of a single negative thing to say. I love the NRG area and this was a fantastic spot to adventure from, close to all the outdoor activities but closer to groceries, restaurants, gym, etc. We also WFH and this house was quiet with a dedicated work space. The cleanliness when we checked in was top-notch, and the whole interior feels recently renovated so we really felt like we were living in a new house. Plenty of room for us to spread out when we needed space and for a couple friends to be able to stay short term. With a mostly finished basement there was plenty of room for all of our trail gear to spread out and be easily accessible for us daily too. And with a walkout to a garage that we had access to, loading and unloading the car from our day trips was so easy. The master bedroom with blackout curtains got so dark that I slept better than I have in years. We really loved this place and would stay again any time.

We had a wonderful time. Ruth was very helpful and responded quickly. The farm house and surroundings were beautiful. Deer can to visit us almost everyday. There was plenty of parking and location is close to town, but still peaceful and private. Love everything about the farm. Would come again. Sharon & Jerry

Debbie’s house is in a good, central location to Fayetteville and Beckley, so there’s no shortage of places to see or go and all within 25 minutes. The area itself around the house is quiet and easy to navigate to and from. The house was clean as well and she even took the time to go in before we arrived and turn on the heat and lay out supplies for us to make hot cocoa and snacks! She was very accommodating as we checked in late and had to leave a bit early, but her instructions were clear and her property was well worth the money we paid for it (better than any hotel in the area for the price).

It was a wonderful stay! The hostess immediately responded when I couldn't follow the entry instructions. The house was pristine and clean, and the beds and couches were comfortable. There were kitchen utensils for use, including a coffee maker, which is a must for our family. We enjoyed climbing in Summersville Lake and plan to return for our next trip.

We had a great time staying at Isabel's place. The location was fantastic - perfect for Bridge Day and as a home base for other activities in the National Park. The home is very spacious, and our son really enjoyed the ping pong table and darts in the basement!

Jessie’s house was a perfect meet up for friends and our young families over a long weekend. The house was very clean, spacious, and accommodating, and best of all had spectacular views of the gorge. Would happily stay here again.

Colleen is a great host and we appreciate her being flexible for us. The house is tucked back on her property that is right next to the National Park. You can hop on an extensive network of trails right from the property. Other popular hikes and Fayetteville are just a minutes away!

Had a wonderful Christmas 🎄 get together with my adult children and grandchildren. Beautiful home. Everyone is asking to come back this summer! Amazing place!!!
