House vacation rentals in Fayetteville

My family and I came here from Massachusetts. I grew up near here and wanted to show them. At the same time we chose the same week as the WV State Fair. Rick’s farmhouse was perfect! It’s a lovely, updated house in a rural, rustic setting and we loved it! The private pool and lake took this rental to the next level! In the evenings we cooked on the grill, sat on the porch and listened to music and the played games and put Lego sets together. A very quiet, peaceful vacation!

Sherry has a beautiful home with a large pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The interior was spacious, clean, and well decorated! It felt like a trip to the beach without leaving the mountains. I would recommend this home to anyone planning a vacation around Fayetteville.

This place was an amazing winter get away! Still did some hiking and enjoyed the hot tub. Made the trip easy for pets with the fenced in yard. Walkable to restaurants. We loved the Gaines estate and Erin’s place we definitely want to come back!!! 10/10 review

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

Absolutely amazing Airbnb, wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Not only is it an incredible stay in an actual airplane hanger, but Ashley and her husband have included every amenity you can think. From the indoor fireplace, tvs, and stellar decorations, to the outdoor pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit, you’ll never be short of things to do. We loved watching planes come and go on the private airstrip, we can’t wait to come back and book a flight on the biplane! Highly, highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourselves !

Meeting up with family for thanksgiving. Everything we needed to cook a feast was there. It’s a great place plan to return

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

We booked this house for the pool, and it did not disappoint! I was worried the water might be chilly due to the weather outside, but the pool temperature was perfect. We also appreciated the abundance of beach towels and pool toys. Another aspect of this rental that I appreciated is how child-friendly it is. The door to the pool is securely locked and needs a code, which gave us peace of mind with our kids. The rest of the house is cozy and comfortable yet doesn't have a lot of unnecessary decor and clutter, which is a huge relief when you have a crazy 2 year old who tends to bounce off the walls. We brought our own food, and the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils we needed. The gas range was super nice to cook on! All in all, the house is comfortable and family-friendly, and you can tell the hosts focus on convenience and comfort for their guests. Instructions were posted everywhere and the host responded quickly to texts. Highly recommend!

You can tell Heather takes great care of the place. It was very clean and tidy. Cute little space, perfect for our half way point to get to where we were going. I would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy and well appointed home! The kitchen had everything you might need, the dining table was roomy, and there were so many common areas and tables to sit, do a puzzle, or work on a craft. The couch is also super comfy and easily accommodated our group of 7. We were visiting during a bit of a snowstorm and I cannot imagine a cozier place to hole up during some winter weather. The beds were all cozy with lovely sheets and blankets and the whole house stayed nice and warm even with single digit temps outside. Every detail had been thought of and planned for, with helpful notes all over. The host was kind, responsive, and proactive as we planned for some dicey weather. I can't recommend this lovely home highly enough and can't wait to come back soon!

Stayed overnight on a road trip Everyhting was great.

Stayed while on business. I nice older home. It was a quiet place with nice extras like coffee, creamer, snacks, laundry detergent, etc. Communication was excellent. On street parking was no issue. Hope to stay again

Jessica’s place was perfect for our girls trip. She is so responsive and helpful with recommendations. We enjoyed many restaurants, bars and hikes she recommended. It was about 10-15 min away from the bridge, Fayetteville restaurants and trails. When we arrived at the home it was easy to get in and they left a few lights on for us. You could tell every detail was well thought out from all the cute decor pieces to the comfortable bedding. The home had everything we needed and more. We plan to stay there again for our next trip to the area!

perfect location for National Park exploration. Within walking distance of two excellent trails, and a short drive to the park. host thought of almost everything to inlcude in the space. fun two days in WV!

Very clean home in a great location! The only issue we had was with the driveway. It was a little steep and bumpy, but we made it up even in our 2 wheel drive car.

We stayed here for a week after our grandsons birth. This is a beautiful house. It is close to several grocery stores and a multitude of restaurants. And at the same time on a very quiet and peaceful street. We truly loved how the house was decorated and the pictures of scenic areas of West Virginia were beautiful. The office downstairs made it very easy to work from home and the loaded bookshelf made a great Zoom background. Stephen was very responsive to a couple questions I had. Great house and a great host! We will absolutely stay here again.

Kristoffer was extremely accommodating with everything in the home and with communication! It was beautiful in the winter and we would like to go back in the summer. The entire home was comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could need just like you're at home, we were able to play some board/card games with a movie. Highly recommend :)

Great place. Old, in a charming way, unbeatable location, spacious yard for kids to run around in. Clean! Well stocked kitchen, nice towels. Cordial owner. Nothing bad to say.

It was a wonderful stay! The hostess immediately responded when I couldn't follow the entry instructions. The house was pristine and clean, and the beds and couches were comfortable. There were kitchen utensils for use, including a coffee maker, which is a must for our family. We enjoyed climbing in Summersville Lake and plan to return for our next trip.

I am very particular about where I stay. We would definitely stay here again. This is a very old home with a lot of character. It was truly like staying at a friends house. Very cozy. There are 3 bedrooms and a comfy couch. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The linens and towels are not brand new, which was a bonus because they were super soft and comfy. They were all clean and fresh and smelled wonderful. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Wii U. Karen was more than helpful and was super attentive and happy to help us with anything we needed. I was concerned that with it being a pet friendly rental that it would smell like dogs but it definitely did not. The trains do come by often. If you wear ear plugs they won't bother you at all. Honestly we enjoyed them. They are close enough to see and hear but not so loud that they hurt your ears. Our kids and family definitely recommend this rental.

Perfect location! Peaceful and surrounded by woods while close enough to drive into Fayetteville and sample all the local restaurants. Colleen was very responsive and able to answer all of our questions.

This is our second stay and we loved our second stay as much as our first. House has all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean, neat, organized, and comfortable furniture. The hosts are very thoughtful, attentive, and accompaning. Look forward to our third year.
