Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Fayetteville

Super clean, good space for our group of six! Close to New River Gorge and other towns. Highly recommend 👍🏻

My family and I came here from Massachusetts. I grew up near here and wanted to show them. At the same time we chose the same week as the WV State Fair. Rick’s farmhouse was perfect! It’s a lovely, updated house in a rural, rustic setting and we loved it! The private pool and lake took this rental to the next level! In the evenings we cooked on the grill, sat on the porch and listened to music and the played games and put Lego sets together. A very quiet, peaceful vacation!

Our stay at Cardinal Cottage was nothing short of amazing, from the welcoming deer on arrival to the snowfall on our last day. The cottage was spacious, cozy, and perfect for our family of six and two dogs, with thoughtful touches that made it extra special. We enjoyed the property’s sledding hills and left a couple of red sleds for future guests to enjoy. Michelle was an outstanding host - kind, attentive, and responsive. This was definitely one of our favorite Airbnb stays, and we look forward to coming back in the future! Highly recommend!

This place was an amazing winter get away! Still did some hiking and enjoyed the hot tub. Made the trip easy for pets with the fenced in yard. Walkable to restaurants. We loved the Gaines estate and Erin’s place we definitely want to come back!!! 10/10 review

I rented Myla's place in Lookout for the first 2 weeks of December, so I had a lot of time to settle in and get comfortable and really "live" there (versus just a night or two). The pictures of the place are 100% accurate. The house had everything to make it really feel comfortable and like a home. Myla even had Christmas lights and a Christmas tree! The things I really loved about the place was the outdoor space and especially the hot tub--it's so nice to sit in a hot tub when there's snow on the ground. I also really enjoyed and used the fireplace almost daily--it really made the place warm and cozy and there's nothing like a fireplace in the winter. I worked remotely during my stay, and the internet connectivity/speed was great--no issues having my 5 different devices connected at the same time. The location was in a very private and peaceful spot, but very close to the New River Gorge Bridge, hiking, etc. I will definitely look to make my way back in the summer!

Christina’s place was fantastic! We are locals who always look for a local short term rental to celebrate our son’s birthday. This house was a gem. The boys enjoyed the game room and theater room both. We watched the fight all together in the theatre room and all fit on the huge sectional couch. The bedrooms are all spacious and have nice big TVs in them. We didn’t get to use the hot tub but it looked very inviting. Christina was very accommodating and friendly. Communication was perfect. We hope to come again next year! Thanks Christina!

This place was perfect for our wedding weekend at The Gaines Estate and everything is super walkable. The fire pit was perfect for hanging out with our friends and family in the evenings. Everything was super clean and the house was cozy. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful winter getaway for a weekend girls trip. Peaceful neighborhood close to the New River Gorge for hiking and Fayetteville restaurants. The hot tub was so relaxing, and the games were a lot of fun. Great host! They were very communicative, and generously offered another nights stay because of the snowstorm. We had a great trip, and would come back again!

Wayne's chalet is so charming, and so much thought has been put into every detail. The only thing we really needed to bring was our clothes, laundry detergent, and firewood. Everything else was provided. We could have spent the entire trip (in December) at the chalet and enjoyed ourselves, but there is so much to do in the area we had to get out and explore. The only issue we had was low water in the hot tub, and Wayne had the issue corrected within 2 hours! We will definitely return in the summer and/or the fall.

This cabin was spectacular! We were surprised how big and open the space is. Much larger than the photos convey. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, though we cooked a lot and could have used a couple more dish towels. But that was not a big deal at all, because we were able to do laundry as needed. The weather was perfect all week and we enjoyed the hot tub and gazing at beautiful stars! We got to see tons of deer roaming the woods. So sweet! The only slight hiccup was that the master bed was extremely hard, like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Some people like that kind of thing and think of it as therapeutic, but it was a bit much for us. Other than that, the trails are lovely, the property is extremely private and so very peaceful. Just what our stressed out selves needed to rest and recoup from the demands of work and life! We highly recommend this lovely cabin!

This cabin is our favorite spot! We have been coming yearly and will continue to come. It never gets old and there’s always something to do.

I really enjoyed my stay! I had a little trouble with finding the place at first, it was dark and I’m terrible with directions. But Michael was very responsive and helped me immediately! The cabin was so cute and cozy. We really enjoyed the hot tub! I will be coming back!

We loved our Christmas getaway at Papaw's Cabin. everything was as described and we enjoyed using the hot tub during our stay. For those who are technically minded and care about Internet connection, we were getting over 200 Mbps which was more than enough for our whole family to stream our choice of entertainment without any buffering. We loved being just down the road from Fayetteville, where we were able to get everything we needed to feed ourselves during our stay. As a recommendation, Pies and Pints in Fayetteville is well worth a visit. We only needed to reach out to Kristi once during our stay and she responded promptly, within a few minutes, and we were able to resolve our struggle easily,.which turned out to be our stupidity rather than anything being wrong. Overall, if you are looking for somewhere to escape for a few days, Papaw's Cabin is well worth considering. Thank you Kristi.

The cabin is a nice get away from city life tucked back on a quiet country road. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great stay overall, would recommend to a friend! We were climbing in New River Gorge Proper and Summerville, and the house served as a great basecamp. The 2nd floor loft is a very cozy retreat! My only notes are that the interior lighting could use some improvement (low lamps instead of overhead lighting), and blackout curtains would be nice to insulate sleepers from passing headlights. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs & eye mask to block out the road noise & light.

We loved our stay and Laura was so responsive and had fabulous attention to detail. This place is amazing and great for a large group - so many spaces to gather and hang out. An example of her attention to detail was up to date communication about the weather and putting out pet safe salt for our furry friend!
