I had a very nice stay. The host was very friendly and gave me many tips on what to do. The pool was clean and cleaned. The room is beautiful and the view as promised with a view of the sea. Of course, a little further away but everything very nice. With access directly to the upper summer terrace, I enjoyed the evening with a glass of wine that I received as a welcome gift. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

My wife and I spent 12 days at Bert En Els’ place and it was amazing from the beginning to the end. The house is amazing, very charming, cozy, and makes you fell very welcome. It was the most clean airbnb/hotel, we’ve ever stayed. The pool, the garden, the trees, a perfect Quinta, very well located. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruits, juice, sweets, homemade bread. The hostes, Bert and Els, are a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful, always ready for the guests, always with a smile on the face. Very nice people. Ah, and Kira, the guardian of the place, is a nice and friendly dog, that is also always welcoming the guests, we miss her already. Looking forward to comeback! Eduardo & Elisa

A really special place with lots of charm& great staff! We enjoyed our stay here and felt very comfortable. There was a delicious breakfast in a very special atmosphere. If you are looking for luxury & immaculate cleanliness, you will definitely not be happy here, as the house is outdated & smells accordingly and cobwebs could be found here and there. But all in all a really great place to stay in a cozy & family atmosphere with very very good value for money!

Josep and Carla are truly amazing! They have such a positive vibe and so super kind! They were always there when we needed something, but at the same time we felt we had a lot of privacy all the time. And the breakfasts we got were incredibly good! The property is very clean and has stunning views over the ocean (the sunsets from the rooftop terrace are truly magical). The location is also perfect; right in front of the beautiful boardwalk that leads to super nice little beaches. Restaurants and shops are all walking distance, but it is very quiet at night. A place where you can really relax! We would definitely stay there again! Thanks so much Josep and Carla!

Great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit! Great breakfasts, made with fresh, local and homemade produce. A perfect location for outstanding sunsets, starry nights, local historic towns and an array of beautiful and well served beaches within 30 mins by car. A peaceful, relaxed and very safe area in beautiful grounds. The amenities were superb, comfortable, clean, everything was in good working condition. The shared kitchen was well stocked with a range of utensils and some shared basic ingredients. The barbecue and outdoor dining area was fantastic and equally suited to private dining or socialising with other guests (many of whom were repeat visitors). The pool was lovely and offered outstanding views across the region. The breakfast offered a wonderful range of fresh, homemade or local produce. The perfect holiday! But what made it truly outstanding was the warmth and care of the hosts, whose presence was unobtrusive but so welcoming to all their guests and their pets. Inspirational people, informed by international perspectives, conveying a genuine love for this beautiful country.

A really good stay! Only a 10/15 minute walk from the main center and the beaches! Simao gives amazing suggestions upon check-in as well.

Great spot, good vibes and friendly people

The stay was an absolute dream. From the first moment, we felt right at home. Chantal and her husband are incredibly attentive and very friendly. They were always helpful and exude a pleasant aura. The place itself is a dream and worth every euro. We will definitely be back – that was certainly not our last stay at this property.

People as caring as good tips. The environment they created is ideal and soothing, everything is there. Splendid places in the area are easy to access. We'll be back, probably... In short, don't hesitate to spend some of your time in this place!

Corinne and Patrick are great hosts, very hospitable, friendly and welcoming! Their villa is a small paradise in a good location for visiting the Algarve and southern Portugal. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean, impeccable and up to date! Everything looks new. It is possible to socialize from time to time with Corinne and Patrick and other travelers or simply enjoy the pool or balcony with the superb view and beautiful sunset. We enjoyed our stay very much! It makes us want to come back eventually.

A beautiful oasis of Moroccan style Moorish colours. Exquisite hospitality. Fresh and plentiful breakfast supplied free of charge every morning. One of the most relaxing and comfortable short term rentals I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. 100% worth it. Yes, it's a bit out of the way but I couldn't recommend this place more. We stayed in Room #2 which I believe is the King adjacent to the pool. The decor was so well done. The breakfast is delicious and hospitality was amazing. We had an early bus ride back to Lisbon and Marlene packed us some snacks for our journey back which saved us a lot of trouble. Some small details that I don't think other people have mentioned, the water pressure is great in the shower and you won't have a problem with hot water. Simply a great experience here. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the horses across the field! Ubers are super cheap and they had no problem getting to this location. We rented a car for a day and had no problem parking. There was plenty of space and room for more. Couldn't recommend Marlene's place more and it was easily the best AirBNB experience we had in Portugal by far.

Estelle and Carlos were very attentive and great hosts. They fulfilled every wish and were very accommodating. The house is modernly decorated and feels very comfortable and welcoming. We can recommend the place 100%.

This gem of a bnb exceeded all our expectations. Markus and Chris are wonderful and attentive hosts and made us feel very much at home. The apartment is clean, comfortable and decorated with care. The sunny terrace is an absolute plus and the fresh breakfast every morning deserves more than the five stars we're allowed to give, even if it were only for the home made sourdough bread. The location is peaceful and quiet, and a great base from which to drive to different places across the Algarve, guided among other things by the good recommendations of our hosts for things to do and see in the area. We had an amazing stay, would 100% recommend this beautiful place and hope to come back some day!

Spacious, clean room with its own fridge and private balcony. Extensive breakfast buffet. Great base for discovering Lagos.

From the property you can explore the Algarve by car. The Vila is very nice, quietly located and easily accessible. Everything was as described and we felt very comfortable.
