Lake house vacation rentals in False River

We thoroughly enjoyed our friends stay at this quaint, cozy, clean camp on False River. The sunrises and sunsets were fabulous and sitting around the fire pit was so relaxing! Would definitely return! Thanks for making us feel welcomed and the fine hospitality!

We have stayed at numerous AirBnB's but this one was absolutely the best and the Host was the best we have dealt with. A incident occurred in route to this home that made us a day late getting there, of which Keith compensated us for our loss even though this was not even close to his problems he took it on board and assisted us immensely going as far as asking us if we were ok financially. All of this and the home was absolutely perfect and will definitely stay again. Just when you though the world was turning to crap....in walks a gentleman like Keith and all just seems to change. I know I am praising Keith in this review but the host is very important when traveling to new locations. The home? Well it was in a FANTASTIC location, Clean, and very quiet. Job well done Keith......All who are reading this LOCK IT IN NOW! You won't regret it!

Our short family trip here was a perfect, self-contained getaway – we didn't leave until checkout! The home is beautifully designed, fresh, laid out well, and completely appointed with everything we could need. The kitchen was a joy, especially the gas stove and griddle, and was stocked with all essentials and thoughtful extras, like equipment for longer stays and organized food storage. We spent the perfect weather days enjoying the porch and sundeck, watching the ducks, pelicans, and other birds, and even fishing with the convenient prepared rods. The pier lighting created a magical river scene at night. We made use of the large game collection. The shower was spacious for 2 with hot water with great pressure, and aloe gel was a LIFESAVER when a sunburn developed. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable with extras, and the master bedroom smelled delightful. You can’t beat the value of this beautiful space! Thank you for a memorable family experience! We’ll be back!

As this is a family tradition to stay on false river every yr for Easter this one was bitter sweet beacause my mom wasn't there she passed away 4 months ago. She definitely would have loved it. The home was very warm and welcoming we had a great time we fished tried our hand at kayaking lol. and just hung around. We did have a few issues but it was fixed right away. It was a little pricy but it was worth the stay everything was beautiful and the hosts was very helpful and respectful and responsive to our needs. We will definitely book ago. Lovely home and neighborhood peaceful and loved the lake behind the home we caught a couple fish the beds are extremely comfortable everything worked😊 Our host were amazing and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and we even got to meet in person. Recommend this home 10000% it’s worth it beautiful decorations and everything you could possibly need included

We had a wonderful time at this place! The view from the screened in back porch was great and we even got to see a gator from the porch! We had everything we needed as far as cooking supplies and the pool table was a place we found ourselves each night in a friendly competition, even our daughter joined in with the pool games! The host was excellent and his respond time is very quick if anything was needed.

Sarah and Ian were great hosts! The house is in great location to get away from the excitement of Baton Rouge. We were in town for a dance competition, and we enjoyed our downtime at Sarah and Ian’s place. They even had board games to play!

This place was perfect for our family of 8. It was semi-secluded and felt like home. The fishing dock and fire pit were great bonuses for the kids. Large living space, lots of comfy beds, three bathrooms, good kitchen area, plus outdoor areas. Great spot! So glad we found it!

Very great place to stay, located in a great neighborhood. Josh was very responsive and a great person to talk to! Highly recommend staying here if you want a clean, comforting place to stay while in the Baton Rouge area!

We enjoyed our stay at the Guest House. Our hosts were very friendly and show great hospitality. From recommendations on restaurants to bringing us fresh eggs they always were very hospitable. The house is very nice and homey feeling with plenty of room and amenities. Everything was clean and well organized. From the comfortable beds to the outside sitting areas we couldn't complain about Any thing. We highly recommend this booking to anyone who is coming to stay in the area. I know that the next time we are in town I'm going to try and stay again if it's available.

Nancy place was absolutely amazing, very peaceful and accommodating to all my guest. 3 master bedrooms were perfect, spacious living spaces. The house had everything we needed. Nancy communicated with us throughout our entire stay, flexible check in was a plus! Highly recommended!

Absolutely love this place!!! This is our fourth time staying here. Anthony and Stacey have a very pleasant home and they are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. We stayed for the weekend with our kids. The house is quite lux. We enjoyed swimming and catching catfish off the dock. There is very comfortable seating indooors and our. Lights on the dock. Extremely roomy and well stocked inside. Super comfortable. Would recommend for sure.
