Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fallowfield

Charming house in the Peak District close to many great walks and with lots of local restaurants and bars all gearing up for Christmas. Perfect for our injured son with a broken leg as walk in shower and bedroom were all easily accessible on the ground floor whilst we were pampered by the upstairs 4 poster bed. Magnificent large kitchen/diner and sensational audio/visual system with massive TV to cuddle up and watch sports and movies from ultra comfortable large sofas. Everything we needed for a perfect 3 night stay. I have no doubt we will be back for another stay in the nearest future.

A really enjoyable stay for my group. Everything was as described and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Getting up the track in the snow and mud was a bit of a challenge for some of the cars, but then the weather was exceptionally bad during our stay. Would definitely return.

the place of stay was exactly as listed. The room it's self was great with near by restaurants and takeaway and the one we got which was amazing (5 star kitchen). The bath was the selling point for us which was great also The host Sadiya was amazing really friendly explained everything to us and made us feel relaxed straight away. thanks guys would definitely come again.

Having stayed here for a second time, we absolutely loved the peace and quiet that Dot's Cabin gave us. It's a beautiful, cozy cabin in a setting that's perfect to switch off too. Even in cold weather, once we got the wood burning fire going, we were comfortable and warm. The surroundings felt private even though we were on a working farm. With the added extra to book the hot tub, this was an amazing way to warm up after a day of walking (in a beautiful surroundings, helpfully provided walks by Dot during the check in instructions). It felt glamorous and it was a great way to enjoy the peace at night. Communication was extremely helpful and we felt very looked after. We will be back!

Richard is a lovely host very clear instructions given of how to get to the barn and friendly throughout assisting us with directions etc .The barn is very cozy has everything you need and in a lovely location.Hot tub was lovely and warmed on arrival.We took our dog who thoroughly enjoyed playing in the fenced area around the hot tub.Enjoyed walking round and seeing the animals on the farm.Wished we had booked for longer. Thank you for a lovely stay will definitly return.

Incredible stay at Sophia’s. So welcoming and comfortable, everything’s was just as it was pictured. Super clean and spacious. Sophia was extra thoughtful of my long journey, the welcome basket had everything I needed to settle in. Great recommendations and quick communication. This place made my stay in Manchester feel like home, could not recommend high enough!

Absolutely beautiful cottage, great space inside and out….met and exceeded our expectations, fabulously positioned! Our host Nicky couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our time at Hawthorn Bank, definitely recommend and will stay again!!!

A cosy cottage with absolutely stunning views. Very nice walks as well as scenic drives spread across the area. Richard is a fantastic host, and is always there if any queries pop up

Simon has been the most generous host in every sense. The house is quiet, private and relaxing. There’s everything you need here too. The river at the bottom of the street is a lovely walk and Burton Rd is a stone throw for restaurants and cafes. The airport is 15 min drive and we had fun at The Airport pub watching the big planes land. Overall a relaxing stay - and I was there for surgery at the local hospital! So I’m grateful to Simon for all his help.

I stayed with my mum and friends in the Airbnb for around one week. It is stylish, clean and comfortable. It is in a convenient location with lots of restaurants. Andy and Paula are great hosts. I once had some problem with opening the main door lock. Andy was responsive and called me directly and gave me clear instructions to help. I really have an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this place to others.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great place for a get together, pool was nice and warm and kids loved it. Also useful to have different cottages so everyone could get a nap or work done. Would recommend

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Fantastic and quaint two night stay for my Wife's 35th birthday. The Manners apartment was lovely and had Christmas decorations up including a tree. The entire grounds were decorated with amazing lights and the place just looked brilliant inside and out. Hot tub was lovely and it was clear which hot tubs were designated to which property. We made good use of the pool too which was great and booking was very easy. It is an 8 minute drive to Bakewell which is where we spent our day on Saturday. Did a nice 2hr hike followed by pub lunch. Our beagle Baxter had a great time and so did we! We were also offered later checkout which was a lovely touch.

Me and my friends had a lovely time. There were lots of little touches that made it amazing and so homely. The location was perfect as it was down a few slopes/steps and you were in town. Holmefirth itself is beautiful and we are definitely coming back and will definitely stay in Eider Cottage again. I always had quick responses from the hosts leading up to my stay and whilst I was there. Thank you so so much
