We had a fantastic stay at Gloria’s. The location could not have been more peaceful. The house is in great condition and full of character with an amazing lake view. Having access to all the lake has to offer just a short drive away while being able to take a walk in the woods in total silence from the front door was awesome. Thank you Gloria! Marilena was an impeccable host and very helpful with the needs that were exposed to her. She welcomed us and explained the operation of the house in a clear way and made herself available for any need or problem that arose during the stay. I highly recommend it for both short and long stays as in our case. The apartment and the amenities highlighted in the description, at the time she booked, were the same and there were no surprises. If you have to stay in Merone again, we will definitely contact you again.

Great view and the pool (which we couldn't use in October because of the weather) are a dream. Paola is a dream host and always available and had many tips right from the start. Unfortunately, shopping is not possible in the village, i.e. you either have to buy something in smaller shops (if you can find a parking space) or have to go back to Como. Otherwise, you can also start directly at the apartment for a few hikes. There are restaurants in the village or in nearby villages if you can find a parking space - which was unfortunately an issue even in October (also because of construction sites)

Rocky's apartment is perfect for a 2-person stay in beautiful Torno. It is quiet - the small creek mentioned by some mentioned on the side of the apartment can be heard in a whisper quiet - it didn't bother us at all. The apartment is very well maintained and of high quality, furnished with lots of love and an excellent, great taste. The large windows create a very bright, pleasant sense of space. The view between trees to the lake and the chain of hills behind meet expectations and saturate the long awaited view of this - as we find - the most beautiful Alpine lake in Italy. Rocky is an extremely friendly, lovely host who can be seen again in the evening at the cozy bar Italia down at the ferry port. Highly recommended! We'll be back for sure!
