The Cabin Devon rural retreat perfect for couples.

A large, cosy rustic 1 room cabin with separate electric shower & toilet, & kitchenette. King size bed. Stunning countryside views, set in a private animal paddock at the top of our garden. Fantastic for dog walking. It’s situated on a rural lane in an AONB . Situated between 2 villages both with pubs & village shops, one is easily walkable but a car is recommended, or bikes. We are located between north & south coasts so stunning beaches on hand as well as two national parks, Exmoor & Dartmoor.

We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place for a New Years reunion for 5 lifelong friends. We're of an age where warmth and convenience are our goals, and this large, well-appointed and unusual log cabin gave us all these. In the summer, NOATAC would be ideal for those who want the great outdoors, perhaps a younger generation than us, as there is a large garden and decked area. But we still enjoyed a walk or two, even if it was mid-winter! Thanks, Matthew, for a most enjoyable stay.

just had lovely couple of nights at the cabin. Kate appeared as soon as we arrived and showed us round - she was friendly and welcoming and, because of the bad weather, had lit the fire for us so - and provided scones cream and jam, as well as tea coffee and sugar. The cabin was beautiful, quirky and cosy, spotlessly clean and very cosy. The immediate surroundings were beautifully maintained, private and secluded and the bad weather meant we were able to make good use of the wood burner! We had a great time and would be very happy to return to the cabin.

Absolutely delightful Airbnb in the form of a cabin facing south across beautiful landscape. The cabin had everything you could possibly need, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, endless hot water, efficient heating. The location was lovely (so peaceful and quiet). Alison and Mark were on hand if needed (sweet friendly hosts). Highly recommend Allison place!

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our stay and were really impressed with the grounds , everything was clean and beautiful . All the little touches were excellent and appreciated so much , there were a beautiful bouquet of roses , items in the cupboard and fridge which were a nice touch as there’s always something we forget ! , We were given the opportunity to use the pool table and darts board on our last evening as the lodge was empty that night , which I thought was a lovely touch , and also gave me the opportunity to beat my other half at a game of pool. The hot tub was a great feature ! And the communication from the hosts was excellent and very informative and although we didn’t have any problems , I knew if there was , they’d be on it . We will definitely be back again . Thank you .

Abi was a wonderful host! She answered any questions I had before my stay really quickly, as well as going out her way to help me book my taxis, and storing my luggage after check out until I caught my train later in the day. She also offered to let me use the front gate as I was a little wary of using the back entrance when returning in the evening. The accommodation with spotless and the bed was really comfy!Great location too for the train station, supermarket and town centre.

We had the best time in this cosy cabin! Amazing how it feels so private even though you’re in the middle of a housing area. The cabin is spotless, beautifully and simply finished, and everything works perfectly. Lovely hot water, little fridge and small kitchen area, clearly very well thought out in design. It feels super cosy and perfect for two people. The bed was sooo comfy and lovely fresh clean good quality linen. Even though it rained throughout our stay 😂 we enjoyed the 10-15 walk into Totnes and the cabin is the perfect quiet stay to unwind. Parking was easy, nice little back gate to enter the garden so you don’t have to walk past the house. Jonathan was super friendly, responsive and clear about instructions to check in. We were very grateful as we booked very last minute for a spontaneous trip away. Would highly recommend and this will definitely be our go-to stay when we return to Totnes. many thanks, Tamsin and Olly :)

We had an incredible stay at Lakemoor! The hut was cozy, well-equipped with solar lighting, USB charging, a log burner, and a private outdoor space with a fire pit/BBQ. Surrounded by friendly animals and nature, with the River Taw just behind, it was the perfect peaceful escape. The stargazing was stunning thanks to minimal light pollution. Justin and Claire were wonderful hosts—communicative but never intrusive, which we really appreciated. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommend for a relaxing, off-grid getaway!

Penny and her husband and two lovely dogs were great hosts, with some good local recommendations. Easy access to some of South Devon's best beaches and towns, with most spots a 20 minute drive away.

What a wonderful find! This log cabin is set in the most beautiful and private space, with the red quarry rock and wonderful red wood trees surrounding you. Its a real wildlife haven, we literally spent hours gazing out at our own 'wildlife TV'. If you want to relax and kickback this is definitely the place to do it. Local town 'Wivey' is walking distance and has lots going on, friendly locals and great pubs/food. The cabin is really well equipped and feels really cosy and comfortable, we will definitely be returning next year!
