Great value for money accommodation in a quiet rural location but close enough to pubs and public transport. Good location for exploring the wider area by car, bicycle or train.

Spotlessly clean, easy to access and very private. Good to have fresh milk and water provided.

We loved our stay at the barn. Bigger inside than pictures, gorgeous wood beams and high ceilings made it feel grand. Very clean and well decorated, felt welcoming. Was helpful that kitchen had basics like salt, pepper, oil, some tea bags, milk, coffee and dishwasher tablets. Beautiful views from living/kitchen area overlooking vineyard and in the distance can see the river. Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely walks right from the barn along the riverside and through the vineyard. Enjoyed the spa and salt room, lovely that this was a private booking. Well equipped clean gym. Cafe does very good food and reasonable.

Mirko's place was a great place to stay in London. Mirko was responsive, attentive and friendly, I had a great stay at Mirko's place!

Very clean, bedding and towels smelled great. Hot tub was very relaxing, nice farmland surroundings and would recommend shoes/boots that can withstand the mud!

Homely corner for exploring the local area, thank you Roddy and Mrs Roddy (and Winston the Labrador!) for a comfortable stay. A friendly welcome, and the breakfast things and snacks were a nice touch.

Everything was great, station is only 2 mins away which is great, only one minus is that there is a bad signal of wifi but we used ours so that wasnt really an issue

The accommodation has plenty of space, with a separate living area which is good for relaxing in. Very welcoming place with a friendly dog too, and a good bedroom at the rear of the house overlooking the garden and the trees. Conveniently situated in the town and the house is a short walk to a Co-op shop and a chip shop. A nice place to stay.

The Pavilion was comfortable and well equipped, close to some beautiful walks and many excellent pubs. Liz was a very responsive host and to be met with milk, bread, butter, eggs, marmalade etc - all you needed for breakfast - was much appreciated. The beautiful bunch of daffodils was also a lovely touch. We had a great weekend and thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

This is a very rural and peaceful location in the Suffolk countryside - but only about 10 minutes from the main roads for quick access to other places you may like to visit.

Absolutely wonderful - perfect place to stay for overnight or longer stay. Very quiet and peaceful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Although I didnt get to meet Nancy, she came accross as friendly and helpful and left her contact details if we required them. Highly recommended!

We were attending a function nearby, needed somewhere to stay, it fitted the bill exactly, minutes from the venue. Very comfortable, quiet location. I'm sure I'll be back!

Really nice, clean and comfortable room with tasteful decor and furnishings right in the Heart of Saffron Walden. Arabella was very helpful lending me a phone charger as I had forgotten mine. Being able to park on the drive is a bonus…would definitely return again.

I booked this on behalf of my mum who had a wonderful stay. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, you could tell that the host had put a lot of time and effort in creating this lovely lodge. Although we had only booked a couple of nights, the kitchen was full of all the appliances you could want for, making it easily possible to stay longer and have a few meals in. A lovely touch was the selection of shower gels the host had in the shower. Another great thing was how well-lit the outside of the lodge was, and placing lights above the areas where you needed to type in a code/use keys to get it was very much appreciated. During the stay my mum did meet both of the hosts and said that they really lovely and very willingly to help mum if she needed it. Heather was fantastic with communicating everything before the stay and very thoughtfully sent messages during the stay to make sure everything was okay. We will definitely be staying here again!

This apartment is really spacious and comfortable. The bed is good with lovely linen; kitchen well-equipped with hob, oven and microwave; and wood-burning stove. The decor throughout is calm and good quality. It’s is in a peaceful location but not far from the main road.

Very easy check in, everything was as described on the listing. Monica was a lovely helpful host and I felt safe in the airbnb. Only 20 mins walk from tube station and 3 min walk from bus stop. Easy to get around and nice quiet area. Thank you!

We felt very at home in Phillippa’s excellent annex. It was all the little extra touches including flowers on the dining table that made it so welcome. Everything we needed was there are we recommend it to anyone considering staying here.

The property is exactly as described. The hosts - Tony and Masha - are very helpful and friendly. They also gave us lots of recommendations on local restaurants which we would never find by ourselves. Location is perfect - near the beach. We have enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend it.

Lovely location and perfect space for a relaxing getaway

Laura was such a great host. We needed a place last minute for my mother to stay as we had some illness in our house, and Laura was super responsive and helpful, making my mum feel right at home and reassuring me that she would be comfortable and have everything she needed. My mum could not stop talking about what a great host she was.

I had a lovely short break at Victoria's place. The accommodation is just as described - it is small but very comfortable and in a quiet location. There is everything you need for a few days' stay and I appreciated the little extras provided. The location is perfect for long walks along the coast and exploring the town. I didn't meet Victoria during my stay but she was very helpful prior to check in, responding quickly to my questions about the location and parking. This was my first visit to Brightlingsea; I hope to return soon and will happily stay at Victoria's Coastal Retreat again.
