Pure awe. Just what we wanted, felt like the end of the world, perfect for unwinding and reading that important book. Great host, very attentive, communicates great. Showed us the Vanilla etc processing . Upgraded us from the lovely cottage to the main house. If you need to get away from the madness, then this is it. Bring enough time, supplies, and an open heart… and you will keep fond memories

Had a great time at Russell & Tricia’s place! Perfect getaway. Both were very accomodating and allowed us to bring our bikes over in their boat. Had many great bike rides around the island. The area was beautiful and private. Ocean right at your doorstep and a huge private yard to play sports. The place came filled with lots of entertainment - books, pool noodles, kayaks, puppies!

Beautiful location on Aore Island. We had a Dugong and it's pup visit the beach out front one day. The reef just off the beach is really beautiful with lovely coral formations. There were bananas and papaya ripe in the beautiful gardens so we got to enjoy some fresh fruit during our stay. There were a couple of hiccups with broken things or things not working, however it's a very challenging environment being high humidity and close to the sea which is much harder on stuff so it's understandable, these issues were dealt with responsively and quickly by the hosts. Fiona was always quick to respond to any messages and helped to organize trips on the island etc. The house benefits from a lovely sea breeze a lot of the time which helps to keep you cool.

5/5!! The location, the beauty and the host were all exceptional ❤️ Matilda was so considerate and accommodating and went above and beyond every step of the way. The bungalow itself was wonderful and i can’t imagine anywhere else being closer to the waters edge. Thank you Matilda and O’Neil, this was exactly what we needed and we are so grateful to you both 🙏
