We had a girls weekend. This was the first time staying here. We loved the walking distance down the beach/Tiki Bar area and Pumpkinfest. Very nice views of the lake. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. When I had a question she was always responsive. Would highly recommend this place to others.

We have stayed here twice and both times Douglas has gone above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. They leave muffins and chocolates. Beautiful fresh flowers and the entire house is well decorated and super clean. Douglas is very responsive to any questions that we had. It is a definite 5 star and would stay here any time we are in town. Thank you!

Look no further for a perfect romantic getaway! The lake/beach was just down the road with great views <3 where we picnicked and walked everyday, it’s a decently private area with a park nearby. The home was squeaky clean, beautiful, and well furnished. There were also beach towels and other such small things available in the house for our use. The hosts Meg & Seth are kind, flexible, and very responsive. Overall this is a special place, we had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again :)

Bearfoot by the Lake a new spacious rustic house

This is the second time my family stayed at Bearfoot by the Lake. It was just as clean and comfortable as the last time. A really nice home! There is a restaurant right across the street and an ice cream stand a few doors down. You can walk to the marina to rent a boat, or put your boat in the water. There is also a small beach with some playground equipment in walking distance, but the beach was kind of yucky when we were there. It was the last week of September, so probably out of season. There are several other places to eat within a few miles and a dollar general right up the street. We had a fabulous time. I would say the only downside to this property is that it is on a busy road during the day, but there is not much traffic in the evening. Even with being on a busy road, the back of the house is private and has a stream running through the back yard.

What a beautiful home, very clean, well laid out and plenty of room for all of us to stay and relax for a long weekend to attend our daughters wedding. Host was VERY responsive and very friendly. Could not have asked for a better place to stay during this wonderful event. Loved seeing the rabbits playing in the yard at night and the chipmunks playing on the patio every morning.

This is a really nice Airbnb. Our group loved staying here as it felt modern, open and cozy. They had plenty of sleeping, bedding and towels. Cooking was a breeze in the kitchen. I imagine this would be a wonderful place to stay in the summer such a short distance walk to the lake. Really easy to find, great host who was flexible with our late check in. Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful slice of heaven on the lake. We loved the cottage size, decor and location. Sat on the deck every morning to watch the sunrise. Easy to launch kayaks, boat or floats. The house was clean and bright, very private. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Will be back next summer.

We were confused about getting into the place, but contacted Mike and it was perfectly clear with his instructions. We found the place exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well equipped and the views of the lake were great. The private beach was a plus. We spent a couple of rainy days relaxing inside and found books and games to keep us occupied. We were a family of 6 and enjoyed exploring the area and visiting relatives. It was a wonderful week with lots of good times and good memories. The beautiful home and the area made it special.
