Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Erie

Such a beautiful place to stay. Chris was amazing and super helpful during the whole process. We could not have had a better stay, would recommend to anyone coming in the area!

Wendy's Lakehouse was exactly what my husband and I needed for our mini-retreat after our daughter's wedding. We were mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted when we arrived; but after a couple of days of complete quiet and privacy in the house, walking and laying on the private beach, listening to the water, watching the sunsets, and basking in the fresh Lake Erie breezes: we felt restored and refreshed. The only thing that disappointed us was that we couldn't stay longer... life rolls on! 😅 Within hours of our arrival we were making plans to return- next time with our 4 sons- as soon as possible! We even were dreaming about bringing future grandkids in years to come! 🥰 Thank you, Wendy, for providing this peaceful retreat!

Chandra’s place was very clean and comfortable. We inquired about a fire pit and she was kind enough to get it ready, so all we had to do was light it. There is still landscaping work being done, but it did not affect how much we enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to seeing it again once it’s completed!

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

We took our kids up skiing for their second time. The place was convenient, clean and spacious. Check in and check out instructions are very detail and helpful. We loved it! We definitely want to go again. If this place is available BOOK IT

Perfect stay for our large group with kids in varying ages. Although not fully wheelchair accessible, 1 of our guests in a wheelchair (age 14) was able to easily access amd navigate the ground level with ease (including entry, bathroom, and a bottom bunkbed) with plenty of space for all to gather together on the ground level.

Lori was a great host! She had everything we needed including freshly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us! The house is deceptively large—it’s so roomy with a ton of closet and storage space. One of my favorite features was the individual heaters in each bathroom. It was nice to have the heater on when we stepped out of the shower! The location is also great, a short drive to Edinboro, Cambridge, Meadville, and Erie. It was perfect for our family over Christmas. They even set up a Christmas tree and decorations for us! We felt very welcomed and would love to stay here again.

As soon as we walked in the door, we felt immediately at home! This was one of the best Air B&B stays that we have ever encountered! My wife was so impressed with how thoughtful the decor was and the welcome basket was yet another detail that we did not expect. The lake view was beautiful and even though the weather wasn't the best, it was the type of place that you could just relax and spend the day right there. Maripat and Tim were truly "Super Hosts" and it was evident with their home and their great communication. They literally thought of everything that you could possibly need and anything else was pretty close by. We had the most relaxing and stress free getaway that we've had in awhile. If our travels take us back to western NY again, I can guarantee that we will be trying to stay at this beautiful place on the lake. If we could give this 12 stars...we would!

Overall a ten out of ten experience, 1,000% will book again in the summer. Nice and cozy hideaway. I love it!

The place was beautiful and spacious. We loved all the books (especially the Stephen King books, I’m a big fan). It was great to have coffee although some decaf would have been nice. All of the towels and the robes were great! The small bed was very squeaky and did make hard to sleep. The cabinets were really tall and a stool in the kitchen would have been helpful. Overall a great place to stay.

I had a very nice stay at Dan’s place. The space was very clean and included all the essentials needed to cook and clean during my long term rental. It was also well decorated and made me feel at home during my stay. Dan was always very prompt with all of my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this rental!

Don's place was very comfortable. I love how it was decorated and the large bathtub and State of the Art Shower were a great bonus! Also, we stayed through the brutal Erie snowstorm, the apartment was very warm and the parking lot was plowed at all times. Don is very nice and answered any questions I had immediately Location was great. I can't say enough wonderful things.

Tammy’s place was great! We came in for the weekend and couldn’t have been happier with choosing Tammy’s place. It was very clean, easy instructions getting in, and centrally located to all that the area has to offer. Tammy was both responsive and very kind. Would gladly stay again and recommend to all that are considering!! We look forward to returning in the future!

This apartment is absolutely a gem, it felt like home away from home. It's beautifully decorated, comfortable, quiet, and unique! It was the perfect amount of space for our family of five. The coffee shop being located below was fantastic, and their baked goods were delicious. If we ever find ourselves taking another trip to Erie we will definitely be back, thank you!
