House vacation rentals in Erie County

We had a fantastic trip and thoroughly loved the home and amenities. A gem of a find and we will definitely be back. Easy check in, responsive host, had everything we needed and more. The family loved the pool. Truly an amazing trip. Highly highly recommend.

We took our kids up skiing for their second time. The place was convenient, clean and spacious. Check in and check out instructions are very detail and helpful. We loved it! We definitely want to go again. If this place is available BOOK IT

The home was actually better than the photos! It was extremely clean, first class, and well appointed. The attention to detail was amzing. She even left little snack baskets out for us. We had 3 kids aged 5 to 14 with us and there were tons of games and activities in the house for them to use. The dining table was large enough to hold all of us comfortably (we had 7 people). The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. There was firewood already cut up and ready to use in the fireplace. We also like how the house was laid out. The kids pretty much had the lower level, the main level was parents and main living areas, and the grandparents had the nice upper loft level. We had several questions during our stay and Denise was expremely responsive in helping us out. We hope to be able to return for another vacation.

Perfect for what we were looking for. Very convenient ski in/out right off the slopes. Very responsive host and very clean.

Place was perfect for our weekend. We had tickets to see Gary Allen Saturday night at Warner Theater, was only a 10 min ride from here. Faith was great with communication and helpful with anything we needed. We relaxed in the hot tub, had breakfast at a restaurant that was writhing walking distance. Overall we had a great experience and I’d definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Darlene was a friendly and attentive host from the minute we arrived until we checked out! The house is lovely and extremely clean. Our stay exceeded our expectations!! We look forward to booking with her in the future.

This was our fourth year staying at Barbara's and the place has now become as familiar to us as a second home. We again enjoyed our long weekend and expect to return next March. The lodge is cozy, well maintained and has all the attributes to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks Barbara.

Stayed for a month and everything was amazing. Very quiet with great views, I can’t wait to stay there in the summer when we can use the outside.

Jason and Julie have a wonderful rental home. Jason was very responsive including accommodating an earlier check in time. The space was amazing - clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our group of five (we never even used the lower level except to try out the pool table and start a load of linens before we left). Perfect place to unwind after a long day of skiing. Close enough to the slopes to take a break for dinner and then head out for some night skiing. Luxurious is the right word to describe this mountainside beauty. I only wish our stay would have been longer. We would definitely consider coming back.

Once again, our stay was fabulous! The house was impeccably clean and so comfortable! We were here during "Snowpocalypse 2024" - 4 feet of snow in about 36 hours! Bert called to make sure we were ok and extended our stay an extra night so we could be comfortable while trying to re-arrange flights, trains and departures. They are the best hosts ever! Very pro-active and super responsive! My family tries to stay here every time they visit Erie. Thanks again Bert and Stephanie!

It was an easy and a seamless process to check in and check out. The place was clean when we arrived, and Ted was in constant communication throughout our visit if we had any questions.

This stay was absolutely ideal for my situation. My husband was in the local hospital, and since I live about an hour and a half away, commuting back and forth just wasn’t practical—especially with my dog. I reached out ahead of time to make sure bringing her would be okay, and Mark and his team were incredibly responsive, kind, and quick to reply. The space was perfect for a few days: a cozy one-bedroom with a backyard where my dog could play and stretch her legs. The home was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with quality items. I especially appreciated not having to run out for basics like toilet paper or dish soap during such a short stay. Nothing felt overlooked here. The linens, in particular, stood out—soft, high-quality sheets, fluffy towels, and comfortable pillows that you don’t often find in a rental. This place really exceeded expectations, and I’m so grateful it was available when I needed it most.

We rented the house for the weekend to attend our son's college spring game. The house was very welcoming. The decorations seemed to be very antique but extremely well maintained. Very spacious and open. Very clean as well! The only cons I have: only one TV in the entire home. Our family likes to wind down at night with movies and we also use TVs for white noise to sleep. This made the sleeping arrangement a bit difficult. However, it was worth it to have a sleepover with my babies all weekend. All in all, it was completely worth it. Would definitely rent again, and again!!

This place was absolutely perfect! We were in town for a work event at the convention center, and it was so close, so easy to get to. Everything was spotless, tidy, and the space was perfect for us and our two dogs. Also a great walking path over looking the bay! Loved it. Highly recommend!

We loved everything that The Manor at Bear Ridge had to offer! It was perfect for our large group of families with teens for a getaway weekend. The large living room/ kitchen area had plenty of space for all of us to gather and enjoy games, pool table, and tv. Right across the street from Compass Bar and Grille and Peek and Peak for skiing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

We had a wonderful time! The home was so beautiful and clean. We felt very at home. Jessica even left us snacks and waters! The coffee bar was stocked as well. She really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Everything was clean and fresh. The location was great as we were able to walk to dinner. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

The grey house was a beautiful house in a good location everything you need is only a few minutes down the road. The house itself was neat and specious. Sarah was always responsive, friendly and polite, if you have any problem at all I advise you give her or her husband a ring they will get back to you and help in anyway.

Incredible location.. like its nom de guerre .. “Hell of a view” was aptly named. The views from the porch of the bayfront marina were spectacular. The cottage was also great with all required amenities. Valerie was very helpful and responsive. It’s a great location for a peaceful holiday with restaurants and stones throw away. Would definitely recommend.

Lori was a great host! She had everything we needed including freshly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us! The house is deceptively large—it’s so roomy with a ton of closet and storage space. One of my favorite features was the individual heaters in each bathroom. It was nice to have the heater on when we stepped out of the shower! The location is also great, a short drive to Edinboro, Cambridge, Meadville, and Erie. It was perfect for our family over Christmas. They even set up a Christmas tree and decorations for us! We felt very welcomed and would love to stay here again.
