Bungalow vacation rentals in English Channel

A lovely place with an amazing view of the Solent. One afternoon we just spent with the doors open in the sunshine watching the boats come in and out. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything I needed to cook the meals, and everything was clean throughout. A really nice break, and would absolutely recommend.

This is our second stay at Atlantic View - and just as wonderful. Beautifully situated, with stunning views. A home from home - the space is very clean and well equipped. The holiday village is quiet, but with new facilities open which are lovely. Heated pool, bar and restuarant within walking distance.

Great location, outlook was fabulous from the decking. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Thank you!

Was exactly as described, a lovely bungalow, with beautiful smelling flowers on the path up to the front door. Good place if you want explore Dartmoor (and meet the ponies), and Exeter. The beach in Exmouth was lovely and was very close.

Well this place is a pure gem! The location alone is incredible overlooking Westward Ho! beach, I’m sure whatever the weather you’d never tire of it. The bungalow is such a special calming place, very comfortable both sofas and bed. The lovely Asian furniture and interesting objects make this a very unique place! Practically it’s very well equipped and has everything one could need, especially the binoculars! I will definitely be back.

Thanks so much for our stay, perfect for 2 adults & 2 young children. Really secure , right amount of space for them to be able to have a little play/watch tv. Bonus having a few toys to play with. Thanks also for the tea & biscuits!

wonderful place in an excellent location right by the beach. good choice of restaurants walkable. great space - we had two toddlers and Mary went out of her way to provide two cots, high chair etc. right by the beach but also had two great gardens we could use too. felt right at home and will hopefully stay again

Hannah’s place was perfect for our getaway to the IOW. Easily accessible to Colwell Bay and Yarmouth by foot or car. Clean and tidy place with all the facilities we could need.

We loved our stay at Otter Rise, unfortunately for us it was just a very short visit. The views and peacefulness were so relaxing. The chocolate cake on arrival went down very well (two teenage boys soon demolished that!) and the bread, milk and marmalade were also very appreciated. Anne was a lovely host, pre-stay communication was brilliant and all of the local information in the book was very useful. The local pub for food was perfect. The accomadation is lovely, clean and homely with everything we needed, including games for evening entertainment. We would love to come again and stay for longer. Thank you Anne

We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at this little paradise right on the beach, and it truly exceeded our expectations! The location is unbeatable—situated right on the shore, we were treated to stunning sea views that made every moment feel special. The ambience is wonderfully quiet, perfect for those looking to relax and unwind. We appreciated the proximity to numerous pubs and restaurants nearby, allowing us to easily explore local dining options. We were fortunate to have lovely weather and took full advantage of the BBQ facilities located conveniently outside. It was a joy to cook and dine while enjoying the fantastic ocean backdrop. Overall, our experience was nothing short of fantastic, and we can't wait to return to this beautiful spot. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway!

This lovely place was perfectly located to allow for me and my wife to explore the Roseland peninsula with our two dogs. The local coastal walks were stunning and so varied. It’s a great base for exploring the nearby beaches, with a wonderful beach within easy walking distance for those who are fit (a fairly steep woodland pathway). Lots of nice places to eat out nearby too, highly recommend the Standard Inn pub. The Cornish Italian literally 5 minutes down the road was very good too. The property was very clean and tidy and easy to locate. It had ample cooking equipment and it was nice to have various oils, foil etc provided. The fresh flowers, tasty biscuits and wine were lovely touches & Annie came to greet us, making us feel very welcome. The garden was nice and secure, & considering our little Jack Russell is normally an escape artist, she did not find a hole to escape from!

Beautiful accommodation and location - extremely private/secluded. Extremely well appointed throughout the house - lots of accessories for a spa experience. Spa facilities are truly outstanding.

Lovely place, well situated for town and beach. Very well appointed, very clean and easy to stay in. There are great views from the terrace. We would definitely come back again.

Would highly recommend Georgie’s place. A group of for of us stayed here for three nights and found it really spacious, modern and clean. There is also a lovely garden which we were able to enjoy. Georgie was brilliant at communicating and very kindly allowed us to check-in early. Would definitely stay again when next in Braunton!

Lesley was the perfect host. Even though she was away herself she responded quickly to a problem sorting it out as quickly as possible. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. The scones on arrival was a lovely kind thought and much appreciated. As disabled, being all on one level with plenty of space in the common areas was a welcome advantage. Would definitely recommend.
