This is the right place if you want to disconnect. We brought enough groceries for our week’s stay and were able to truly unplug and relax, which is what we needed.

Stunning home! Open design and spectacular decor! Very comfortable and super clean! Loved chatting with owner, Amanda! Great communication. Obviously, this island is absolutely beautiful, but this home was so gorgeous that I almost didn’t want to go outside! My son loved the hammock on huge screened porch/deck. You won’t need to bring much except groceries because this house has it all. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

Victoria’s place at sunset cove was perfect for our family of 4. Loved the location, was able to walk to several local restaurants. As well as a short walk to Cedar Point Environmental Park and not a far drive at all to the beach. Loved the swimming pool area and relaxing by the gas fire pit at night. The pool is pretty cold but you can have her turn the heat on for an additional $150. Our kids didn’t seem to mind the cold pool so we didn’t bother to have the heat turned on. Would definitely return to this location.

This pristine home was right out of Architectural Digest. David absolutely went out of his way to make our stay the very best experience we have ever had. My only dilemma was never wanting to leave! If you are considering a stay in Englewood, you must not hesitate to immediately book this home without hesitation. Airbnb makes it easy & David is always accessible & so personable that by the end of your experience, you'll want to be buddies! David leaves more than ample cleaning supplies, household necessities, condiments, & extras you might forget - like I did - batteries! I just used them & replaced at my convenience. My only critique, if you could call it that, is the beautiful dishes & glassware. I had to run for paper plates & cups knowing the klutz in me would drop them on the beautiful floor & lovely white comforters just waiting for me to stain! The pool & hot were perfectly warm & hot! Love the Windsor! Will seek out more of his accommodations if he approves of me too!! Thanks!

Susy is a great host. We had a good time.

We went over spring break and had 4 adults and 5 kids (between 2 and 8 years old). The house was clean, had plenty of space for everyone, and beds and couch were comfy! The older kids loved the bunk beds. The garage had everything we needed to spend the day at the beach… plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella (maybe 2), boogie boards, toys for the kids to play in the sand. The beach was just a few steps away… and had so many shells and shark teeth! We only wished we could stay another few days!

We have been coming to the Placida/Englewood area for the past 6 years and absolutely love it! Leslie’s place was perfect as it’s on the water and allowed us to dock our boat. We are on our boat everyday fishing, exploring the local beaches, and island hopping. Leslie’s place offered such amazing convenience for all of that and we couldn’t have been happier. There were a couple small hiccups in the beginning , but Leslie was such an attentive and responsive host and immediately took care of it for us. She was a gracious host and we will definitely remember our great stay at her house on the canal. Definitely a peaceful and relaxing vacation after such a long, cold Michigan winter. It was a much-needed getaway. Thank you, Leslie! We wish you all the best!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home. Very relaxing. The pool and hot tub was big hit for us. We enjoyed countless hours in the pool. Location is great. We would definitely stay there again.

Good place to stay with our kids. We had an issue with the pool heater and Ben was very quick and responsive to fixing the issue.

Had a lovely stay here. Communication with Carmen was fantastic. Decorating in home was tasteful and lovely and we felt right at home.

Mark was such a great host and the home was just perfect for me, my wife and 10 year old son. Place was very clean, comfortable beds, all the needed amenities and the pool was marvelous!!! Neighborhood is quiet and out of the hustle and bustle, but also only 10 minutes away from Target, Walmart and a number of great restaurants! The garage was also nice to have for our rental vehicle! We were within an hour of numerous beaches but the hurricane aftermath was still an issue at most, but still was able to catch a few gorgeous sunsets! We highly recommend Mark’s place as he is so kind and easy to work with. His place was a 2nd home to us for 11 days. We hope to return as it was such a great place for us!

Beautiful salt water pool, amazing screened in porch and fenced backyard made our stay an outdoor paradise. 10 minutes from beach options, minutes to great restaurants and a pier to fish off of! We gathered shells, sand dollars and shark teeth, watched amazing sunrises and sunsets. One day we even visited Universal Studios. This house is in a great location, peaceful and clean with every amenity anyone could dream of. I had a question and Andrea responded immediately. This trip was a much needed respite for our family and we enjoyed every second. And, oh, did I mention the glorious pool?

Staying at Dolphin Doad was so wonderful. It’s exactly as described and as the pictures detailed. The outdoor seating area is perfectly in the shade and you still get a breeze. The pond behind the house was really beautiful with all the birds that were flying around and skimming the water. I didn’t think I would care about the location until it felt secluded with that view, even though we were in neighborhood. Donna was very responsive and friendly. When we had a slight issue with the pool temp being cold - they immediately got it sorted and we were all set for the week with a warm clean pool. The location is really perfectly located to the downtown Venice shops and restaurants (15 minutes) and 5 minutes from grocery store, pharmacy, target so we could stock up. Would definitely recommend this place!

Our family stayed here for a wedding. The highlight was definitely the pool and outdoor space. We also enjoyed the Casita and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the house was great for a large group. The host were very communicative and on top of our needs.

1000/10. My husband and I wanted to vacation for the the first time with our 9 month old baby. After arriving to Florida, our original place had fallen through and David very last minute accommodated us. He made sure the place was cleaned and was very responsive. We were so relieved that we found this place. It was even better than in photos. We loved the design of the home, the private pool that was very clean and exploring the area. We are looking forward to our next stay and can’t thank David enough for turning our trip around.

I would stay here again! The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, game room had lots for our family to do, close to the beach, lots of outdoor space and plenty of parking. Pamela was quick to help when we needed something. The dock was spacious and easy to get to and we had fun fishing and kayaking.

We had a wonderful stay here - my husband and I, our son, daughter, son-in-law and grandson. The house is well set up for 2 families with a very private master "wing" with it's own large king bedroom, ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet and desk. It is a short (less than 5 minute walk) to the beach which we often had all to ourselves! The house itself is clean, modern, comfortable and very well equipped. We really enjoyed the screened-in outdoor patios, BBQ and games room! A quiet peaceful neighborhood. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. We hope to stay here again!

We had an exceptional stay here for the weekend. Tyka was very helpful and everything was provided. Place was clean, private, and very peaceful. This is not a party spot this is a great couples or family retreat. Minutes to anything you need and easily accessible with uber/lyft. Pool was great and kitchen had everything we needed. Will def consider this place in the future!

This place is really beautiful and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need. It is really clean and the hosts were very responsive. We rented a golf cart which was really helpful since the beach was 1/2 mile away. The beach is beautiful and private...not crowded at all. The one restaurant on the island has decent food. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway then this place is perfect.

This is a very beautiful home. Great for a family or multiple couples. Several separate spaces to watch TV or to have a private place to read. The pool area was beautiful. Wish it would have been warmer but not everything can be perfect. Does have white furniture so make sure people are careful and eat and drink in kitchen. Overall just lovely!!!

Finding a whole house was great—lots of room, and private. The new floors were great. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you could need including seasonings. Bedrooms and bathrooms large and comfortable. Every room has a fan, which is great in Florida. We had a little trouble figuring out the Roku TV, but once we did, we could use Netflix and watched a couple of good free movies in the den—very comfortable. We were there a short time so didn’t try a lot of restaurants, but Sharkies on the Pier is close by and a favorite for watching the sunset. The downtown area is close and has lots of cute shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet, easy to navigate, and we found a great walking/biking park just down the street. Toni was super responsive, even when she was in a different time zone! We would definitely recommend Toni’s house for short or longer term stays.

Brian’s Superhost status is 100% accurate- he was great! The house was clean, easy to navigate and Brian was super responsive and gracious. The pool area is divine and the screened in porch overlooking the backyard was a great place to curl up with a book. We were within minutes of groceries, restaurants and shopping but the street was not busy or noisy. Definitely plan to stay again!!

Wow! We enjoyed our stay in Andreina's home! The house was beautiful! It was clean and smelled wonderful. We did not see one bug our entire stay. The decorations and furniture were very beachy. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possible need. Andreina provided body wash and shampoo. The backyard was amazing! There were beautiful palm trees and flowering plants. We enjoyed walking around the pathways to the pretty waterview. The natural setting was relaxing. We saw birds, geckos and rabbits. There were many options for sitting comfortably in lounge chairs, at tables, a swing or by the fire pit. Our routine was to have our morning coffee in the yard and benefit from the peaceful environment. We enjoyed watching the sunset on Manasota Beach which was a 5 minute drive away. Andreina was very responsive with any questions. I would highly recommend renting this home away from home if you are in the area. It was a lucky find and we hope to stay there again.
